Unatoč naporima organizatora i djelatnika Skijališta Sljeme uloženih u pripremu Crvenog spusta za održavanje druge slalomske utrke Audi FIS Svjetskog skijaškog kupa „Snow Queen Trophy“ 2023., ona je u četvrtak otkazana zbog nepovoljnih vremenskih uvjeta.

"Posebno sam ponosan što smo jučer uspjeli isporučiti vrlo dobru utrku u nemogućim uvjetima. U cijeloj srednjoj Europi je zadnjih 15-ak dana toplo vrijeme, zadnja noć s minusom u Zagrebu bila je 19. prosinca. Ono čega sam se pribojavao zadnjih dana je bila upravo ova noć s 4. na 5. siječnja. Da je noćas bila vedra noć, da je bilo nula stupnjeva ili par stupnjeva iznad nule u vedrim ivjetima, ne bismo imali problema. Snijeg je bio načet jugozapadnim vjetrom, nije bila vedra noć i staza nije izdržala. Problem je bio na ciljnoj livadi, gdje smo na tri ili četiri vrata izgubili pet do deset centimetara“, rekao je Vedran Pavlek, direktor Organizacijskog odbora.

On je kazao kako je sigurnost skijašica bila prioritet te nije htio riskirati.

"Vjerujem da smo dokazali i ove godine kako i u nemogućim uvjetima možemo isporučiti vrlo dobru utrku. Pogledajte samo izjavu Mikaele Shiffrin o jučerašnjoj utrci, ona najviše govori kakav je nevjerojatan posao odrađen jučer i na tome zahvaljujem svima koji su u tome sudjelovali“.

Komentirajući razloge otkazivanja utrke, glavni direktor utrka FIS Svjetskoga kupa za žene Peter Gerdol je izjavio:

"U posljednja dva tjedna vrijeme nam nije pomoglo, temperature se nisu spustile ispod nule. Jučer smo imali veoma dobru utrku, ali nažalost vjetar i temperatura su uništili zadnji dio staze te nije bilo moguće održati utrku u takvim uvjetima.“ Gerdol je naglasio kako su nepovoljni vremenski uvjeti prisutni diljem Europe te kako uvjeti na Sljemenu nisu izoliran slučaj:

"Ove godine imamo probleme posvuda u Europi, imamo iste izazove s vremenom i Sljeme nije specifično u tom pogledu. Ovo se događa gotovo svuda“, kazao je Gerdol.

Gledateljima koji su kupili ulaznice za današnju utrku mogu ostvariti povrat novca u iznosu cijene navedene na ulaznici za drugu utrku pod uvjetima označenima na poleđini odnosno na prodajnom mjestu na kojem je ulaznica kupljena te pod uvjetom da ulaznica bude vraćena u roku od najkasnije 15 dana od 5. siječnja.

Unatoč naporima organizatora i djelatnika Skijališta Sljeme uloženih u pripremu Crvenog spusta za održavanje druge slalomske utrke Audi FIS Svjetskog skijaškog kupa „Snow Queen Trophy“ 2023., ona je u četvrtak otkazana zbog nepovoljnih vremenskih uvjeta.

"Posebno sam ponosan što smo jučer uspjeli isporučiti vrlo dobru utrku u nemogućim uvjetima. U cijeloj srednjoj Europi je zadnjih 15-ak dana toplo vrijeme, zadnja noć s minusom u Zagrebu bila je 19. prosinca. Ono čega sam se pribojavao zadnjih dana je bila upravo ova noć s 4. na 5. siječnja. Da je noćas bila vedra noć, da je bilo nula stupnjeva ili par stupnjeva iznad nule u vedrim ivjetima, ne bismo imali problema. Snijeg je bio načet jugozapadnim vjetrom, nije bila vedra noć i staza nije izdržala. Problem je bio na ciljnoj livadi, gdje smo na tri ili četiri vrata izgubili pet do deset centimetara“, rekao je Vedran Pavlek, direktor Organizacijskog odbora.

On je kazao kako je sigurnost skijašica bila prioritet te nije htio riskirati.

"Vjerujem da smo dokazali i ove godine kako i u nemogućim uvjetima možemo isporučiti vrlo dobru utrku. Pogledajte samo izjavu Mikaele Shiffrin o jučerašnjoj utrci, ona najviše govori kakav je nevjerojatan posao odrađen jučer i na tome zahvaljujem svima koji su u tome sudjelovali“.

Komentirajući razloge otkazivanja utrke, glavni direktor utrka FIS Svjetskoga kupa za žene Peter Gerdol je izjavio:

"U posljednja dva tjedna vrijeme nam nije pomoglo, temperature se nisu spustile ispod nule. Jučer smo imali veoma dobru utrku, ali nažalost vjetar i temperatura su uništili zadnji dio staze te nije bilo moguće održati utrku u takvim uvjetima.“ Gerdol je naglasio kako su nepovoljni vremenski uvjeti prisutni diljem Europe te kako uvjeti na Sljemenu nisu izoliran slučaj:

"Ove godine imamo probleme posvuda u Europi, imamo iste izazove s vremenom i Sljeme nije specifično u tom pogledu. Ovo se događa gotovo svuda“, kazao je Gerdol.

Unatoč naporima organizatora i djelatnika Skijališta Sljeme uloženih u pripremu Crvenog spusta za održavanje druge slalomske utrke Audi FIS Svjetskog skijaškog kupa „Snow Queen Trophy“ 2023., ona je u četvrtak otkazana zbog nepovoljnih vremenskih uvjeta.

"Posebno sam ponosan što smo jučer uspjeli isporučiti vrlo dobru utrku u nemogućim uvjetima. U cijeloj srednjoj Europi je zadnjih 15-ak dana toplo vrijeme, zadnja noć s minusom u Zagrebu bila je 19. prosinca. Ono čega sam se pribojavao zadnjih dana je bila upravo ova noć s 4. na 5. siječnja. Da je noćas bila vedra noć, da je bilo nula stupnjeva ili par stupnjeva iznad nule u vedrim ivjetima, ne bismo imali problema. Snijeg je bio načet jugozapadnim vjetrom, nije bila vedra noć i staza nije izdržala. Problem je bio na ciljnoj li...
