Obećali smo jedan drugome kako ćemo ostati u kontaktu. I zaista jesmo! Tko? Potpisnik ovih redaka i Jose Soares ili da ga konačno predstavimo punim imenom - Antonio Oliveira Soares.
- Tko je sad taj - opet ste se zapitali.
Pa, evo kratki podsjetnik. Koncem prošle godine imao sam čast uživo prisustvovati jednom od najvećih gradskih derbija na svijetu – utakmici portugalskih velikana Benfice i Sportinga. U ‘Slobodnoj’ ste mogli čitati o dogodovštinama s tog susreta...
Povod čitavoj priči bio je, dakako, Hajduk!
U moru Benficinih navijača uočili smo jednoga s Hajdukovim šalom privezanim oko ruke. Naravno da smo mu prišli i upoznali i, naravno, da je 52-godišnji Soares bio oduševljen. Pao je prijateljski zagrljaj, u ruku mi je utisnuo „red pass” (pretplatu za utakmice Benfice) i tako smo se umjesto „na krovu”, našli u sedmom redu tribina, tik uz teren.
S razdraganim Joseom, kako mu je nadimak, iza utakmice smo se morali oprostiti, ali našu komunikaciju nastavili smo i po povratku u Split.
Slao je more poruka na Facebooku. Bila su mu puna usta (ili je bolje reći tipkovnica) Hajduka. A kako i ne bi bila? Prijateljstvo „bijelih” i Benfice nije novost.
- To su dva bratska kluba – konstatirao je Soares.
Nije pogriješio, istina je. A evo i zašto.
Sudbina je htjela da dva najveća kluba u svojim zemljama ujedini – tragedija. Tog kobnog 18. rujna 1994. godine igrao se njihov međusobni susret Lige prvaka u Splitu. Navijači Benfice, famozni „No Name Boys”, stigli su na Poljud podržati svoju momčad. Prevalili su dug put do Hrvatske i nakon utakmice čekao ih je povratak.
Bio je to put s kojeg se Gullit, Tino i Rita nikada nisu vratili. Poginuli su u automobilskoj nesreći u Pirinejima.
Jorge Mauricio Gullit, Laurentino Soares Tino i Ana Rita Fernandes temelj su prijateljstva Hajduka i Benfice, Torcide i No Name Boysa.
- Nažalost, nisam ih osobno poznavao, ali svi smo mi bili prijatelji s tribine. Više ih nema među nama, ali i dalje ih osjećamo na stadionu. Zauvijek će biti s nama u našim srcima koja tuku samo za Benficu – priča nam novopečeni lisabonski prijatelj.

Hajdukovi navijači su im odlučili odati počast. Istim su putem krenuli na uzvrat u Lisabon 18. studenog te godine. Na stadionu Luz položili su vijenac podno tribine, drugog doma poginule trojke. Uslijedile su ovacije više od 50 tisuća ljudi, a razvili su i transparent s porukom: „Freedom for Croatia”.
- Osjećam posebnu povezanost s Hajdukovim navijačima. Nisam mogao vjerovati kada smo se upoznali. Netko iz Splita je prepoznao šal koji uvijek nosim. Nevjerojatno! Bio sam presretan – uzbuđen je Jose, i dalje pod dojmom.
‘Ne propuštam ni jednu utakmicu, gledam i juniore, žensku ekipu Benfice...’
Spona dvaju klubova traje tako već nepunih 28 godina. Torcida, odnosno No Name Boysi često ističu obilježja onog drugog na svojim tribinama. Na Poljudu nije strano vidjeti zastavu s dva naopaka slova „N”, simbol navijača Benfice.
- Velika mi je želja jednom doći u Split, na Poljud. Čuo sam da se radi o veličanstvenom stadionu. Znam i da su vaši navijači fanatični poput mene – i jesu, moj Jose, nisi ni svjestan koliko...
- Mi smo braća ujedinjena zauvijek, a ta legenda je započela 1994. - ne zaostaje ni on po fanatičnosti, evala mu.
Recite nam malo o sebi. Dojam je da među navijačima Benfice slovite za istinsku ikonu.
- Na tribini me vole zbog onoga što jesam, a to je vojnik Benfice do smrti – otkrio nam je kako ne propušta ni jednu, jedinu utakmicu. Ide gledati i juniore, a ponekad čak i žensku ekipu.
- Pjevam i navijam od početka do kraja. Nisam od onih što dolaze na stadion sjediti – istinu zbori Soares.
