Usprkos brojnim kritikama koje stižu sa svih strana, Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) ne odustaje od ideje uvođenja svjetskog prvenstva svake  dvije godine.

"Svjetsko prvenstvo svake dvije godine nije moj zahtjev, već je Kongres tražio studiju izvodljivosti. Napravili smo vrlo ozbiljnu studiju, sa sportske točke gledišta sve funkcionira, a ekonomski učinak je pozitivan za sve." Tako je u mikrofon Radio Anch'io sporta na prvom programu Raia kazao predsjednik FIFA-e Gianni Infantino.

"U Europi postoji jaka opozicija, u Italiji, Španjolskoj i Engleskoj se živi Svjetsko prvenstvo svaki tjedan s najboljim igračima svijeta, ali u ostatku svijeta to ne postoji," dodao je prvi čovjek svjetskog nogometa.

Infantino je istaknuo kako je 166 zemalja članica zatražilo studiju izvodivosti.

"Pretpostavke moraju biti jasne, 88% zemalja, čak i većina europskih, tražilo je studiju. Napravili smo vrlo ozbiljnu studiju koja pokazuje da bi sa sportske točke gledišta sve funkcioniralo, bilo bi manje reprezentativnih utakmica, ali više značajnih" kazao je Infantino nastavivši: "Mnoge zemlje u svijetu nemaju sreću igrati Svjetsko prvenstvo, samo 32 od 211 zemalja. Kada je odlučeno da se SP igra svake četiri godine prije 100 godina nogomet je igralo 40 zemalja u svijetu, danas ih ima više od 200 i to se mora uzeti u obzir."

Infantino je pojasnio kako bi World Cup svake dvije godine imao pozitivan ekonomski učinak, ali bi zaštitio i nacionalna prvenstva, te same igrače.

"Ekonomski učinak očito je pozitivan za sve. Svatko bi od toga profitirao. Ali prije svega to je zaštita nacionalnih prvenstava s manje prekida i zaustavljanja, a također i za igrače jer bi nakon Svjetskog prvenstva uslijedila pauza od najmanje tri tjedna za odmor, nešto što danas ne postoji".

Osvrnuo se i na World Cup koji će se koncem ove godine održati u Kataru, ali i o brojnim kontraverzama vezanim za sigurnost radnika u toj zemlji.

"S stajališta rada, u Kataru je napravljen ogroman napredak. U Kataru bez Svjetskog prvenstva ne bi bilo društvenog napretka. Postignut je ogroman humanitarni napredak. Dovedimo svijet u Katar, kako bi pokazali da na Bliskom istoku  provodimo promjene za koje su u Europi bile potrebne desetke godina."

Infantino je naglasio kako "moramo biti sposobni prenijeti nogometne emocije na mlade ljude".

"Moramo pokušati biti inovativni s pravilima bez uništavanja nogometa, koristeći VAR sa zdravim razumom. Sudac uvijek mora odlučivati, ljudski aspekt mora prevladavati. Moramo potaknuti djecu da ostave telefon na stranu i igraju nogomet," poručio je Infantino.

Usprkos brojnim kritikama koje stižu sa svih strana, Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) ne odustaje od ideje uvođenja svjetskog prvenstva svake  dvije godine.

"Svjetsko prvenstvo svake dvije godine nije moj zahtjev, već je Kongres tražio studiju izvodljivosti. Napravili smo vrlo ozbiljnu studiju, sa sportske točke gledišta sve funkcionira, a ekonomski učinak je pozitivan za sve." Tako je u mikrofon Radio Anch'io sporta na prvom programu Raia kazao predsjednik FIFA-e Gianni Infantino.

"U Europi postoji jaka opozicija, u Italiji, Španjolskoj i Engleskoj se živi Svjetsko prvenstvo svaki tjedan s najboljim igračima svijeta, ali u ostatku svijeta to ne postoji," dodao je prvi čovjek svjetskog nogometa.

Infantino je istaknuo kako je 166 zemalja članica zatražilo studiju izvodivosti.

"Pretpostavke moraju biti jasne, 88% zemalja, čak i većina europskih, tražilo je studiju. Napravili smo vrlo ozbiljnu studiju koja pokazuje da bi sa sportske točke gledišta sve funkcioniralo, bilo bi manje reprezentativnih utakmica, ali više značajnih" kazao je Infantino nastavivši: "Mnoge zemlje u svijetu nemaju sreću igrati Svjetsko prvenstvo, samo 32 od 211 zemalja. Kada je odlučeno da se SP igra svake četiri godine prije 100 godina nogomet je igralo 40 zemalja u svijetu, danas ih ima više od 200 i to se mora uzeti u obzir."

Infantino je pojasnio kako bi World Cup svake dvije godine imao pozitivan ekonomski učinak, ali bi zaštitio i nacionalna prvenstva, te same igrače.

"Ekonomski učinak očito je pozitivan za sve. Svatko bi od toga profitirao. Ali prije svega to je zaštita nacionalnih prvenstava s manje prekida i zaustavljanja, a također i za igrače jer bi nakon Svjetskog prvenstva uslijedila pauza od najmanje tri tjedna za odmor, nešto što danas ne postoji".

Osvrnuo se i na World Cup koji će se koncem ove godine održati u Kataru, ali i o brojnim kontraverzama vezanim za sigurnost radnika u toj zemlji.

"S stajališta rada, u Kataru je napravljen ogroman napredak. U Kataru bez Svjetskog prvenstva ne bi bilo društvenog napretka. Postignut je ogroman humanitarni napredak. Dovedimo svijet u Katar, kako bi pokazali da na Bliskom istoku  provodimo promjene za koje su u Europi bile potrebne desetke godina."

Infantino je naglasio kako "moramo biti sposobni prenijeti nogometne emocije na mlade ljude".

"Moramo pokušati biti inovativni s pravilima bez uništavanja nogometa, koristeći VAR sa zdravim razumom. Sudac uvijek mora odlučivati, ljudski aspekt mora prevladavati. Moramo potaknuti djecu da ostave telefon na stranu i igraju nogomet," poručio je Infantino.

Usprkos brojnim kritikama koje stižu sa svih strana, Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) ne odustaje od ideje uvođenja svjetskog prvenstva svake  dvije godine.

"Svjetsko prvenstvo svake dvije godine nije moj zahtjev, već je Kongres tražio studiju izvodljivosti. Napravili smo vrlo ozbiljnu studiju, sa sportske točke gledišta sve funkcionira, a ekonomski učinak je pozitivan za sve." Tako je u mikrofon Radio Anch'io sporta na prvom programu Raia kazao predsjednik FIFA-e Gianni Infantino.

"U Europi postoji jaka opozicija, u Italiji, Španjolskoj i Engleskoj se živi Svjetsko prvenstvo svaki tjedan s najboljim igračima svijeta, ali u ostatku svijeta to ne postoji," dodao je prvi čovjek svjetskog nogometa.

Infantino je istaknuo kako je 166 zemalja članica zatražilo studiju...
