Strani sudionik Paraolimpijskih igara u Tokiju hospitaliziran je s teškim simptomima COVID-19, objavio je Kyodo News pozivajući se na Organizacijski odbor Igara.

Prvi je to slučaj hospitalizacije nekog od sudionika POI u Tokiju koje su otvorene u utorak.

Međutim, za sada nema nikakvih drugih informacija i detalja niti je poznato radi li se o sportašu ili o nekom od članova delegacija.. 

Do sada je zabilježeno 16 slučajeva koronavirusa u Paraolimpijskom selu pri čemu dva sportaša, dok od 12. kolovoza ukupan broj slučajeva povezanih s POI sada iznosi 169, uključujući devet sportaša.

Iz Organizacijskog odbora su poručili kako će nastaviti tražiti stručne savjete o pojavi novih slučajeva COVID-19 u paraolimpijskom selu, ali i naglasili kako nema "koncentracije" slučajeva koronavirusa nakon što je otkriveno da su zaraženi pojedinci iz različitih sportova i nacija.

- Čini se da oni s pozitivnim slučajevima dolaze iz različitih sportova i različitih zemalja. Nastavit ćemo pomno pratiti situaciju i slušati savjete stručnjaka te nastojati medijima pružiti točne informacije. Prema podacima koje imamo nema koncentracije da postoji jedna država ili jedan sport - kazao je glasnogovornik Tokio 2020. Masa Takaya.

Ranije ovog tjedna, predsjednica Organizacijskog odbora Tokio 2020. Seiko Hashimoto potvrdila je da će pravila biti "još stroža" nego što su bila tijekom Olimpijskih igara u pokušaju da se zaštite sportaši na Paraolimpijskim igrama i izbjegne pogoršanje širenja COVID-19.

Dodajmo i kako je japanski savjetnik za COVID-19 kritizirao predsjednika Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomasa Bacha zbog ponovnog posjeta Tokiju kako bi prisustvovao svečanom otvaranju Paraolimpijskih igara, rekavši da je to u suprotnosti sa "zdravim razumom" uslijed alarmantnog porasta zaraze koronavirusom.

- Pitam se zašto se vratio. Trebao je koristiti zdravi razum - rekao je Shigeru Omi, predsjednik vladinog pododbora za odgovor na koronavirus.

Omi je doveo u pitanje obrazloženje iza Bachove odluke da ponovno otputuje u Tokio kako bi sudjelovao u događajima vezanim za Paraolimpijske igre, s obzirom da japanske vlasti pozivaju ljude da ostanu kod kuće i rade na daljinu kako bi pomogli u suzbijanju infekcije koronavirusom.

Od početka Olimpijskih igara 23. srpnja Tokio je u više navrata postavljao rekorde u dnevnim slučajevima zaraze COVID-19, a zdravstveni stručnjaci opisuju trenutnu situaciju na "razini katastrofe".

Tokio je u izvanrednom stanju od sredine srpnja, a opseg mjera proširen je na druga područja Japana, dok je zdravstveni sustav glavnog grada pod pritiskom zbog sve većeg broja ozbiljnih slučajeva COVID-19.

Bach je bio na udaru japanske javnosti i prije nego što u završile Olimpijske igre jer je snimljen u šetnji po prestižnoj tokijskoj trgovačkoj četvrti Ginza u pratnji tjelohranitelja, iako su se sportaši morali pridržavati strogih pravila COVID-19 i nije im bilo dopušteno razgledavanje.

Međunarodni paraolimpijski odbor (IPC) stao je u Bachovu obranu naglasivši kako Bachov posjet POI naglašava njegovu predanost paraolimpijskom pokretu, tvrdeći da odnos između dvije organizacije nikada nije bio bolji.

Tijekom tri dana Bach je na POI gledao košarku u kolicima, golbal, te plivanje.

- Bilo je sjajno što je prvi put vidio paraolimpijski sport. Zaista je važno da ljudi osobno dožive paraolimpijski sport i igre - kazao je glasnogovornik IPC-a Craig Spence.

Strani sudionik Paraolimpijskih igara u Tokiju hospitaliziran je s teškim simptomima COVID-19, objavio je Kyodo News pozivajući se na Organizacijski odbor Igara.

Prvi je to slučaj hospitalizacije nekog od sudionika POI u Tokiju koje su otvorene u utorak.

Međutim, za sada nema nikakvih drugih informacija i detalja niti je poznato radi li se o sportašu ili o nekom od članova delegacija.. 