- E, da. Imam i dva sina, od 21 i 19 godina – sjetio se i podmlatka, ali ne prije Benfice. U Josea se znaju prioriteti...
Često ga se može vidjeti i u televizijskim prijenosima kako stoji pri dnu južne tribine držeći u rukama zastavu s likom legendarnog Eusebija. Uočili smo ga i mi sa zapadne tribine stadiona Luz.
„Sinjali” smo tada i zastavu Luksemburga privezanu oko pasa.
Zašto Luksemburg? - znatiželjni smo.
- Tamo sam rođen, ali sada živim u Portugalu, točnije u Penafielu, mjestu u predgrađu Porta.
U Portu? Nije li tamo navijačko javno mnijenje žestoko kontra Benfice?!
- Tako je. Doslovno nas mrze! Mi sa sjevera zemlje koji volimo Benficu često ispaštamo zbog toga. Ne volim navijače Porta jer nas ne poštuju. Kada gostujemo na njihovom stadionu uglavnom nas „dočekuju” kamenjem – požalio se gostujućim „tretmanom”, nažalost čestim na mjestima gdje vlada netrpeljivost dvaju klubova.
Benfici u posljednje vrijeme baš i ne ide najbolje. Izgubili su u finalu Liga kupa od Sportinga, a za mrskim rivalom zaostaju i u prvenstvu. Vodeći Porto bježi im 12 bodova. Nije ni Jose sretan zbog toga, osjetilo mu se to u glasu. Puno toga, kaže, ne štima u klubu...
- Trenutno prolazimo kroz teško razdoblje. Promijenili smo trenera u sred sezone, a kada se to dogodi, onda znaš da situacija nije bajna. Mnogi igrači su preplaćeni, a na terenu ne pokazuju dovoljno. Navijači troše svoj novac na ulaznice i sve to na kraju ide na pogrešne igrače. Ali zapravo je kriva uprava. Promjene moraju krenuti od vrha – odlučan je.
U Hajduku je, s druge strane, obrnuti trend.
- Drago mi je da barem vama dobro ide. Pratim rezultate u hrvatskoj ligi. Hajduk mi je često u mislima. Želim da Hajduk osvoji titulu još ove sezone!

Obećali smo jedan drugome kako ćemo ostati u kontaktu. I zaista jesmo! Tko? Potpisnik ovih redaka i Jose Soares ili da ga konačno predstavimo punim imenom - Antonio Oliveira Soares.
- Tko je sad taj - opet ste se zapitali.
Pa, evo kratki podsjetnik. Koncem prošle godine imao sam čast uživo prisustvovati jednom od najvećih gradskih derbija na svijetu – utakmici portugalskih velikana Benfice i Sportinga. U ‘Slobodnoj’ ste mogli čitati o dogodovštinama s tog susreta...
Povod čitavoj priči bio je, dakako, Hajduk!
U moru Benficinih navijača uočili smo jednoga s Hajdukovim šalom privezanim oko ruke. Naravno da smo mu prišli i upoznali i, naravno, da je 52-godišnji Soares bio oduševljen. Pao je prijateljski zagrljaj, u ruku mi je utisnuo „red pass” (pretplatu za utakmice Benfice) i tako smo se umjesto „na krovu”, našli u sedmom redu tribina, tik uz teren.
S razdraganim Joseom, kako mu je nadimak, iza utakmice smo se morali oprostiti, ali našu komunikaciju nastavili smo i po povratku u Split.
Slao je more poruka na Facebooku. Bila su mu puna usta (ili je bolje reći tipkovnica) Hajduka. A kako i ne bi bila? Prijateljstvo „bijelih” i Benfice nije novost.
- To su dva bratska kluba – konstatirao je Soares.
Nije pogriješio, istina je. A evo i zašto.
Sudbina je htjela da dva najveća kluba u svojim zemljama ujedini – tragedija. Tog kobnog 18. rujna 1994. godine igrao se njihov međusobni susret Lige prvaka u Splitu. Navijači Benfice, famozni „No Name Boys”, stigli su na Poljud podržati svoju momčad. Prevalili su dug put do Hrvatske i nakon utakmice čekao ih je povratak.
Bio je to put s kojeg se Gullit, Tino i Rita nikada nisu vratili. Poginuli su u automobilskoj nesreći u Pirinejima.
Jorge Mauricio Gullit, Laurentino Soares Tino i Ana Rita Fernandes temelj su prijateljstva Hajduka i Benfice, Torcide i No Name Boysa.
