Kad se Dimitrios Diamantakos predstavio krasnim pogotkom iz daljine u debiju protiv Slaven Belupa, vjerojatno je svaki navijač Hajduka pomislio kako je klub napokon dobio klasičnu „devetku”, golgetera, „killera”. 

Čovjeka od 20 golova po sezoni.

Međutim, do danas je to jedini pogodak grčkog napadača u bijelom dresu. A ta utakmica protiv Belupa odigrala se još 29. kolovoza, dakle prije točno tri mjeseca.

- Moj je posao zabijati pogotke. Nadam se da ću ih mnogo zabiti, ali želim zabijati u pobjedama, ne u porazima ili remijima. Samo to me raduje. Svake sezone želim postići više nego prethodne, nadam se da će tako biti i ovdje – rekao je Diamantakos nakon tog prvijenca „farmaceutima”.

Loša statistika

Prošle je sezone za njemačkog drugoligaša St. Pauli postigao 12 golova u 22 utakmice i Splićani su ga željno iščekivali, svjesni nedostataka u ofenzivnom dijelu igre. Transfer je bio dogovoren još dok je trener Hajduka bio Igor Tudor, sportski direktor Ivan Kepčija, predsjednik Uprave Marin Brbić, a njegov savjetnik Mario Stanić. Danas nema ni jednog od njih u klubu. Ostao je samo Diamantakos. I za sada je učinak 27-godišnjeg Grka od jednog pogotka u deset utakmica ispod očekivanja. Kako njegovih, tako i klupskih.

Nije Diamantakos loš. Pokazuje da može i zna, ima potez, hvale ga i suigrači koji ga svakodnevno gledaju na treninzima, ali napadač živi od golova. Oni su najveće mjerilo njegove vrijednosti. A kad pogledamo statistiku koja kaže – deset utakmica, jedan gol i ukupno gotovo 13 sati igre bez pogotka (770 minuta) – to ne izgleda bajno. Ne živi se od dojma. Bez golova, koji su mu primarna zadaća, nije to to.

Čak ni u utakmicama protiv puno slabijih suparnika, gdje se očekivalo da se Diamantakos mora nametnuti i zabiti pokoji gol, kao protiv Renove u Europskoj ligi ili Graničara u Kupu, to se nije dogodilo. Imao je, doduše, asistenciju Caktašu protiv Graničara, a u pobjedi nad Varaždinom u Poljudu (2:0) iznudio je jedanaesterac zbog čega je od tadašnjeg trenera Harija Vukasa javno dobio pohvalu:

- Pokazao je odlike pravog centarfora. Čekao je pravu situaciju, stvorio sebi prostor i reagirao na pravi način. To je kvaliteta i iskustvo – komentirao je tada Vukas.

No, to je od konkretnog učinka bilo sve. Gol i dvije asistencije. Skromno. Sigurno je i Diamantakos toga svjestan. Doveden je da zabija i da klub i navijači zaborave razočaranje sa Samuelom Eduokom, no čak je i osporavani i kritizirani Nigerijac u prvih deset utakmica imao bolji učinak od svog grčkog nasljednika (tri gola i tri asistencije).

Možda ga Umut probudi

Tko zna, možda ga konkurencija koju je dobio u liku Turčina Umuta Nayira dodatno motivira i probudi. Nayir je pod vodstvom Bore Primorca bio starter protiv Slaven Belupa i Lokomotive, dok je Diamantakos u ta dva susreta dobio svega 22 minute i to kao rezerva u Kranjčevićevoj.

Blijedi li polako Diamant(akos)ov sjaj ili će uskoro zasjati jače nego ikad? Još je dovoljno vremena da Grk uhvati formu, popravi dojam i ispuni očekivanja koja ga prate otkako je stigao u Poljud.

Kad se Dimitrios Diamantakos predstavio krasnim pogotkom iz daljine u debiju protiv Slaven Belupa, vjerojatno je svaki navijač Hajduka pomislio kako je klub napokon dobio klasičnu „devetku”, golgetera, „killera”. 

Čovjeka od 20 golova po sezoni.

Međutim, do danas je to jedini pogodak grčkog napadača u bijelom dresu. A ta utakmica protiv Belupa odigrala se još 29. kolovoza, dakle prije točno tri mjeseca.

