Hrvatska džudađica Ana Viktorija Puljiz osvojila je brončanu medalju u kategoriji do 52 kilograma na IJF "grand slam" turniru u Antalyji.

U borbi za brončanu medalju Puljiz se susrela s četvrtom nositeljicom turnira, Talijankom Odette Giuffridom. Iako je bogatija za dvije olimpijske medalje, Talijanka je jednostavno bila nemoćna protiv 22-godišnje Solinjanke, koja je u konačnici osvojila medalju nakon tri opomene.

"Brončana medalja, druga medalja u dva tjedna, druga medalja na ‘grand slamu‘. Stvarno nemam riječi za opisati, presretna sam, imala sam pet teških borbi, ali drago mi je da sam uspjela završiti dan s medaljom. Stvarno sam se super osjećala, dala sve od sebe, imala sam prvu borbu jako tešku protivnicu, Mongolku koja nastupa za Emirate i od nje sam izgubila prije dvije godine u Zagrebu i drago mi je da sam je sada dobila. Za treće mjesto sam dobila dvostruku olimpijsku medalju, svjetsku i europsku medaljašicu. Samo mogu reći da sam prezahvalna, presretna, idemo treniramo dalje za nadolazeće Europsko prvenstvo u Zagrebu", kazala je Puljiz.

Puljiz je prikupila i 500 bodova u borbi za plasman na Olimpijske igre u Parizu, očekuje se da će nakon turnira skočiti sa 27. pozicije na 18. mjesto svjetske rang ljestvice. Trenutačnu situaciju prokomentirao je trener ženskih reprezentacija, Dragan Crnov: 

"Naravno, put prema Parizu se lagano otvara. Napravili smo nekoliko odličnih rezultata, posebno ova dva tjedna gdje smo osvojili dvije medalje na ‘grand slamu‘. Za Vikicu je ovaj put puno teži, jer u prvoj godini kvalifikacija nije nastupala zbog ozljede, međutim u ovoj drugoj godini kvalifikacija ima jako puno bodova i sada se borimo da bi ostvarili plasman na OI. Ja kao trener sam izuzetno zadovoljan s njezinim pristupom, znao sam da će se kad-tad otvoriti i da će ona prikazati svoje znanje".

Puljiz je u Antalyji upisala ukupno pet borbi, četiri pobjede i jedan poraz. Pobijedila je Khorloodoi Bishrelt iz UAE, Amerikanku Angelicu Delgado, Kineskinju Yequing Zhu te Talijanku Odette Giuffridu, a poraz je upisala u četvrtfinalu protiv Španjolke Ayumi Sanchez.

U kategoriji do 57kg nastupila je Tihea Topolovec te upisala dvije pobjede i poraz. U prvom kolu savladala je domaću predstavnicu Hasret Bozkurt, da bi u drugom kolu šokirala cijelu arenu u Antaliji pobijedivši olimpijsku pobjednicu iz Rija 2016, dvostruku svjetsku prvakinju i aktualni broj sedam na svjetskoj rang ljestvici, 31-godišnju Brazilku Rafaelu Silvu. U trećem kolu Toplovec nije uspjela pronaći rješenje protiv Poljakinje Arlete Podolak koja pobjeđuje nakon tri opomene.

Hrvatska džudađica Ana Viktorija Puljiz osvojila je brončanu medalju u kategoriji do 52 kilograma na IJF "grand slam" turniru u Antalyji.

U borbi za brončanu medalju Puljiz se susrela s četvrtom nositeljicom turnira, Talijankom Odette Giuffridom. Iako je bogatija za dvije olimpijske medalje, Talijanka je jednostavno bila nemoćna protiv 22-godišnje Solinjanke, koja je u konačnici osvojila medalju nakon tri opomene.

"Brončana medalja, druga medalja u dva tjedna, druga medalja na ‘grand slamu‘. Stvarno nemam riječi za opisati, presretna sam, imala sam pet teških borbi, ali drago mi je da sam uspjela završiti dan s medaljom. Stvarno sam se super osjećala, dala sve od sebe, imala sam prvu borbu jako tešku protivnicu, Mongolku koja nastupa za Emirate i od nje sam izgubila prije dvije godine u Zagrebu i drago mi je da sam je sada dobila. Za treće mjesto sam dobila dvostruku olimpijsku medalju, svjetsku i europsku medaljašicu. Samo mogu reći da sam prezahvalna, presretna, idemo treniramo dalje za nadolazeće Europsko prvenstvo u Zagrebu", kazala je Puljiz.

