Engleski drugoligaš Sheffield Wednesday u novu će sezonu Championshipa startati sa 12 bodova minusa zbog kršenja pravila o zaradi i održivosti, objavilo je u petak vodstvo Engleske nogometne lige (EFL). 

Sheffield Wednesday je u studenome 2019. bio optužen za kršenje pravila, jer je u prodajom stadiona Hillsborough svom tajlandskom vlasniku Dejphonu Chansiriju pokušao spriječiti kršenje pravila o prekomjernom trošenju.

U svojim financijskim izvješćima klub je uključio taj prihod kao zaradu za razdoblje zaključno sa srpnjom 2018. Time je Wednesday prekršio EFL-ov Pravilnik o profitabilnosti i održivosti i zbog toga je kažnjen oduzimanjem 12 bodova u sljedećoj sezoni.

Da je kazna primjenjena na nedavno završenu sezonu, Sheffield Wednesday bi postao trećeligašem, jer je ostao osam bodova iznad zone ispadanja iz Championshipa.

Iz kluba su izjavili da prihvaćaju odluku nezavisne disciplinske komisije, ali i da su "iznimno razočarani" oduzimanjem bodova.

- Klub će pričekati pismeno očitovanje o razlozima za sankcije te će po primitku istog konzultirati svoje pravne savjetnike prije davanja daljnjih komentara - stoji u priopćenju Sheffield Wednesdaya.

Engleski drugoligaš Sheffield Wednesday u novu će sezonu Championshipa startati sa 12 bodova minusa zbog kršenja pravila o zaradi i održivosti, objavilo je u petak vodstvo Engleske nogometne lige (EFL). 

Sheffield Wednesday je u studenome 2019. bio optužen za kršenje pravila, jer je u prodajom stadiona Hillsborough svom tajlandskom vlasniku Dejphonu Chansiriju pokušao spriječiti kršenje pravila o prekomjernom trošenju.

U svojim financijskim izvješćima klub je uključio taj prihod kao zaradu za razdoblje zaključno sa srpnjom 2018. Time je Wednesday prekršio EFL-ov Pravilnik o profitabilnosti i održivosti i zbog toga je kažnjen oduzimanjem 12 bodova u sljedećoj sezoni.

Da je kazna primjenjena na nedavno završenu sezonu, Sheffield Wednesday bi postao trećeligašem, jer je ostao osam bodova iznad zone ispadanja iz Championshipa.

Iz kluba su izjavili da prihvaćaju odluku nezavisne disciplinske komisije, ali i da su "iznimno razočarani" oduzimanjem bodova.

- Klub će pričekati pismeno očitovanje o razlozima za sankcije te će po primitku istog konzultirati svoje pravne savjetnike prije davanja daljnjih komentara - stoji u priopćenju Sheffield Wednesdaya.

Sheffield Wednesday u novoj sezoni s 12 bodova minusa: prodajom stadiona svom vlasniku pokušao smanjiti troškove

Engleski drugoligaš Sheffield Wednesday u novu će sezonu Championshipa startati sa 12 bodova minusa zbog kršenja pravila o zaradi i održivosti, objavilo je u petak vodstvo Engleske nogometne lige (EFL). 

Sheffield Wednesday je u studenome 2019. bio optužen za kršenje pravila, jer je u prodajom stadiona Hillsborough svom tajlandskom vlasniku Dejphonu Chansiriju pokušao spriječiti kršenje pravila o prekomjernom trošenju.

U svojim financijskim izvješćima klub je uključio taj prihod kao zaradu za razdoblje zaključno sa srpnjom 2018. Time je Wednesday prekršio EFL-ov Pravilnik o profitabilnosti i održivosti i zbog toga je kažnjen oduzimanjem 12 bodova u sljedećoj sezoni.
