Dan nakon Austrije nismo dobili konačni odgovor - zašto? Očito, morat ćemo pričekati rasplet protiv Rumunjske da bismo znali kakav smo posao napravili u prvom krugu Eura u Mannheimu. Zbunjeni su bili svi, u najmanju ruku - pišu Sportske novosti.

- Totalni kontrast u odnosu na Španjolsku. Počeli smo odlično, imali smo sve, tranziciju, obranu, trku, sve je izgledalo super, iako smo fulali neke šanse koje nismo trebali. Problem je bio da u obrani nismo bili čvrsti prema njihovoj desnoj strani u napadu gdje su bili Živković i posebno Weber. Imao sam osjećaj da nismo imali ni tečnost kao protiv Španjolske, stalno smo bili u nekom polufaulu i iz toga su dolazili neki ishitreni šutovi. Nisam ljubitelj statistike ali ako kažem da su naši srednjaci imali 3/7, da su lijevi bekovi imali 2 /10 to govori da koncentracija nije bila na visini i to je osnovni razlog da nismo dobili Austriju - počeo je izbornik Goran Perkovac.

Ipak, još uvijek držimo sve u svojim rukama?

- Možemo biti prvi u skupini dobijemo li Rumunjsku. Španjolskoj se ne može dogoditi kiks dva puta i poznato je da oni utakmice protiv tzv. slabijih momčadi lako rješavaju. Kod nas je obrnuto, mi bolje igrati protiv jačih, protiv slabijih uvijek imamo problema. Izabrali smo teži put, malo smo si zakomplicirali, ali mislim da imamo sve pod kontrolom.

Osim što smo ostali bez Ivana Martinovića?

- Martinovića smo izgubili na nekoliko mjeseci, morat će na operaciju zbog ozljede klavikule.

Pozivate li nekoga ili?

- Ne zovemo nikoga, ja vjerujem u ove koji su ovdje. Dat ću puno povjerenje Marašu koji je s nama od početka.

Rumunji su dvije utakmice lagano izgubili, ali mi protiv Austrije nismo djelovali kao da nam to nešto znači?

- Protiv Austrije su Rumunji igrali dobro, ali promašili su puno, previše im je Mostl obranio. U obrani igraju do grubosti, tu treba biti oprezan. Ne smiju im se davati lopte u ruke, to znaju kazniti. Imaju jako dobrog vratara, ali ja nemam strah jer mislim da smo bolji od njih i da će naši momci to odraditi dobro i vratiti se na dobar put.

Španjolac je na klupi Rumunjske, a Španjolci čekaju naš kiks?

- Xavi je na klupi, on je Španjolaca i sigurno bi mu bilo draže da Španjolska bude ispred nas. No, mi ćemo se potruditi da tako ne bude.

Plan za Rumunjsku?

- Ajmo igrati dobru obranu, pa ćemo onda imati i vratare. Moramo jače igrati u obrani, ne gubiti duele jedan na jedan i to nas može jako podići. Zašto smo prestali trčati nakon 5:1, to ni meni nije jasno. Igrati cijelu utakmicu jedan na jedan je rudarenje, teško, a jako puno umara. To si nismo trebali priuštiti.

Razmišljate li od drugom krugu?

- Naravno, iako je prioritet Rumunjska. Najgore je igrati zadnju odlučujuću s Nijemcima u Kölnu, jer svi znamo koliko je to teško. Fascinantno je da Farski otoci, Švicarska, evo i mi pokazujemo da smo ranjivi, da još nismo na najboljoj razini i u drugom krugu gdje su svi protivnici jaki nema nemogućih rezultata. To je situacija koja nam odgovara u kojoj se bolje snalazimo nego kada je sve opuštenije.

Ima i novosti u timu?

- Priključuje nam se Dominik Kuzmanović. Kuzma je naša orijentacija za budućnost s Mandićem za narednih 10-15 godina. Uložio je puno u pripreme i zaslužio je biti ovdje, a vidjet ćemo s igranjem u vremenu koje dolazi - zaključio je Perkovac.

Ivan Martinović je, dakle, završio s Eurom. Teško je ozlijeđen u drugom dijelu susreta protiv Austrije. Ništa nije slutilo na tešku ozljedu, ali pad je očito nakon jedne akcije bio loš. Svi se ponadali da će biti dobro, ali kada je Robert Weber pozvao liječnike bilo je jasno da nešto nije u redu. Izašao je s bolnom grimasom, odmah završio na pregledu u Heidelbergu i konstatirana je ozljeda klavikule, zbog koje će morati na operativni zahvat i neće ga biti na terenima sljedeća tri mjeseca što je problem i za njegov klub Melsungen.

Umjesto njega ulazi u tim Mateo Maraš koji je bio naš najbolji igrač u kvalifikacijama za Euro. Maraš je na startu bio prekobrojan, ali je od početka tu, zdrav, u formi koja je i u mađarskoj Tatabanyji gdje igra bila OK.

