Slovenski rukometni savez (RZS) osudio je u ponedjeljak organizaciju Svjetskog prvenstva rukometaša u Egiptu, koje smatra "nedostojnim" nakon što je 12 slovenskih igrača bilo žrtva trovanja hranom na dan odlučujuće utakmice protiv zemlje domaćina.

"Imali smo mnogo zdravstvenih problema tijekom noći i na dan utakmice sa Egiptom. Iz tog razloga ne možemo biti zadovoljni organizacijom ovogodišnjeg Svjetskog prvenstva", kazao je glavni tajnik Saveza Goran Cvijić. 

Od 12 igrača koji su oimali tegobe njih čak devetoro njih je igralo jučerašnju utakmicu sa Egiptom, koja je završila rezultatom 25:25, što je bilo dovoljno da se Egipat plasira u četvrtfinale, a Slovenija se oprostila od natjecanja. 

Srednji branič Stas Skube, krilni igrač Dragan Gajić i pivot Blaž Blagotinšek, sva trojica ključnih igrača u sastavu Slovenije, nisu se uspjeli oporaviti na vrijeme za presudnu utakmicu.

"Igrači su vrištali od boli, povraćali i jurili prema toaletu tijekom cijele noći.  Stas Skube i Dragan Gajić su pali su iz kreveta , a neposredno prije meča, Blaž Blagotinšek, najviši i najjači od svih, srušio se u svlačionici i povraćao, pa je morao biti vraćen u hotel", tvrde Slovenci. 

Slovenci su boravili u istom hotelu kao i Egipat, Danska, Švedska i većina ostalih ekipa, a hotel je smješteniu središnjem Kairu, koji su organizatori pretvorili u "izolacjijski balon" zbog pandemije Covid-19. U ovoj bivšoj palači iz 19. stoljeća momčadi dijele blagovaonicu, ali svaka ima odvojeni prostor za objed i posebni švedski stol.

"Nakon utakmice i službenog izvještaja o zdravstvenom stanju igrača, egipatsko Ministarstvo zdravlja kontaktiralo nas je", objavio je Slovenski rukometni savez, koji ne očekuje "značajne promjene sve dok Međunarodni rukometni savez (IHF) radi onako kako radi ".

Problema s želučanim tegobama i trovanjem hranom imale su i Hrvatska i Norveška, te još neke europske reprezentacije.

Slovenski rukometni savez (RZS) osudio je u ponedjeljak organizaciju Svjetskog prvenstva rukometaša u Egiptu, koje smatra "nedostojnim" nakon što je 12 slovenskih igrača bilo žrtva trovanja hranom na dan odlučujuće utakmice protiv zemlje domaćina.

"Imali smo mnogo zdravstvenih problema tijekom noći i na dan utakmice sa Egiptom. Iz tog razloga ne možemo biti zadovoljni organizacijom ovogodišnjeg Svjetskog prvenstva", kazao je glavni tajnik Saveza Goran Cvijić. 

Od 12 igrača koji su oimali tegobe njih čak devetoro njih je igralo jučerašnju utakmicu sa Egiptom, koja je završila rezultatom 25:25, što je bilo dovoljno da se Egipat plasira u četvrtfinale, a Slovenija se oprostila od natjecanja. 

Srednji branič Stas Skube, krilni igrač Dragan Gajić i pivot Blaž Blagotinšek, sva trojica ključnih igrača u sastavu Slovenije, nisu se uspjeli oporaviti na vrijeme za presudnu utakmicu.

"Igrači su vrištali od boli, povraćali i jurili prema toaletu tijekom cijele noći.  Stas Skube i Dragan Gajić su pali su iz kreveta , a neposredno prije meča, Blaž Blagotinšek, najviši i najjači od svih, srušio se u svlačionici i povraćao, pa je morao biti vraćen u hotel", tvrde Slovenci. 

Slovenci su boravili u istom hotelu kao i Egipat, Danska, Švedska i većina ostalih ekipa, a hotel je smješteniu središnjem Kairu, koji su organizatori pretvorili u "izolacjijski balon" zbog pandemije Covid-19. U ovoj bivšoj palači iz 19. stoljeća momčadi dijele blagovaonicu, ali svaka ima odvojeni prostor za objed i posebni švedski stol.

"Nakon utakmice i službenog izvještaja o zdravstvenom stanju igrača, egipatsko Ministarstvo zdravlja kontaktiralo nas je", objavio je Slovenski rukometni savez, koji ne očekuje "značajne promjene sve dok Međunarodni rukometni savez (IHF) radi onako kako radi ".

Problema s želučanim tegobama i trovanjem hranom imale su i Hrvatska i Norveška, te još neke europske reprezentacije.

Slovenski rukometni savez (RZS) osudio je u ponedjeljak organizaciju Svjetskog prvenstva rukometaša u Egiptu, koje smatra "nedostojnim" nakon što je 12 slovenskih igrača bilo žrtva trovanja hranom na dan odlučujuće utakmice protiv zemlje domaćina.

"Imali smo mnogo zdravstvenih problema tijekom noći i na dan utakmice sa Egiptom. Iz tog razloga ne možemo biti zadovoljni organizacijom ovogodišnjeg Svjetskog prvenstva", kazao je glavni tajnik Saveza Goran Cvijić. 

Od 12 igrača koji su oimali tegobe njih čak devetoro njih je igralo jučerašnju utakmicu sa Egiptom, koja je završila rezultatom 25:25, što je bilo dovoljno da se Egipat plasira u četvrtfinale, a Slovenija se oprostila od natjecanja.
