Švicarski Blick objavio je jednu od najljepših sportskih priča godine koju prenose gotovo svi svjetski mediji. Bivši nogometni sudac Babak Rafati otkrio je ovome dnevnom listu potresnu epizodu iz svoga života, u kojoj je glavnu ulogu odigrao veznjak Manchester Uniteda Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Njemački sudac iranskog porijekla trebao je 19. studenog 2011. godine suditi bundesligaški dvoboj  između Kölna i Mainza, ali utakmica nikad nije odigrana. U trenucima dok su se igrači pripremali za početak susreta, Rafati je u svojoj hotelskoj sobi pokušao samoubojstvo, a spašen je u posljednji tren.

"Probudio sam se u bolničkom krevetu. Bio je to stravičan trenutak, u prvi mah sam pomislio kako nisam uspio i kako moram pokušati ponovno, ali ovoga puta posao odraditi kako treba. Bio sam žrtva maltretiranja punih godinu i pol dana, željeli su me se riješiti, patio sam do depresije... Nakon pokušaja samoubojstva nije mi se javio nitko iz njemačkog nogometnog saveza, ali sve moje kolege su mi pružile podršku", ispričao je Rafati i otkrio kako ga je od novog pokušaja samoubojstva odgovorilo pismo Bastiana Scweinsteigera, tada kapetana Bayerna, ali i potpunog stranca u njegovu privatnom životu.

"Bastian Schweinsteiger mi je napisao pismo koje me je pogodilo ravno u srce. On u tom trenutku nije to morao napraviti, nije imao nikakav osobni interes u cijeloj priči, ja se i tako nakon incidenta nisam mogao vratiti suđenju. Napisao mi je: 'Gospodine Rafati, ljudi u životu često rade greške, ali u takvim teškim trenucima mi jednostavno moramo biti jači i napraviti preokret u sebi, vratiti se koliko god puta trebalo. Želim vam sve najbolje'. Bila je to nevjerojatna ljudska gesta s njegove strane", ispričao je 46-godišnji sudac, očito duboko dirnut takvom dobrotom od strane čovjeka koji je ujedno i zvijezda, ali za njega privatno i potpuni stranac.

"Nakon toga više nikad nisam pomislio na samoubojstvo. Znam da je sve to bila jedna ludost, i da je život predragocjen da bi se tako odbacio".

Švicarski Blick objavio je jednu od najljepših sportskih priča godine koju prenose gotovo svi svjetski mediji. Bivši nogometni sudac Babak Rafati otkrio je ovome dnevnom listu potresnu epizodu iz svoga života, u kojoj je glavnu ulogu odigrao veznjak Manchester Uniteda Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Njemački sudac iranskog porijekla trebao je 19. studenog 2011. godine suditi bundesligaški dvoboj  između Kölna i Mainza, ali utakmica nikad nije odigrana. U trenucima dok su se igrači pripremali za početak susreta, Rafati je u svojoj hotelskoj sobi pokušao samoubojstvo, a spašen je u posljednji tren.

"Probudio sam se u bolničkom krevetu. Bio je to stravičan trenutak, u prvi mah sam pomislio kako nisam uspio i kako moram pokušati ponovno, ali ovoga puta posao odraditi kako treba. Bio sam žrtva maltretiranja punih godinu i pol dana, željeli su me se riješiti, patio sam do depresije... Nakon pokušaja samoubojstva nije mi se javio nitko iz njemačkog nogometnog saveza, ali sve moje kolege su mi pružile podršku", ispričao je Rafati i otkrio kako ga je od novog pokušaja samoubojstva odgovorilo pismo Bastiana Scweinsteigera, tada kapetana Bayerna, ali i potpunog stranca u njegovu privatnom životu.

"Bastian Schweinsteiger mi je napisao pismo koje me je pogodilo ravno u srce. On u tom trenutku nije to morao napraviti, nije imao nikakav osobni interes u cijeloj priči, ja se i tako nakon incidenta nisam mogao vratiti suđenju. Napisao mi je: 'Gospodine Rafati, ljudi u životu često rade greške, ali u takvim teškim trenucima mi jednostavno moramo biti jači i napraviti preokret u sebi, vratiti se koliko god puta trebalo. Želim vam sve najbolje'. Bila je to nevjerojatna ljudska gesta s njegove strane", ispričao je 46-godišnji sudac, očito duboko dirnut takvom dobrotom od strane čovjeka koji je ujedno i zvijezda, ali za njega privatno i potpuni stranac.

"Nakon toga više nikad nisam pomislio na samoubojstvo. Znam da je sve to bila jedna ludost, i da je život predragocjen da bi se tako odbacio".