Do sada je zabilježeno 16 slučajeva koronavirusa u Paraolimpijskom selu pri čemu dva sportaša, dok od 12. kolovoza ukupan broj slučajeva povezanih s POI sada iznosi 169, uključujući devet sportaša.

Iz Organizacijskog odbora su poručili kako će nastaviti tražiti stručne savjete o pojavi novih slučajeva COVID-19 u paraolimpijskom selu, ali i naglasili kako nema "koncentracije" slučajeva koronavirusa nakon što je otkriveno da su zaraženi pojedinci iz različitih sportova i nacija.

- Čini se da oni s pozitivnim slučajevima dolaze iz različitih sportova i različitih zemalja. Nastavit ćemo pomno pratiti situaciju i slušati savjete stručnjaka te nastojati medijima pružiti točne informacije. Prema podacima koje imamo nema koncentracije da postoji jedna država ili jedan sport - kazao je glasnogovornik Tokio 2020. Masa Takaya.

Ranije ovog tjedna, predsjednica Organizacijskog odbora Tokio 2020. Seiko Hashimoto potvrdila je da će pravila biti "još stroža" nego što su bila tijekom Olimpijskih igara u pokušaju da se zaštite sportaši na Paraolimpijskim igrama i izbjegne pogoršanje širenja COVID-19.

Dodajmo i kako je japanski savjetnik za COVID-19 kritizirao predsjednika Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomasa Bacha zbog ponovnog posjeta Tokiju kako bi prisustvovao svečanom otvaranju Paraolimpijskih igara, rekavši da je to u suprotnosti sa "zdravim razumom" uslijed alarmantnog porasta zaraze koronavirusom.

- Pitam se zašto se vratio. Trebao je koristiti zdravi razum - rekao je Shigeru Omi, predsjednik vladinog pododbora za odgovor na koronavirus.

Omi je doveo u pitanje obrazloženje iza Bachove odluke da ponovno otputuje u Tokio kako bi sudjelovao u događajima vezanim za Paraolimpijske igre, s obzirom da japanske vlasti pozivaju ljude da ostanu kod kuće i rade na daljinu kako bi pomogli u suzbijanju infekcije koronavirusom.

Od početka Olimpijskih igara 23. srpnja Tokio je u više navrata postavljao rekorde u dnevnim slučajevima zaraze COVID-19, a zdravstveni stručnjaci opisuju trenutnu situaciju na "razini katastrofe".

Tokio je u izvanrednom stanju od sredine srpnja, a opseg mjera proširen je na druga područja Japana, dok je zdravstveni sustav glavnog grada pod pritiskom zbog sve većeg broja ozbiljnih slučajeva COVID-19.

Bach je bio na udaru japanske javnosti i prije nego što u završile Olimpijske igre jer je snimljen u šetnji po prestižnoj tokijskoj trgovačkoj četvrti Ginza u pratnji tjelohranitelja, iako su se sportaši morali pridržavati strogih pravila COVID-19 i nije im bilo dopušteno razgledavanje.

Međunarodni paraolimpijski odbor (IPC) stao je u Bachovu obranu naglasivši kako Bachov posjet POI naglašava njegovu predanost paraolimpijskom pokretu, tvrdeći da odnos između dvije organizacije nikada nije bio bolji.

Tijekom tri dana Bach je na POI gledao košarku u kolicima, golbal, te plivanje.

- Bilo je sjajno što je prvi put vidio paraolimpijski sport. Zaista je važno da ljudi osobno dožive paraolimpijski sport i igre - kazao je glasnogovornik IPC-a Craig Spence.

Sudionik Paraolimpijskih Igara završio u bolnici zbog korone: Prema podacima koje imamo nema koncentracije na jednu država ili jedan sport

Strani sudionik Paraolimpijskih igara u Tokiju hospitaliziran je s teškim simptomima COVID-19, objavio je Kyodo News pozivajući se na Organizacijski odbor Igara.

Prvi je to slučaj hospitalizacije nekog od sudionika POI u Tokiju koje su otvorene u utorak.

Međutim, za sada nema nikakvih drugih informacija i detalja niti je poznato radi li se o sportašu ili o nekom od članova delegacija.. 

Do sada je zabilježeno 16 slučajeva koronavirusa u Paraolimpijskom selu pri čemu dva sportaša, dok od 12. kolovoza ukupan broj slučajeva povezanih s POI sada iznosi 169, uključujući devet sportaša.

Iz Organizacijskog odbora su poručili kako će nastaviti tražiti stručne savjete o pojavi novih slučajeva COVID-19 u paraolimpijskom selu, ali i naglasili kako nema...
