Kamerunska vlada u utorak je objavila kako je broj poginulih u stampedu navijača uoči utakmice osmine finala Afričkog kupa nacija između Kameruna i Komora na stadionu Olembe u Yaoundeu narastao na najmanje osam uz 38 ozlijeđenih.

Prema prvotnim izvještajima, javljeno je kako je najmanje šestero osoba smrtno stradalo, no strahovalo se kako bi broj poginulih mogao biti i veći što se nažalost i potvrdilo.

Slike podijeljene na društvenim mrežama pokazuju naguravanje i vrištanje navijača na ulazu u stadion.

Afrički nogometni savez (CAF) u priopćenju je potvrdio kako je upoznat s incidentom na stadionu.

"CAF trenutno provodi istragu i pokušava doći do novih detalja o događaju. Kontinuirano komuniciramo s kamerunskom vladom i lokalnim organizacijskim odborom", stoji u priopćenju.

Nakon niskog odaziva tijekom prvog kruga utakmica na novim stadionima sagrađenima za najvažniji afrički nogometni turnir, kojemu je Kamerun domaćin po prvi puta od 1972., kamerunske su vlasti otvorile vrata stadiona, organizirale masovni prijevoz te, kako bi privukle navijače, dijelile besplatne karte.

Kapacitet stadiona u Yaoundeu trebao je biti ograničen na 48.000, a na utakmicu uoči koje je došlo do stampeda ušlo je više od 50.000 ljudi.

Kamerunska vlada u utorak je objavila kako je broj poginulih u stampedu navijača uoči utakmice osmine finala Afričkog kupa nacija između Kameruna i Komora na stadionu Olembe u Yaoundeu narastao na najmanje osam uz 38 ozlijeđenih.

Prema prvotnim izvještajima, javljeno je kako je najmanje šestero osoba smrtno stradalo, no strahovalo se kako bi broj poginulih mogao biti i veći što se nažalost i potvrdilo.

Slike podijeljene na društvenim mrežama pokazuju naguravanje i vrištanje navijača na ulazu u stadion.

Afrički nogometni savez (CAF) u priopćenju je potvrdio kako je upoznat s incidentom na stadionu.

"CAF trenutno provodi istragu i pokušava doći do novih detalja o događaju. Kontinuirano komuniciramo s kamerunskom vladom i lokalnim organizacijskim odborom", stoji u priopćenju.

Nakon niskog odaziva tijekom prvog kruga utakmica na novim stadionima sagrađenima za najvažniji afrički nogometni turnir, kojemu je Kamerun domaćin po prvi puta od 1972., kamerunske su vlasti otvorile vrata stadiona, organizirale masovni prijevoz te, kako bi privukle navijače, dijelile besplatne karte.

Kapacitet stadiona u Yaoundeu trebao je biti ograničen na 48.000, a na utakmicu uoči koje je došlo do stampeda ušlo je više od 50.000 ljudi.

Narastao broj poginulih u stampedu navijača uoči utakmice osmine finala Afričkog kupa u Kamerunu

Kamerunska vlada u utorak je objavila kako je broj poginulih u stampedu navijača uoči utakmice osmine finala Afričkog kupa nacija između Kameruna i Komora na stadionu Olembe u Yaoundeu narastao na najmanje osam uz 38 ozlijeđenih.

Prema prvotnim izvještajima, javljeno je kako je najmanje šestero osoba smrtno stradalo, no strahovalo se kako bi broj poginulih mogao biti i veći što se nažalost i potvrdilo.

Slike podijeljene na društvenim mrežama pokazuju naguravanje i vrištanje navijača na ulazu u stadion.

Afrički nogometni savez (CAF) u priopćenju je potvrdio kako je upoznat s incidentom na stadionu.
