Goran Tomić ipak neće preuzeti momčad Osijeka, kako smo to najavili i kako se očekivalo, a s obzirom na to da je bio jedini trener s kojim je predsjednik kluba Ferenc Sakalj o tome i razgovarao, pišu Sportske novosti.

Nenada Bjelicu na klupi će naslijediti njegov dosadašnji prvi pomoćnik Austrijanac Rene Poms, kojemu klub, kao i ostalim članovima Bjeličinog stožera nije dao otkaz, a oni su se već sljedećeg dana nakon razrješenja Bjelice stavili na raspolaganje i preuzeli vođenje treninga prve momčadi. Tomićev angažman, pak, nije bio moguć u ovom trenutku, jer ima klauzulu iz raskida ugovora s Rijekom da do 31.12. ove godine ne može preuzeti nijedan klub u 1. HNL bez plaćanja odštete Rijeci. U Osijeku su tražili način kako da izbjegnu tu situaciju, ali očito u tome nisu uspjeli, pa su morali stopirati pregovore s Tomićem. Ne znamo, doduše, jesu li pokušali ‘slomiti‘ Damira Miškovića da odustane od te odštete, ali s obzirom na financijsku situaciju u Rijeci sumnjamo da bi Mišković na to pristao. Čak i unatoč tome što mu je Osijek prošloga tjedna praktički poklonio Alena Grgića, koji je iz Osijeku prešao u Rijeku bez odštete.

Poms tako postaje glavni trener, a izvori iz Gradskog vrta govore kako se 47-godišnji Austrijanac već u utorak od prvog treninga, kojeg je vodio kao svojevrsni v.d. prvog trenera, postavio ozbiljno, odgovorno i angažirano kao da na toj poziciji planira dugo ostati. U klubu su stoga odlučili da im je to očito najbezbolnije i najjednostavnije rješenje, a vrijeme ispred nas pokazat će jesu li dobro odlučili. Poms je, inače, zadnji put samostalno kao trener radio još 2013. godine vodeći momčad Wolfsberga II. Nakon toga se pridružio Nenadu Bjelici te mu bio prvi pomoćnik u svim klubovima počevši od Wolfsbergera. U Osijeku je, pak, tri puta mijenjao šefa. Dva puta u pretprošloj sezoni kada je Bjelica izostao zbog operacije kralježnice te jednom u prošloj, kada je Bjelici preminula majka. Zanimljivo, jedna od tih utakmica bila je i prvenstvena protiv Šibenika na Šubićevcu prije dvije godine, kada je Osijek slavio s 2-0, a Poms će sada kao prvi trener Osijeka debitirati upravo protiv Šibenika u Gradskom vrtu. Rene Poms tako će biti prvi stranac na klupi Osijeka, a od početka ‘mađarske ere‘ i prvi trener Osijeka koji nije rođen u Osijeku!

Goran Tomić ipak neće preuzeti momčad Osijeka, kako smo to najavili i kako se očekivalo, a s obzirom na to da je bio jedini trener s kojim je predsjednik kluba Ferenc Sakalj o tome i razgovarao, pišu Sportske novosti.

Nenada Bjelicu na klupi će naslijediti njegov dosadašnji prvi pomoćnik Austrijanac Rene Poms, kojemu klub, kao i ostalim članovima Bjeličinog stožera nije dao otkaz, a oni su se već sljedećeg dana nakon razrješenja Bjelice stavili na raspolaganje i preuzeli vođenje treninga prve momčadi. Tomićev angažman, pak, nije bio moguć u ovom trenutku, jer ima klauzulu iz raskida ugovora s Rijekom da do 31.12. ove godine ne može preuzeti nijedan klub u 1. HNL bez plaćanja odštete Rijeci. U Osijeku su tražili način kako da izbjegnu tu situaciju, ali očito u tome nisu uspjeli, pa su morali stopirati pregovore s Tomićem. Ne znamo, doduše, jesu li pokušali ‘slomiti‘ Damira Miškovića da odustane od te odštete, ali s obzirom na financijsku situaciju u Rijeci sumnjamo da bi Mišković na to pristao. Čak i unatoč tome što mu je Osijek prošloga tjedna praktički poklonio Alena Grgića, koji je iz Osijeku prešao u Rijeku bez odštete.

Poms tako postaje glavni trener, a izvori iz Gradskog vrta govore kako se 47-godišnji Austrijanac već u utorak od prvog treninga, kojeg je vodio kao svojevrsni v.d. prvog trenera, postavio ozbiljno, odgovorno i angažirano kao da na toj poziciji planira dugo ostati. U klubu su stoga odlučili da im je to očito najbezbolnije i najjednostavnije rješenje, a vrijeme ispred nas pokazat će jesu li dobro odlučili. Poms je, inače, zadnji put samostalno kao trener radio još 2013. godine vodeći momčad Wolfsberga II. Nakon toga se pridružio Nenadu Bjelici te mu bio prvi pomoćnik u svim klubovima počevši od Wolfsbergera. U Osijeku je, pak, tri puta mijenjao šefa. Dva puta u pretprošloj sezoni kada je Bjelica izostao zbog operacije kralježnice te jednom u prošloj, kada je Bjelici preminula majka. Zanimljivo, jedna od tih utakmica bila je i prvenstvena protiv Šibenika na Šubićevcu prije dvije godine, kada je Osijek slavio s 2-0, a Poms će sada kao prvi trener Osijeka debitirati upravo protiv Šibenika u Gradskom vrtu. Rene Poms tako će biti prvi stranac na klupi Osijeka, a od početka ‘mađarske ere‘ i prvi trener Osijeka koji nije rođen u Osijeku!

Goran Tomić ipak neće preuzeti momčad Osijeka, kako smo to najavili i kako se očekivalo, a s obzirom na to da je bio jedini trener s kojim je predsjednik kluba Ferenc Sakalj o tome i razgovarao, pišu Sportske novosti.

Nenada Bjelicu na klupi će naslijediti njegov dosadašnji prvi pomoćnik Austrijanac Rene Poms, kojemu klub, kao i ostalim članovima Bjeličinog stožera nije dao otkaz, a oni su se već sljedećeg dana nakon razrješenja Bjelice stavili na raspolaganje i preuzeli vođenje treninga prve momčadi. Tomićev angažman, pak, nije bio moguć u ovom trenutku, jer ima klauzulu iz raskida ugovora s Rijekom da do 31.12. ove godine ne može preuzeti nijedan klub u 1. HNL bez plaćanja odštete Rijeci. U Osijeku su tražili način kako da izbjegnu tu situaciju, ali očito...