Puljiz je prikupila i 500 bodova u borbi za plasman na Olimpijske igre u Parizu, očekuje se da će nakon turnira skočiti sa 27. pozicije na 18. mjesto svjetske rang ljestvice. Trenutačnu situaciju prokomentirao je trener ženskih reprezentacija, Dragan Crnov: 

"Naravno, put prema Parizu se lagano otvara. Napravili smo nekoliko odličnih rezultata, posebno ova dva tjedna gdje smo osvojili dvije medalje na ‘grand slamu‘. Za Vikicu je ovaj put puno teži, jer u prvoj godini kvalifikacija nije nastupala zbog ozljede, međutim u ovoj drugoj godini kvalifikacija ima jako puno bodova i sada se borimo da bi ostvarili plasman na OI. Ja kao trener sam izuzetno zadovoljan s njezinim pristupom, znao sam da će se kad-tad otvoriti i da će ona prikazati svoje znanje".

Puljiz je u Antalyji upisala ukupno pet borbi, četiri pobjede i jedan poraz. Pobijedila je Khorloodoi Bishrelt iz UAE, Amerikanku Angelicu Delgado, Kineskinju Yequing Zhu te Talijanku Odette Giuffridu, a poraz je upisala u četvrtfinalu protiv Španjolke Ayumi Sanchez.

U kategoriji do 57kg nastupila je Tihea Topolovec te upisala dvije pobjede i poraz. U prvom kolu savladala je domaću predstavnicu Hasret Bozkurt, da bi u drugom kolu šokirala cijelu arenu u Antaliji pobijedivši olimpijsku pobjednicu iz Rija 2016, dvostruku svjetsku prvakinju i aktualni broj sedam na svjetskoj rang ljestvici, 31-godišnju Brazilku Rafaelu Silvu. U trećem kolu Toplovec nije uspjela pronaći rješenje protiv Poljakinje Arlete Podolak koja pobjeđuje nakon tri opomene.

Hrvatska džudađica Ana Viktorija Puljiz osvojila je brončanu medalju u kategoriji do 52 kilograma na IJF "grand slam" turniru u Antalyji.

U borbi za brončanu medalju Puljiz se susrela s četvrtom nositeljicom turnira, Talijankom Odette Giuffridom. Iako je bogatija za dvije olimpijske medalje, Talijanka je jednostavno bila nemoćna protiv 22-godišnje Solinjanke, koja je u konačnici osvojila medalju nakon tri opomene.

"Brončana medalja, druga medalja u dva tjedna, druga medalja na ‘grand slamu‘. Stvarno nemam riječi za opisati, presretna sam, imala sam pet teških borbi, ali drago mi je da sam uspjela završiti dan s medaljom. Stvarno sam se super osjećala, dala sve od sebe, imala sam prvu borbu jako tešku protivnicu, Mongolku koja nastupa za Emirate i od nje sam izgubila prije dvije godine u Zagrebu i drago mi je da sam je sada dobila. Za treće mjesto sam dobila dvostruku olimpijsku medalju, svjetsku i europsku medaljašicu. Samo mogu reći da sam prezahvalna, presretna, idemo treniramo dalje za nadolazeće Europsko prvenstvo u Zagrebu", kazala je Puljiz.

Puljiz je prikupila i 500 bodova u borbi za plasman na Olimpijske igre u Parizu, očekuje se da će nakon turnira skočiti sa 27. pozicije na 18. mjesto svjetske rang ljestvice. Trenutačnu situaciju prokomentirao je trener ženskih reprezentacija, Dragan Crnov: 

"Naravno, put prema Parizu se lagano otvara. Napravili smo nekoliko odličnih rezultata, posebno ova dva tjedna gdje smo osvojili dvije medalje na ‘grand slamu‘. Za Vikicu je ovaj put puno teži, jer u prvoj godini kvalifikacija nije nastupala zbog ozljede, međutim u ovoj drugoj godini kvalifikacija ima jako puno bodova i sada se borimo da bi ostvarili plasman na OI.
