– Smatram da je važno ne podleći krivom pristupu da sami od grada radimo veći problem nego što je, ali je činjenica da problemi postoje i moramo ih rješavati – referirao se splitski gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak na prizore s "nestašnim" turistima kojima su prepravljene društvene mreže i internetski portali.
Nakon redovnog sastanka s načelnikom PU splitsko-dalmatinske, poručio je da je Split siguran grad koji je suočen s određenim izazovima. Mladi turisti koji punim plućima uživaju u Splitu, bit će pod pojačanim nadzorom policijskih ophodnji u pratnji komunalnih redara.

– Promijenio se i trend u svijetu. Prije desetak godina bio je trend da se ne vidi prisutnost policije u gradu, a sada se traži njihova očita prisutnost u uniformama, a ne u civilu. Baš smo danas razgovarali o tome. Najavljen je idući tjedan dolazak dodatnih snaga s kontinenta, zaposlit će i vježbenike te dovode strane policajce kako bi se pojačala njihova prisutnost, a tijekom noćnih sati će zajedno s redarima obilaziti grad – najavio je Puljak.
Na upit novinara razmišlja li se o povećanju broja komunalnih redara, odgovorio je potvrdno, ali fokus ne žele stavljati na kazne i represiju, već na traženje dobrog balansa između turizma i života.

– Puno ljudi živi od turizma i to je glavna grana naše ekonomije, mi želimo da bude vrlo važan faktor za razvoj ostatka ekonomije. Ne želimo da Split postane represivan grad, ne želimo poslati pogrešnu poruku da netko nije dobrodošao, već da se moraju normalno ponašati – rekao je gradonačelnik i otkrio kako su u kontaktu s veleposlanstvima i konzulatima. Pojačat će se i promotivne aktivnosti, kako bi se proširila informacija da su svi dobrodošli u Split, da su nam dragi, ali da se moraju ponašati normalno, kao i u svojim zemljama.
– Uz pomoć veleposlanika i konzula se proširila ta informacija i javljaju nam se strani mediji kako bi se raspitali o čemu je riječ. Uz to, stavljat će se i dodatni znakovi upozorenja, imamo i zanimljivu novu brošuru kojom ćemo pokušati skrenuti pažnju turistima. Problem je što su svi zasićeni informacijama i teško je pridobiti njihovu pažnju – objasnio je čelni čovjek grada.
Drugačija struktura
Ove godine je možda više primjetna drugačija struktura gostiju koja se nije dogodila preko noći, niti će se promijeniti preko noći.

– Imamo 20 posto više dolazaka i 30 posto više noćenja nego 2019. godine, u strukturi gostiju je malo više mlađih, ali je takav trend u svijetu. No, to donosi izazove, mi moramo odgovoriti na njih i radimo sve što možemo – rekao je. Smatra i da su najveći problem klubovi u centru grada i pub crawl ture s koje domaćima zadaju glavobolje. Najavio je kako je policija pronašla način na koji se može boriti protiv horde pijanih turista koji se premještaju iz kafića u kafić. Kasnije naši mladi gosti, ali i domaći trpe posljedice prekomjernog ispijanja alkohola. Na takav izazov pokušat će reagirati policijom. Što se tiče klubova, za Puljka je jasno tko je tu kriv.

– Njihovo otvaranje je odobrilo Ministarstvo kulture i Županija. Premda su za svaku promjenu djelatnosti u staroj gradskoj jezgri konzervatori trebali pitati gradonačelnika, nisu to napravili. Zamolili smo Županiju da za neke od tih klubova napravi reviziju minimalnih tehničkih uvjeta jer se nas nikad nije pitalo za odobrenje. Mi nismo protiv disko-klubova, ali mogu biti na periferiji, pa neće nikome smetati. Mi smo mediteranski grad, moramo biti živ grad, ali mi nemamo partnera u Županiji i Ministarstvu kulture, jer nam ne pomažu riješiti taj problem – poručio je i najavio kako će poduzeti određene radnje kako bi pokušali zaustaviti njihov rad barem u staroj gradskoj jezgri, zoni A.