- Moj je posao zabijati pogotke. Nadam se da ću ih mnogo zabiti, ali želim zabijati u pobjedama, ne u porazima ili remijima. Samo to me raduje. Svake sezone želim postići više nego prethodne, nadam se da će tako biti i ovdje – rekao je Diamantakos nakon tog prvijenca „farmaceutima”.

Loša statistika

Prošle je sezone za njemačkog drugoligaša St. Pauli postigao 12 golova u 22 utakmice i Splićani su ga željno iščekivali, svjesni nedostataka u ofenzivnom dijelu igre. Transfer je bio dogovoren još dok je trener Hajduka bio Igor Tudor, sportski direktor Ivan Kepčija, predsjednik Uprave Marin Brbić, a njegov savjetnik Mario Stanić. Danas nema ni jednog od njih u klubu. Ostao je samo Diamantakos. I za sada je učinak 27-godišnjeg Grka od jednog pogotka u deset utakmica ispod očekivanja. Kako njegovih, tako i klupskih.

Nije Diamantakos loš. Pokazuje da može i zna, ima potez, hvale ga i suigrači koji ga svakodnevno gledaju na treninzima, ali napadač živi od golova. Oni su najveće mjerilo njegove vrijednosti. A kad pogledamo statistiku koja kaže – deset utakmica, jedan gol i ukupno gotovo 13 sati igre bez pogotka (770 minuta) – to ne izgleda bajno. Ne živi se od dojma. Bez golova, koji su mu primarna zadaća, nije to to.

Čak ni u utakmicama protiv puno slabijih suparnika, gdje se očekivalo da se Diamantakos mora nametnuti i zabiti pokoji gol, kao protiv Renove u Europskoj ligi ili Graničara u Kupu, to se nije dogodilo. Imao je, doduše, asistenciju Caktašu protiv Graničara, a u pobjedi nad Varaždinom u Poljudu (2:0) iznudio je jedanaesterac zbog čega je od tadašnjeg trenera Harija Vukasa javno dobio pohvalu:

- Pokazao je odlike pravog centarfora. Čekao je pravu situaciju, stvorio sebi prostor i reagirao na pravi način. To je kvaliteta i iskustvo – komentirao je tada Vukas.

No, to je od konkretnog učinka bilo sve. Gol i dvije asistencije. Skromno. Sigurno je i Diamantakos toga svjestan. Doveden je da zabija i da klub i navijači zaborave razočaranje sa Samuelom Eduokom, no čak je i osporavani i kritizirani Nigerijac u prvih deset utakmica imao bolji učinak od svog grčkog nasljednika (tri gola i tri asistencije).

Možda ga Umut probudi

Tko zna, možda ga konkurencija koju je dobio u liku Turčina Umuta Nayira dodatno motivira i probudi. Nayir je pod vodstvom Bore Primorca bio starter protiv Slaven Belupa i Lokomotive, dok je Diamantakos u ta dva susreta dobio svega 22 minute i to kao rezerva u Kranjčevićevoj.

Blijedi li polako Diamant(akos)ov sjaj ili će uskoro zasjati jače nego ikad? Još je dovoljno vremena da Grk uhvati formu, popravi dojam i ispuni očekivanja koja ga prate otkako je stigao u Poljud.

Hajdukov Diamantakos blijedog sjaja: Grk nije loš. Ima potez, hvale ga i suigrači. Ali, napadač živi od golova

Kad se Dimitrios Diamantakos predstavio krasnim pogotkom iz daljine u debiju protiv Slaven Belupa, vjerojatno je svaki navijač Hajduka pomislio kako je klub napokon dobio klasičnu „devetku”, golgetera, „killera”. 

Čovjeka od 20 golova po sezoni.

Međutim, do danas je to jedini pogodak grčkog napadača u bijelom dresu. A ta utakmica protiv Belupa odigrala se još 29. kolovoza, dakle prije točno tri mjeseca.

- Moj je posao zabijati pogotke. Nadam se da ću ih mnogo zabiti, ali želim zabijati u pobjedama, ne u porazima ili remijima. Samo to me raduje. Svake sezone želim postići više nego prethodne, nadam se da će tako biti i ovdje – rekao je Diamantakos nakon tog prvijenca „farmaceutima”.
