Zaraza koronavirusom, a u posljednje vrijeme riječ je uglavnom o omikron-varijanti, sve više se širi među djecom, osobito školskog uzrasta.

Epidemiolozi Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo (HZJZ) upozoravaju ovih dana kako je u prva tri tjedna 2022. godine zabilježeno više od 25 tisuća djece pozitivne na koronavirus, koliko ih je lani evidentirano sve zajedno u prvih deset mjeseci.

Podaci HZJZ-a pokazuju da je trenutačno COVID pozitivno nešto manje od 17 tisuća djece, od kojih je oko 3,5 tisuća predškolskog uzrasta, a oko 13 tisuća osnovnoškolske i srednjoškolske dobi. Najviše ih je uzrasta od petog do osmog razreda osnovne škole.

Ne stignu pobrojati

Konkretno, Ministarstvo znanosti i obrazovanja izvijestilo je u utorak kako je ukupan broj učenika u osnovnim i srednjim školama pozitivnih na COVID-19 trenutačno 12.220, a djelatnika u školama visokih 1810. Uz to, u samoizolaciji je najmanje 6766 učenika i 228 djelatnika, s tim da iz HZJZ-a napominju kako podatke o samoizolacijama treba uzeti sa zadrškom jer zbog velikog broja samoizolacija djelatnici Zavoda ne stignu unijeti sve podatke.

Više od 200 škola u ovome trenutku radi online i njihov broj se iz dana u dan povećava.

Međutim, dobro je što udio školske djece u ukupnim brojevima novooboljelih ipak ne prednjači, kao što je to bilo lani pred blagdan Svih svetih, kada je gotovo četvrtina svih novozaraženih dolazila iz učeničke populacije. Prema zadnjim podacima od utorka, novozaraženih učenika u protekla 24 sata bilo je 1616, što je udio od oko deset posto u ukupnom broju novooboljelih u općoj populaciji.

Naravno, složni su epidemiolozi, nitko ne može biti zadovoljan procijepljenošću protiv koronavirusa među djecom, koja je na iznimno niskim granama otkad je ljetos počelo cijepljenje djece od 12 do 16 godina, a od sredine prosinca prošle godine i onih mlađih, od pet do 11 godina.

– Procijepljenost djece nije dobra, iako smo to preporučivali od početka registriranja cjepiva za djecu – upozorila je Ivana Pavić Šimetin, zamjenica ravnatelja HZJZ-a, za HRT-ov Studio 4 te iznijela neke od podataka.

Situacija je sljedeća: dosad je među djecom od pet do 11 godina u cijeloj Hrvatskoj najmanje prvom dozom cijepljeno svega 0,33 posto mališana, ili njih oko 900, u dobi od 12 do 14 godina njih 6,62 posto, ili oko osam tisuća, dok je najbolja procijepljenost u srednjoškolskoj dobnoj skupini od 15 do 19 godina, i to nešto iznad 30 posto (30,15 posto) ili ukupno oko 59 tisuća. Tako proizlazi da je u cijeloj Hrvatskoj dosad cijepljeno oko 68 tisuća djece i mladih od pet do 19 godina, ili oko 11,6 posto te populacije.

Ništa ozbiljno

Brojke su za Splitsko-dalmatinsku županiju još poraznije. Kako nam je prenijela doc. prim. dr. sc. Željka Karin, ravnateljica županijskoga Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo i specijalistica školske medicine, dosad je u toj županiji protiv koronavirusa cijepljeno svega 1104 djece i mladih u dobi do 19 godina. Usporede li se te brojke s onima Državnog zavoda za statistiku o ukupnoj populaciji djece i mladih od pet do 19 godina u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji (nešto manje od 70 tisuća), proizlazi da je u našoj županiji procijepljenost među tim uzrastom svega oko 1,5 posto.

Ipak, i dr. Karin, kao i većina njezinih kolega, ističe kako omikron u djece u najvećem broju slučajeva nema ozbiljnijih simptoma te je poželjno što dulje zadržati mlade u nastavi uživo, naravno ondje gdje je to moguće te uz pridržavanje svih epidemioloških mjera.

– Znamo da djeca izvan škole puno teže funkcioniraju. Više puta je ukazano na to da ih treba poštedjeti psihofizičkih poteškoća koje može izazvati dugotrajan boravak u kući – ističe doktorica Karin, koja nije zadovoljna brojem cijepljene djece u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji.

– Broj cijepljene djece u našoj je županiji premali. Vidimo da se omikron dosta brzo širi i u općoj populaciji, pa tako i među djecom, koja u školama dolaze u više kontakata i više ih se okuplja na jednome mjestu. Srećom, on u djece izaziva blažu kliničku sliku – ističe prim. dr. Karin. Dodaje i kako je dobro cijepiti djecu dok su mlađa, jer u toj dobi, osobito kada su cijepljena dvjema dozama, stvaraju bolji imunitet nego odrasli.

– Tu su iste pretpostavke kao i za sva druga cjepiva. Djeca cijepljena u mlađoj dobi stvaraju bolji imunosni odgovor od onih u starijoj dobi – objašnjava dr. Karin.

