Ideja o europskoj Superligi nije nestala, posebno ako će se Aurelio De Laurentiis nešto pitati. Napolijev predsjednik namjerava oživjeti tu ideju s ulaganjem vrijednim 10 milijardi eura, ali uz nekoliko velikih i ključnih izmjena. Superliga s kojom se UEFA proljetos suočila gotovo je mrtva, iako Real Madrid, Barcelona i Juventus još uvijek drže za splav za spašavanje - pišu Sportske novosti.

Prijedlog Superlige pokazao se iznimno nepopularnim među engleskim navijačima, ali De Laurentiis vjeruje da može riješiti jednu od glavnih spornih točaka. Vizija filmskog producenta o europskoj Superligi je svojevrsna inačica Lige prvaka u kojoj svaki klub svake sezone mora zaslužiti svoje mjesto. Prethodni prijedlog Superlige bio je zatvorenog tipa, rezerviran samo za njezine osnivače.

"Sustav više ne funkcionira", rekao je De Laurentiis za Daily Mail, "Liga prvaka i Europska liga ne stvaraju dovoljno prihoda za klubove da opravdaju sudjelovanje u njemu. Da biste bili konkurentni, potrebno vam je više vrhunskih igrača. To znači da morate potrošiti više novca, a novac od nagrada na europskim natjecanjima to ne pokriva. Zato klubovi moraju razgovarati jedni s drugima kako bi osmislili moderniji i unosniji model natjecanja."

"Stvaramo europsku ligu s demokratskim sustavom ulaska, na temelju onoga što timovi postižu u svojim domaćim natjecanjima. Ispitao sam tržište i imam projekt koji će donijeti 10 milijardi eura u tu ligu, ali potrebna nam je dobra volja i potpuna neovisnost."

De Laurentiis je kupio Napoli 2004. godine kada je klub - nakon bankrota - pao sve do Serie C. Pod njegovim vodstvom vratili su se u Serie A 2007. godine, a u pet su se navrata plasirali u grupnu fazu Lige prvaka.

Ovaj 72-godišnjak je upozorio da je potrebna radikalna promjena, jer da se mlađi ljudi odmiču od nogometa kao spektakla.

"Ako ne promijenimo pravila igre i učinimo je spektakularnijom mladi će nas napustiti i nogomet više neće biti središnji dio našeg života", rekao je De Laurentiis.

"Moje istraživanje mi govori da su ljudi u dobi od osam do 25 godina prestali gledati nogomet i radije se igraju pametnim telefonima, koji su potpuno promijenili našu djecu. Ne kažem da će navika gledanja nogometa uživo na stadionu umrijeti, ali sada imamo "virtualne stadione" koji mogu privući milijarde ljudi da igraju utakmice jedni protiv drugih. Tko zna hoćemo li ih uspjeti vratiti na rutu najvećeg i najutjecajnijeg sporta na svijetu?", zaključio je predsjednik Napolija.

Ideja o europskoj Superligi nije nestala, posebno ako će se Aurelio De Laurentiis nešto pitati. Napolijev predsjednik namjerava oživjeti tu ideju s ulaganjem vrijednim 10 milijardi eura, ali uz nekoliko velikih i ključnih izmjena. Superliga s kojom se UEFA proljetos suočila gotovo je mrtva, iako Real Madrid, Barcelona i Juventus još uvijek drže za splav za spašavanje - pišu Sportske novosti.

Prijedlog Superlige pokazao se iznimno nepopularnim među engleskim navijačima, ali De Laurentiis vjeruje da može riješiti jednu od glavnih spornih točaka. Vizija filmskog producenta o europskoj Superligi je svojevrsna inačica Lige prvaka u kojoj svaki klub svake sezone mora zaslužiti svoje mjesto. Prethodni prijedlog Superlige bio je zatvorenog tipa, rezerviran samo za njezine osnivače.

"Sustav više ne funkcionira", rekao je De Laurentiis za Daily Mail, "Liga prvaka i Europska liga ne stvaraju dovoljno prihoda za klubove da opravdaju sudjelovanje u njemu. Da biste bili konkurentni, potrebno vam je više vrhunskih igrača. To znači da morate potrošiti više novca, a novac od nagrada na europskim natjecanjima to ne pokriva. Zato klubovi moraju razgovarati jedni s drugima kako bi osmislili moderniji i unosniji model natjecanja."

"Stvaramo europsku ligu s demokratskim sustavom ulaska, na temelju onoga što timovi postižu u svojim domaćim natjecanjima. Ispitao sam tržište i imam projekt koji će donijeti 10 milijardi eura u tu ligu, ali potrebna nam je dobra volja i potpuna neovisnost."

De Laurentiis je kupio Napoli 2004. godine kada je klub - nakon bankrota - pao sve do Serie C. Pod njegovim vodstvom vratili su se u Serie A 2007. godine, a u pet su se navrata plasirali u grupnu fazu Lige prvaka.

Ovaj 72-godišnjak je upozorio da je potrebna radikalna promjena, jer da se mlađi ljudi odmiču od nogometa kao spektakla.

"Ako ne promijenimo pravila igre i učinimo je spektakularnijom mladi će nas napustiti i nogomet više neće biti središnji dio našeg života", rekao je De Laurentiis.

"Moje istraživanje mi govori da su ljudi u dobi od osam do 25 godina prestali gledati nogomet i radije se igraju pametnim telefonima, koji su potpuno promijenili našu djecu. Ne kažem da će navika gledanja nogometa uživo na stadionu umrijeti, ali sada imamo "virtualne stadione" koji mogu privući milijarde ljudi da igraju utakmice jedni protiv drugih. Tko zna hoćemo li ih uspjeti vratiti na rutu najvećeg i najutjecajnijeg sporta na svijetu?", zaključio je predsjednik Napolija.

Ideja o europskoj Superligi nije nestala, posebno ako će se Aurelio De Laurentiis nešto pitati. Napolijev predsjednik namjerava oživjeti tu ideju s ulaganjem vrijednim 10 milijardi eura, ali uz nekoliko velikih i ključnih izmjena. Superliga s kojom se UEFA proljetos suočila gotovo je mrtva, iako Real Madrid, Barcelona i Juventus još uvijek drže za splav za spašavanje - pišu Sportske novosti.

Prijedlog Superlige pokazao se iznimno nepopularnim među engleskim navijačima, ali De Laurentiis vjeruje da može riješiti jednu od glavnih spornih točaka. Vizija filmskog producenta o europskoj Superligi je svojevrsna inačica Lige prvaka u kojoj svaki klub svake sezone mora zaslužiti svoje mjesto.