- Nažalost, nisam ih osobno poznavao, ali svi smo mi bili prijatelji s tribine. Više ih nema među nama, ali i dalje ih osjećamo na stadionu. Zauvijek će biti s nama u našim srcima koja tuku samo za Benficu – priča nam novopečeni lisabonski prijatelj.

Hajdukovi navijači su im odlučili odati počast. Istim su putem krenuli na uzvrat u Lisabon 18. studenog te godine. Na stadionu Luz položili su vijenac podno tribine, drugog doma poginule trojke. Uslijedile su ovacije više od 50 tisuća ljudi, a razvili su i transparent s porukom: „Freedom for Croatia”.
- Osjećam posebnu povezanost s Hajdukovim navijačima. Nisam mogao vjerovati kada smo se upoznali. Netko iz Splita je prepoznao šal koji uvijek nosim. Nevjerojatno! Bio sam presretan – uzbuđen je Jose, i dalje pod dojmom.
‘Ne propuštam ni jednu utakmicu, gledam i juniore, žensku ekipu Benfice...’
Spona dvaju klubova traje tako već nepunih 28 godina. Torcida, odnosno No Name Boysi često ističu obilježja onog drugog na svojim tribinama. Na Poljudu nije strano vidjeti zastavu s dva naopaka slova „N”, simbol navijača Benfice.
- Velika mi je želja jednom doći u Split, na Poljud. Čuo sam da se radi o veličanstvenom stadionu. Znam i da su vaši navijači fanatični poput mene – i jesu, moj Jose, nisi ni svjestan koliko...
- Mi smo braća ujedinjena zauvijek, a ta legenda je započela 1994. - ne zaostaje ni on po fanatičnosti, evala mu.
Recite nam malo o sebi. Dojam je da među navijačima Benfice slovite za istinsku ikonu.
- Na tribini me vole zbog onoga što jesam, a to je vojnik Benfice do smrti – otkrio nam je kako ne propušta ni jednu, jedinu utakmicu. Ide gledati i juniore, a ponekad čak i žensku ekipu.
- Pjevam i navijam od početka do kraja. Nisam od onih što dolaze na stadion sjediti – istinu zbori Soares.
- E, da. Imam i dva sina, od 21 i 19 godina – sjetio se i podmlatka, ali ne prije Benfice. U Josea se znaju prioriteti...
Često ga se može vidjeti i u televizijskim prijenosima kako stoji pri dnu južne tribine držeći u rukama zastavu s likom legendarnog Eusebija. Uočili smo ga i mi sa zapadne tribine stadiona Luz.
„Sinjali” smo tada i zastavu Luksemburga privezanu oko pasa.
Zašto Luksemburg? - znatiželjni smo.
- Tamo sam rođen, ali sada živim u Portugalu, točnije u Penafielu, mjestu u predgrađu Porta.
U Portu? Nije li tamo navijačko javno mnijenje žestoko kontra Benfice?!
- Tako je. Doslovno nas mrze! Mi sa sjevera zemlje koji volimo Benficu često ispaštamo zbog toga. Ne volim navijače Porta jer nas ne poštuju. Kada gostujemo na njihovom stadionu uglavnom nas „dočekuju” kamenjem – požalio se gostujućim „tretmanom”, nažalost čestim na mjestima gdje vlada netrpeljivost dvaju klubova.
Benfici u posljednje vrijeme baš i ne ide najbolje. Izgubili su u finalu Liga kupa od Sportinga, a za mrskim rivalom zaostaju i u prvenstvu. Vodeći Porto bježi im 12 bodova. Nije ni Jose sretan zbog toga, osjetilo mu se to u glasu. Puno toga, kaže, ne štima u klubu...
- Trenutno prolazimo kroz teško razdoblje. Promijenili smo trenera u sred sezone, a kada se to dogodi, onda znaš da situacija nije bajna. Mnogi igrači su preplaćeni, a na terenu ne pokazuju dovoljno. Navijači troše svoj novac na ulaznice i sve to na kraju ide na pogrešne igrače. Ali zapravo je kriva uprava. Promjene moraju krenuti od vrha – odlučan je.
U Hajduku je, s druge strane, obrnuti trend.
- Drago mi je da barem vama dobro ide. Pratim rezultate u hrvatskoj ligi. Hajduk mi je često u mislima. Želim da Hajduk osvoji titulu još ove sezone!