– Smatram da je važno ne podleći krivom pristupu da sami od grada radimo veći problem nego što je, ali je činjenica da problemi postoje i moramo ih rješavati – referirao se splitski gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak na prizore s "nestašnim" turistima kojima su prepravljene društvene mreže i internetski portali.
Nakon redovnog sastanka s načelnikom PU splitsko-dalmatinske, poručio je da je Split siguran grad koji je suočen s određenim izazovima. Mladi turisti koji punim plućima uživaju u Splitu, bit će pod pojačanim nadzorom policijskih ophodnji u pratnji komunalnih redara.

– Promijenio se i trend u svijetu. Prije desetak godina bio je trend da se ne vidi prisutnost policije u gradu, a sada se traži njihova očita prisutnost u uniformama, a ne u civilu. Baš smo danas razgovarali o tome. Najavljen je idući tjedan dolazak dodatnih snaga s kontinenta, zaposlit će i vježbenike te dovode strane policajce kako bi se pojačala njihova prisutnost, a tijekom noćnih sati će zajedno s redarima obilaziti grad – najavio je Puljak.
Na upit novinara razmišlja li se o povećanju broja komunalnih redara, odgovorio je potvrdno, ali fokus ne žele stavljati na kazne i represiju, već na traženje dobrog balansa između turizma i života.

– Puno ljudi živi od turizma i to je glavna grana naše ekonomije, mi želimo da bude vrlo važan faktor za razvoj ostatka ekonomije. Ne želimo da Split postane represivan grad, ne želimo poslati pogrešnu poruku da netko nije dobrodošao, već da se moraju normalno ponašati – rekao je gradonačelnik i otkrio kako su u kontaktu s veleposlanstvima i konzulatima. Pojačat će se i promotivne aktivnosti, kako bi se proširila informacija da su svi dobrodošli u Split, da su nam dragi, ali da se moraju ponašati normalno, kao i u svojim zemljama.
– Uz pomoć veleposlanika i konzula se proširila ta informacija i javljaju nam se strani mediji kako bi se raspitali o čemu je riječ. Uz to, stavljat će se i dodatni znakovi upozorenja, imamo i zanimljivu novu brošuru kojom ćemo pokušati skrenuti pažnju turistima. Problem je što su svi zasićeni informacijama i teško je pridobiti njihovu pažnju – objasnio je čelni čovjek grada.
Drugačija struktura
Ove godine je možda više primjetna drugačija struktura gostiju koja se nije dogodila preko noći, niti će se promijeniti preko noći.

– Imamo 20 posto više dolazaka i 30 posto više noćenja nego 2019. godine, u strukturi gostiju je malo više mlađih, ali je takav trend u svijetu. No, to donosi izazove, mi moramo odgovoriti na njih i radimo sve što možemo – rekao je. Smatra i da su najveći problem klubovi u centru grada i pub crawl ture s koje domaćima zadaju glavobolje. Najavio je kako je policija pronašla način na koji se može boriti protiv horde pijanih turista koji se premještaju iz kafića u kafić. Kasnije naši mladi gosti, ali i domaći trpe posljedice prekomjernog ispijanja alkohola. Na takav izazov pokušat će reagirati policijom. Što se tiče klubova, za Puljka je jasno tko je tu kriv.

– Njihovo otvaranje je odobrilo Ministarstvo kulture i Županija. Premda su za svaku promjenu djelatnosti u staroj gradskoj jezgri konzervatori trebali pitati gradonačelnika, nisu to napravili. Zamolili smo Županiju da za neke od tih klubova napravi reviziju minimalnih tehničkih uvjeta jer se nas nikad nije pitalo za odobrenje. Mi nismo protiv disko-klubova, ali mogu biti na periferiji, pa neće nikome smetati. Mi smo mediteranski grad, moramo biti živ grad, ali mi nemamo partnera u Županiji i Ministarstvu kulture, jer nam ne pomažu riješiti taj problem – poručio je i najavio kako će poduzeti određene radnje kako bi pokušali zaustaviti njihov rad barem u staroj gradskoj jezgri, zoni A.
