Branko Ivanković (69) potvrđen je kao novi izbornik kineske nogometne reprezentacije. Na klupi će naslijediti Aleksandra Jankovića koji je smijenjen nakon lošeg nastupa na Azijskom Kupu na kojem Kinezi nisu uspjeli proći skupinu - pišu Sportske novosti.

"U cilju priprema za nadolazeće kvalifikacije za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026., Nogometni savez je nakon procjene stručnjaka odlučio angažirati Branka Ivankovića za novog glavnog izbornika muške reprezentacije Kine", navedeno je u kratkom priopćenju.

Ivanković je već radio u Kini, vodio je Shandong Taishan do pokala kineske Super lige 2010., tako da neće doći s previše nepoznanica. Kina će, inače, 70-godišnjem Ivankoviću biti treća reprezentacija koju će voditi u karijeri, nakon što je prethodno od 2002. do 2006. vodio Iran, a od 2020. do 2024. Oman.

Hrvatski trener bi na klupi trebao debitirati u ožujku, kada će Kina igrati protiv Singapura u kvalifikacijama za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026. Kinezi su trenutno trećeplasirana momčad u svojoj kvalifikacijskoj skupini s tri osvojena boda nakon dva odigrana kola iza Južne Koreje i Tajlanda, a ispred nominalno najslabije momčadi u skupini Singapura. Samo plasman na prva dva mjesta u skupini osigurava iduću rundu kvalifikacija.

Agence France Presse piše da se Ivankovićevo imenovanje za izbornika događa u delikatnom trenutku za kineski nogomet, s obzirom na to da je prije dva dana bivši izbornik Li Tie osuđen na doživotnu kaznu zatvora zbog sudjelovanja u namještanju utakmica u nižim ligama.

Branko Ivanković (69) potvrđen je kao novi izbornik kineske nogometne reprezentacije. Na klupi će naslijediti Aleksandra Jankovića koji je smijenjen nakon lošeg nastupa na Azijskom Kupu na kojem Kinezi nisu uspjeli proći skupinu - pišu Sportske novosti.

"U cilju priprema za nadolazeće kvalifikacije za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026., Nogometni savez je nakon procjene stručnjaka odlučio angažirati Branka Ivankovića za novog glavnog izbornika muške reprezentacije Kine", navedeno je u kratkom priopćenju.

Ivanković je već radio u Kini, vodio je Shandong Taishan do pokala kineske Super lige 2010., tako da neće doći s previše nepoznanica. Kina će, inače, 70-godišnjem Ivankoviću biti treća reprezentacija koju će voditi u karijeri, nakon što je prethodno od 2002. do 2006. vodio Iran, a od 2020. do 2024. Oman.

Hrvatski trener bi na klupi trebao debitirati u ožujku, kada će Kina igrati protiv Singapura u kvalifikacijama za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026. Kinezi su trenutno trećeplasirana momčad u svojoj kvalifikacijskoj skupini s tri osvojena boda nakon dva odigrana kola iza Južne Koreje i Tajlanda, a ispred nominalno najslabije momčadi u skupini Singapura. Samo plasman na prva dva mjesta u skupini osigurava iduću rundu kvalifikacija.

Agence France Presse piše da se Ivankovićevo imenovanje za izbornika događa u delikatnom trenutku za kineski nogomet, s obzirom na to da je prije dva dana bivši izbornik Li Tie osuđen na doživotnu kaznu zatvora zbog sudjelovanja u namještanju utakmica u nižim ligama.

Hrvat imenovan novim izbornikom u delikatnom trenutku za kineski nogomet

Branko Ivanković (69) potvrđen je kao novi izbornik kineske nogometne reprezentacije. Na klupi će naslijediti Aleksandra Jankovića koji je smijenjen nakon lošeg nastupa na Azijskom Kupu na kojem Kinezi nisu uspjeli proći skupinu - pišu Sportske novosti.

"U cilju priprema za nadolazeće kvalifikacije za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026., Nogometni savez je nakon procjene stručnjaka odlučio angažirati Branka Ivankovića za novog glavnog izbornika muške reprezentacije Kine", navedeno je u kratkom priopćenju.

Ivanković je već radio u Kini, vodio je Shandong Taishan do pokala kineske Super lige 2010., tako da neće doći s previše nepoznanica. Kina će, inače, 70-godišnjem Ivankoviću biti treća reprezentacija koju će voditi u karijeri, nakon što je prethodno od 2002. do 2006. vodio Iran, a od 2020. do 2024. Oman.

Hrvatski trener bi na klupi trebao debitirati u ožujku, kada će Kina igrati protiv Singapura u kvalifikacijama za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026. Kinezi su trenutno trećeplasirana momčad u svojoj kvalifikacijskoj skupini s tri osvojena boda nakon dva odigrana kola iza Južne Koreje i Tajlanda, a ispred nominalno najslabije momčadi u skupini Singapura. Samo plasman na prva dva mjesta u skupini osigurava iduću rundu kvalifikacija.

Agence France Presse piše da se Ivankovićevo imenovanje za izbornika događa u delikatnom trenutku za kineski nogomet, s obzirom na to da je prije dva dana bivši izbornik Li Tie osuđen na doživotnu kaznu zatvora zbog sudjelovanja u namještanju utakmica u nižim ligama.
