Vlasnik Dallas Mavericksa Mark Cuban predlaže da u nastavku prekinute sezone u NBA ligi u borbi za prvaka sudjeluje 20, umjesto uobičajenih 16 momčadi, ali smatra da bi svih 30 klubova moralo odigrati još pet do sedam utakmica osnovnog dijela sezone prije doigravanja.

Vodeći ljudi Golden State Warriorsa već su prije najavili da će bilo kakav nastavak sezone tretirati kao da su već na odmoru, a zvijezda Portland Trail Blazersa Damian Lillard je izjavio da neće sudjelovati u nastavku lige, ako njegova momčad neće imati realnu priliku za izboriti mjesto u doigravanju.

Prema Cubanovom planu Lillard će imati za što igrati, a Warriorsi bi uz Minnesotu bili jedina momčad bez izgleda za plasman u doigravanje. No, njihove bi utakmice u osnovnom dijelu sezone imale značajnu financijsku težinu. Naime, prema pisanju američkih medija, ugovori za televizijska prava koje je potpisala NBA liga uvjetuju odigravanje najmanje 70 utakmica osnovnog dijela sezone po svakoj momčadi, a u trenutku prekida natjecanja klubovi su ih odigrali između 63 i 67.

Dodatna dva mjesta u doigravanju za svaku od dvije konferencije, dao bi šansu gotovo svim momčadima da ostanu u igri za naslov.

Prema Cubanovom prijedlogu 20 momčadi koje izbore doigravanje bile bi rangirane neovisno o konferenciji u kojoj nastupaju, pri čemu bi najboljih 14 popunilo mjesta u klasičnom ždrijebu od 16 klubova.

U prvom krugu doigravanja bi sudjelovale četiri najlošije rangirane momčadi, tako da bi 17. igrala protiv 20., a 18. protiv 19. Bolji iz tih dvoboja, bilo da se radi o jednoj utakmici ili seriji na dvije pobjede, u drugom bi krugu igrali protiv 15. i 16. rangirane momčadi. Igrale bi se serije na tri pobjede, a dva pobjednika bi popunila preostala dva mjesta u ždrijebu klasičnog doigravanja koje bi tada bilo nastavljeno natjecanjem u uobičajenom formatu serija na četiri pobjede.

"Ovaj nam plan omogućuje da imamo više utakmica u doigravanju, više uzbuđenja, više važnih dvoboja. On gotovo svakoj momčadi daje priliku da se vrati i odigra određeni broj utakmica osnovnog dijela sezone, napravi nešto zanimljivo i natječe se za nešto", izjavio je Mark Cuban za američku televiziju NBC.

"Moramo nešto probati promijeniti. Sklon sam eksperimentiranju. Ne možemo samo ići provjerenim putem", zaključio je jedan od najosebujnijih vlasnika momčadi u NBA ligi.

Vodstvo najbolje košarkaške lige svijeta u subotu je objavilo da pregovara s tvrtkom Walt Disney o mogućnosti da se sve preostale utakmice nastavka NBA sezone odigraju u sportskom kompleksu unutar Disney Worlda u Orlandu s predviđenim početkom natjecanja krajem srpnja.

Vlasnik Dallas Mavericksa Mark Cuban predlaže da u nastavku prekinute sezone u NBA ligi u borbi za prvaka sudjeluje 20, umjesto uobičajenih 16 momčadi, ali smatra da bi svih 30 klubova moralo odigrati još pet do sedam utakmica osnovnog dijela sezone prije doigravanja.

Vodeći ljudi Golden State Warriorsa već su prije najavili da će bilo kakav nastavak sezone tretirati kao da su već na odmoru, a zvijezda Portland Trail Blazersa Damian Lillard je izjavio da neće sudjelovati u nastavku lige, ako njegova momčad neće imati realnu priliku za izboriti mjesto u doigravanju.

Prema Cubanovom planu Lillard će imati za što igrati, a Warriorsi bi uz Minnesotu bili jedina momčad bez izgleda za plasman u doigravanje. No, njihove bi utakmice u osnovnom dijelu sezone imale značajnu financijsku težinu. Naime, prema pisanju američkih medija, ugovori za televizijska prava koje je potpisala NBA liga uvjetuju odigravanje najmanje 70 utakmica osnovnog dijela sezone po svakoj momčadi, a u trenutku prekida natjecanja klubovi su ih odigrali između 63 i 67.

Dodatna dva mjesta u doigravanju za svaku od dvije konferencije, dao bi šansu gotovo svim momčadima da ostanu u igri za naslov.

Prema Cubanovom prijedlogu 20 momčadi koje izbore doigravanje bile bi rangirane neovisno o konferenciji u kojoj nastupaju, pri čemu bi najboljih 14 popunilo mjesta u klasičnom ždrijebu od 16 klubova.

U prvom krugu doigravanja bi sudjelovale četiri najlošije rangirane momčadi, tako da bi 17. igrala protiv 20., a 18. protiv 19. Bolji iz tih dvoboja, bilo da se radi o jednoj utakmici ili seriji na dvije pobjede, u drugom bi krugu igrali protiv 15. i 16. rangirane momčadi. Igrale bi se serije na tri pobjede, a dva pobjednika bi popunila preostala dva mjesta u ždrijebu klasičnog doigravanja koje bi tada bilo nastavljeno natjecanjem u uobičajenom formatu serija na četiri pobjede.

"Ovaj nam plan omogućuje da imamo više utakmica u doigravanju, više uzbuđenja, više važnih dvoboja. On gotovo svakoj momčadi daje priliku da se vrati i odigra određeni broj utakmica osnovnog dijela sezone, napravi nešto zanimljivo i natječe se za nešto", izjavio je Mark Cuban za američku televiziju NBC.

"Moramo nešto probati promijeniti. Sklon sam eksperimentiranju. Ne možemo samo ići provjerenim putem", zaključio je jedan od najosebujnijih vlasnika momčadi u NBA ligi.

Vodstvo najbolje košarkaške lige svijeta u subotu je objavilo da pregovara s tvrtkom Walt Disney o mogućnosti da se sve preostale utakmice nastavka NBA sezone odigraju u sportskom kompleksu unutar Disney Worlda u Orlandu s predviđenim početkom natjecanja krajem srpnja.

Vlasnik Dallas Mavericksa Mark Cuban predlaže da u nastavku prekinute sezone u NBA ligi u borbi za prvaka sudjeluje 20, umjesto uobičajenih 16 momčadi, ali smatra da bi svih 30 klubova moralo odigrati još pet do sedam utakmica osnovnog dijela sezone prije doigravanja.

Vodeći ljudi Golden State Warriorsa već su prije najavili da će bilo kakav nastavak sezone tretirati kao da su već na odmoru, a zvijezda Portland Trail Blazersa Damian Lillard je izjavio da neće sudjelovati u nastavku lige, ako njegova momčad neće imati realnu priliku za izboriti mjesto u doigravanju.
