Putovanje baklje za Paraolimpijske igre u Tokiju, koje počinju 24. kolovoza, počelo je u četvrtak diljem Japana uz ograničenja zbog pandemije koronavirusa, dok će se i POI vjerojatno kao i olimpijske igre održavati bez prisutnosti gledatelja. 

Umjesto tradicionalne štafete s bakljama, u sljedećih dva tjedna u japanskim će se gradovima održavati samo svečanosti kada će se olimpijski plamen prenijeti s baklje na baklju.

Zbog nove pandemije koronavirusa većina borilišta na završenim Olimpijskim igrama bila su bez gledatelja jer je šire područje Tokija i dalje pod izvanrednim stanjem i zabranom javnih okupljanja. Navijači su mogli biti samo na rijetkim natjecanjima u nekim udaljenim prefekturama.

Službena odluka o tome hoće li gledatelji moći biti na tribinama tijekom Paraolimpijskih igara očekuje se idući tjedan.

Tijekom Olimpijskih igara organizatori su prijavili 511 pozitivnih slučajeva, od kojih su samo mali dio bili sportaši. Radilo se o samo izoliranim slučajevima, veći broj zaraza zabiolježen je samo u grčkoj reprezentaciji u umjetničkom plivanju.

Stoga japanske vlasti i organizatori Olimpijskih igara povećanje zaraza ne povezuju s olimpijskim igrama, nego s pojavom zaraznije delta-verzije virusa.

U Japanu je od vrlo skromnog postotka cijepljenog udjela stanovništva sada porastao sa nešto manje od deset na 35 posto, a više od 80 posto cijepljenih ima više od 65 godina, prenosi AFP.

Putovanje baklje za Paraolimpijske igre u Tokiju, koje počinju 24. kolovoza, počelo je u četvrtak diljem Japana uz ograničenja zbog pandemije koronavirusa, dok će se i POI vjerojatno kao i olimpijske igre održavati bez prisutnosti gledatelja. 

Umjesto tradicionalne štafete s bakljama, u sljedećih dva tjedna u japanskim će se gradovima održavati samo svečanosti kada će se olimpijski plamen prenijeti s baklje na baklju.

Zbog nove pandemije koronavirusa većina borilišta na završenim Olimpijskim igrama bila su bez gledatelja jer je šire područje Tokija i dalje pod izvanrednim stanjem i zabranom javnih okupljanja. Navijači su mogli biti samo na rijetkim natjecanjima u nekim udaljenim prefekturama.

Službena odluka o tome hoće li gledatelji moći biti na tribinama tijekom Paraolimpijskih igara očekuje se idući tjedan.

Tijekom Olimpijskih igara organizatori su prijavili 511 pozitivnih slučajeva, od kojih su samo mali dio bili sportaši. Radilo se o samo izoliranim slučajevima, veći broj zaraza zabiolježen je samo u grčkoj reprezentaciji u umjetničkom plivanju.

Stoga japanske vlasti i organizatori Olimpijskih igara povećanje zaraza ne povezuju s olimpijskim igrama, nego s pojavom zaraznije delta-verzije virusa.

U Japanu je od vrlo skromnog postotka cijepljenog udjela stanovništva sada porastao sa nešto manje od deset na 35 posto, a više od 80 posto cijepljenih ima više od 65 godina, prenosi AFP.

Nema tradicionalne štafete: paraolimpijski plamen krenuo na put po Japanu

Putovanje baklje za Paraolimpijske igre u Tokiju, koje počinju 24. kolovoza, počelo je u četvrtak diljem Japana uz ograničenja zbog pandemije koronavirusa, dok će se i POI vjerojatno kao i olimpijske igre održavati bez prisutnosti gledatelja. 

Umjesto tradicionalne štafete s bakljama, u sljedećih dva tjedna u japanskim će se gradovima održavati samo svečanosti kada će se olimpijski plamen prenijeti s baklje na baklju.

Zbog nove pandemije koronavirusa većina borilišta na završenim Olimpijskim igrama bila su bez gledatelja jer je šire područje Tokija i dalje pod izvanrednim stanjem i zabranom javnih okupljanja. Navijači su mogli biti samo na rijetkim natjecanjima u nekim udaljenim prefekturama.

Službena odluka o tome hoće li gledatelji moći biti na tribinama tijekom...
