Ukupno 29 biciklista, među kojima i lider utrke Rus Aleksandar Vlasov, odustalo je od daljnjeg nastupa na biciklističkoj utrci Tour de Suisse zbog brojnih slučajeva Covid-19.

Cijela ekipa Jumbo-Visme povukla se u četvrtak nakon što su se u njihovim redovima pojavila četiri slučaja COVID-19, a pridružili su im se UAE Team Emirates, Bahrain Victorious i Alpecin-Fenix ​​u petak ujutro.

Niti ostale ekipe nisu pošteđene, a od nastup je odustao i dosadašnji lider Vlasov član Bora-Hansgrohea.

Ukupno je 29 biciklista odustalo, a u pelotonu su ostala 93 natjecatelja.

Direktor utrke Tour de Suisse rekao je da je preostalih 18 timova spremno nastaviti unatoč riziku od pojave novih slučajeva. Međutim, odluka o tome hoće li se utrka nastaviti donosit će se svakog jutra nakon daljnjih testiranja na COVID-19.

"Procijenili smo i razgovarali o situaciji. Očito nije lijepo i jako smo tužni što se korona širi unutar timova", rekao je direktor Oliver Senn.

Brojne infekcije su izazvale veliku zabrinutost unutar timova uoči početka Tour de Francea koji ove godine počinje u Kopenhagenu 1. srpnja.

Ukupno 29 biciklista, među kojima i lider utrke Rus Aleksandar Vlasov, odustalo je od daljnjeg nastupa na biciklističkoj utrci Tour de Suisse zbog brojnih slučajeva Covid-19.

Cijela ekipa Jumbo-Visme povukla se u četvrtak nakon što su se u njihovim redovima pojavila četiri slučaja COVID-19, a pridružili su im se UAE Team Emirates, Bahrain Victorious i Alpecin-Fenix ​​u petak ujutro.

Niti ostale ekipe nisu pošteđene, a od nastup je odustao i dosadašnji lider Vlasov član Bora-Hansgrohea.

Ukupno je 29 biciklista odustalo, a u pelotonu su ostala 93 natjecatelja.

Direktor utrke Tour de Suisse rekao je da je preostalih 18 timova spremno nastaviti unatoč riziku od pojave novih slučajeva. Međutim, odluka o tome hoće li se utrka nastaviti donosit će se svakog jutra nakon daljnjih testiranja na COVID-19.

"Procijenili smo i razgovarali o situaciji. Očito nije lijepo i jako smo tužni što se korona širi unutar timova", rekao je direktor Oliver Senn.

Brojne infekcije su izazvale veliku zabrinutost unutar timova uoči početka Tour de Francea koji ove godine počinje u Kopenhagenu 1. srpnja.

Ukupno 29 biciklista, među kojima i lider utrke Rus Aleksandar Vlasov, odustalo je od daljnjeg nastupa na biciklističkoj utrci Tour de Suisse zbog brojnih slučajeva Covid-19.

Cijela ekipa Jumbo-Visme povukla se u četvrtak nakon što su se u njihovim redovima pojavila četiri slučaja COVID-19, a pridružili su im se UAE Team Emirates, Bahrain Victorious i Alpecin-Fenix ​​u petak ujutro.

Niti ostale ekipe nisu pošteđene, a od nastup je odustao i dosadašnji lider Vlasov član Bora-Hansgrohea.

Ukupno je 29 biciklista odustalo, a u pelotonu su ostala 93 natjecatelja.
