Salvadorska surferica Katherine Diaz (22) poginula je nakon što ju je udarila munja tijekom treninga za nastup na kvalifikacijama za odlazak na Olimpijske igre u Tokiju.

Nesretnu je surfericu pogodila munja neposredno nakon ulaska u vodu.

"Katherine je utjelovljivala veselje i energiju koje čini surfanje toliko dragim svima nama", objavila je Međunarodni surferski savez (ISA).

Upravo će Salvador biti domaćin Svjetskih surferskih igara koje će se održati od 29. svibnja do 6. lipnja, a s kojih će sedam najboljeplasiranih surferica koje još nisu osigurale nastup na OI izboriti odlazak u Tokio gdje će surfanje po prvi put biti u programu Igara.

Salvadorska surferica Katherine Diaz (22) poginula je nakon što ju je udarila munja tijekom treninga za nastup na kvalifikacijama za odlazak na Olimpijske igre u Tokiju.

Nesretnu je surfericu pogodila munja neposredno nakon ulaska u vodu.

"Katherine je utjelovljivala veselje i energiju koje čini surfanje toliko dragim svima nama", objavila je Međunarodni surferski savez (ISA).

Upravo će Salvador biti domaćin Svjetskih surferskih igara koje će se održati od 29. svibnja do 6. lipnja, a s kojih će sedam najboljeplasiranih surferica koje još nisu osigurale nastup na OI izboriti odlazak u Tokio gdje će surfanje po prvi put biti u programu Igara.

Tragedija u Salvadoru: nesretnu surfericu pogodila munja neposredno nakon ulaska u vodu

Salvadorska surferica Katherine Diaz (22) poginula je nakon što ju je udarila munja tijekom treninga za nastup na kvalifikacijama za odlazak na Olimpijske igre u Tokiju.

Nesretnu je surfericu pogodila munja neposredno nakon ulaska u vodu.

"Katherine je utjelovljivala veselje i energiju koje čini surfanje toliko dragim svima nama", objavila je Međunarodni surferski savez (ISA).

Upravo će Salvador biti domaćin Svjetskih surferskih igara koje će se održati od 29. svibnja do 6. lipnja, a s kojih će sedam najboljeplasiranih surferica koje još nisu osigurale nastup na OI izboriti odlazak u Tokio gdje će surfanje po prvi put biti u programu Igara.
