Košarkaška Euroliga objavila je da je ipak prerano za nastup momčadi iz Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata u elitnom europskom natjecanju, tvrdi srpska agencija Tanjug.

Košarkaška Euroliga objavila je da je ipak prerano za nastup momčadi iz Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata u elitnom europskom natjecanju, tvrdi srpska agencija Tanjug.

Čelnici Eurolige, kao i predstavnici 13 klubova s ​​A licencom, prisustvovali su sastanku u Dubaiju, gdje je nagoviješteno da bi se moglo razgovarati o ideji da u budućnosti timovi iz UAE igraju Euroligu.

"Svrha posjeta bila je razmjena ideja, ali i razmatranje potencijalnih šansi za suradnju. Prerano je govoriti o nečemu posebnom, ovo je tek prvi susret, ali gledat ćemo da se ovaj razgovor nastavi", kazao je izvršni direktor Eurolige Marshall Glueckman.

Kako prenose brojni europski mediji, sponzori iz Emirata navodno su spremni ponuditi Euroligi 60 milijuna eura za sponzorski ugovor, ali zauzvrat traže da barem jedna momčad iz Dubaija igra u elitnom natjecanju, kao i da se Final four održava u UAE najmanje sljedeće tri godine.

Košarkaška Euroliga objavila je da je ipak prerano za nastup momčadi iz Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata u elitnom europskom natjecanju, tvrdi srpska agencija Tanjug.

Čelnici Eurolige, kao i predstavnici 13 klubova s ​​A licencom, prisustvovali su sastanku u Dubaiju, gdje je nagoviješteno da bi se moglo razgovarati o ideji da u budućnosti timovi iz UAE igraju Euroligu.