Dan nakon Austrije nismo dobili konačni odgovor - zašto? Očito, morat ćemo pričekati rasplet protiv Rumunjske da bismo znali kakav smo posao napravili u prvom krugu Eura u Mannheimu. Zbunjeni su bili svi, u najmanju ruku - pišu Sportske novosti.

- Totalni kontrast u odnosu na Španjolsku. Počeli smo odlično, imali smo sve, tranziciju, obranu, trku, sve je izgledalo super, iako smo fulali neke šanse koje nismo trebali. Problem je bio da u obrani nismo bili čvrsti prema njihovoj desnoj strani u napadu gdje su bili Živković i posebno Weber. Imao sam osjećaj da nismo imali ni tečnost kao protiv Španjolske, stalno smo bili u nekom polufaulu i iz toga su dolazili neki ishitreni šutovi. Nisam ljubitelj statistike ali ako kažem da su naši srednjaci imali 3/7, da su lijevi bekovi imali 2 /10 to govori da koncentracija nije bila na visini i to je osnovni razlog da nismo dobili Austriju - počeo je izbornik Goran Perkovac.

Ipak, još uvijek držimo sve u svojim rukama?

- Možemo biti prvi u skupini dobijemo li Rumunjsku. Španjolskoj se ne može dogoditi kiks dva puta i poznato je da oni utakmice protiv tzv. slabijih momčadi lako rješavaju. Kod nas je obrnuto, mi bolje igrati protiv jačih, protiv slabijih uvijek imamo problema. Izabrali smo teži put, malo smo si zakomplicirali, ali mislim da imamo sve pod kontrolom.

Osim što smo ostali bez Ivana Martinovića?

- Martinovića smo izgubili na nekoliko mjeseci, morat će na operaciju zbog ozljede klavikule.

Pozivate li nekoga ili?

- Ne zovemo nikoga, ja vjerujem u ove koji su ovdje. Dat ću puno povjerenje Marašu koji je s nama od početka.

Rumunji su dvije utakmice lagano izgubili, ali mi protiv Austrije nismo djelovali kao da nam to nešto znači?

- Protiv Austrije su Rumunji igrali dobro, ali promašili su puno, previše im je Mostl obranio. U obrani igraju do grubosti, tu treba biti oprezan. Ne smiju im se davati lopte u ruke, to znaju kazniti. Imaju jako dobrog vratara, ali ja nemam strah jer mislim da smo bolji od njih i da će naši momci to odraditi dobro i vratiti se na dobar put.

Španjolac je na klupi Rumunjske, a Španjolci čekaju naš kiks?

- Xavi je na klupi, on je Španjolaca i sigurno bi mu bilo draže da Španjolska bude ispred nas. No, mi ćemo se potruditi da tako ne bude.

Plan za Rumunjsku?

- Ajmo igrati dobru obranu, pa ćemo onda imati i vratare. Moramo jače igrati u obrani, ne gubiti duele jedan na jedan i to nas može jako podići. Zašto smo prestali trčati nakon 5:1, to ni meni nije jasno. Igrati cijelu utakmicu jedan na jedan je rudarenje, teško, a jako puno umara. To si nismo trebali priuštiti.

Razmišljate li od drugom krugu?

- Naravno, iako je prioritet Rumunjska. Najgore je igrati zadnju odlučujuću s Nijemcima u Kölnu, jer svi znamo koliko je to teško. Fascinantno je da Farski otoci, Švicarska, evo i mi pokazujemo da smo ranjivi, da još nismo na najboljoj razini i u drugom krugu gdje su svi protivnici jaki nema nemogućih rezultata. To je situacija koja nam odgovara u kojoj se bolje snalazimo nego kada je sve opuštenije.

Ima i novosti u timu?

- Priključuje nam se Dominik Kuzmanović. Kuzma je naša orijentacija za budućnost s Mandićem za narednih 10-15 godina. Uložio je puno u pripreme i zaslužio je biti ovdje, a vidjet ćemo s igranjem u vremenu koje dolazi - zaključio je Perkovac.

Ivan Martinović je, dakle, završio s Eurom. Teško je ozlijeđen u drugom dijelu susreta protiv Austrije. Ništa nije slutilo na tešku ozljedu, ali pad je očito nakon jedne akcije bio loš. Svi se ponadali da će biti dobro, ali kada je Robert Weber pozvao liječnike bilo je jasno da nešto nije u redu. Izašao je s bolnom grimasom, odmah završio na pregledu u Heidelbergu i konstatirana je ozljeda klavikule, zbog koje će morati na operativni zahvat i neće ga biti na terenima sljedeća tri mjeseca što je problem i za njegov klub Melsungen.

Umjesto njega ulazi u tim Mateo Maraš koji je bio naš najbolji igrač u kvalifikacijama za Euro. Maraš je na startu bio prekobrojan, ali je od početka tu, zdrav, u formi koja je i u mađarskoj Tatabanyji gdje igra bila OK.