U prva tri tjedna 2022. godine zabilježeno je više od 25 tisuća djece pozitivne na koronavirus, koliko ih je lani evidentirano sve zajedno u prvih deset mjeseci. Trenutačno je COVID pozitivno nešto manje od 17 tisuća djece

Zaraza koronavirusom, a u posljednje vrijeme riječ je uglavnom o omikron-varijanti, sve više se širi među djecom, osobito školskog uzrasta.

Epidemiolozi Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo (HZJZ) upozoravaju ovih dana kako je u prva tri tjedna 2022. godine zabilježeno više od 25 tisuća djece pozitivne na koronavirus, koliko ih je lani evidentirano sve zajedno u prvih deset mjeseci.

Podaci HZJZ-a pokazuju da je trenutačno COVID pozitivno nešto manje od 17 tisuća djece, od kojih je oko 3,5 tisuća predškolskog uzrasta, a oko 13 tisuća osnovnoškolske i srednjoškolske dobi. Najviše ih je uzrasta od petog do osmog razreda osnovne škole.

Ne stignu pobrojati

Konkretno, Ministarstvo znanosti i obrazovanja izvijestilo je u utorak kako je ukupan broj učenika u osnovnim i srednjim školama pozitivnih na COVID-19 trenutačno 12.220, a djelatnika u školama visokih 1810. Uz to, u samoizolaciji je najmanje 6766 učenika i 228 djelatnika, s tim da iz HZJZ-a napominju kako podatke o samoizolacijama treba uzeti sa zadrškom jer zbog velikog broja samoizolacija djelatnici Zavoda ne stignu unijeti sve podatke.

Više od 200 škola u ovome trenutku radi online i njihov broj se iz dana u dan povećava.

Međutim, dobro je što udio školske djece u ukupnim brojevima novooboljelih ipak ne prednjači, kao što je to bilo lani pred blagdan Svih svetih, kada je gotovo četvrtina svih novozaraženih dolazila iz učeničke populacije. Prema zadnjim podacima od utorka, novozaraženih učenika u protekla 24 sata bilo je 1616, što je udio od oko deset posto u ukupnom broju novooboljelih u općoj populaciji.

Naravno, složni su epidemiolozi, nitko ne može biti zadovoljan procijepljenošću protiv koronavirusa među djecom, koja je na iznimno niskim granama otkad je ljetos počelo cijepljenje djece od 12 do 16 godina, a od sredine prosinca prošle godine i onih mlađih, od pet do 11 godina.

– Procijepljenost djece nije dobra, iako smo to preporučivali od početka registriranja cjepiva za djecu – upozorila je Ivana Pavić Šimetin, zamjenica ravnatelja HZJZ-a, za HRT-ov Studio 4 te iznijela neke od podataka.

Situacija je sljedeća: dosad je među djecom od pet do 11 godina u cijeloj Hrvatskoj najmanje prvom dozom cijepljeno svega 0,33 posto mališana, ili njih oko 900, u dobi od 12 do 14 godina njih 6,62 posto, ili oko osam tisuća, dok je najbolja procijepljenost u srednjoškolskoj dobnoj skupini od 15 do 19 godina, i to nešto iznad 30 posto (30,15 posto) ili ukupno oko 59 tisuća. Tako proizlazi da je u cijeloj Hrvatskoj dosad cijepljeno oko 68 tisuća djece i mladih od pet do 19 godina, ili oko 11,6 posto te populacije.

Ništa ozbiljno

Brojke su za Splitsko-dalmatinsku županiju još poraznije. Kako nam je prenijela doc. prim. dr. sc. Željka Karin, ravnateljica županijskoga Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo i specijalistica školske medicine, dosad je u toj županiji protiv koronavirusa cijepljeno svega 1104 djece i mladih u dobi do 19 godina. Usporede li se te brojke s onima Državnog zavoda za statistiku o ukupnoj populaciji djece i mladih od pet do 19 godina u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji (nešto manje od 70 tisuća), proizlazi da je u našoj županiji procijepljenost među tim uzrastom svega oko 1,5 posto.

Ipak, i dr. Karin, kao i većina njezinih kolega, ističe kako omikron u djece u najvećem broju slučajeva nema ozbiljnijih simptoma te je poželjno što dulje zadržati mlade u nastavi uživo, naravno ondje gdje je to moguće te uz pridržavanje svih epidemioloških mjera.

– Znamo da djeca izvan škole puno teže funkcioniraju. Više puta je ukazano na to da ih treba poštedjeti psihofizičkih poteškoća koje može izazvati dugotrajan boravak u kući – ističe doktorica Karin, koja nije zadovoljna brojem cijepljene djece u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji.

– Broj cijepljene djece u našoj je županiji premali. Vidimo da se omikron dosta brzo širi i u općoj populaciji, pa tako i među djecom, koja u školama dolaze u više kontakata i više ih se okuplja na jednome mjestu. Srećom, on u djece izaziva blažu kliničku sliku – ističe prim. dr. Karin. Dodaje i kako je dobro cijepiti djecu dok su mlađa, jer u toj dobi, osobito kada su cijepljena dvjema dozama, stvaraju bolji imunitet nego odrasli.

– Tu su iste pretpostavke kao i za sva druga cjepiva. Djeca cijepljena u mlađoj dobi stvaraju bolji imunosni odgovor od onih u starijoj dobi – objašnjava dr. Karin.
