Usred Marjana, s rajske južne strane, u srijedu poslijepodne događao se pravi maslinocid! Na iznenađenje slobodnih penjača koji treniraju na Šantinim stinama, nešto iza 16 sati su pod Karepićevom eremitažom zatekli kombi zadarskih registarskih oznaka (poslali su ih upravi Javne ustanove za upravljanje park-šumom Marjan) iz kojeg je izašla ekipa dobro raspoloženih berača maslina.

- Ono što je uslijedilo naprosto nas je šokiralo: umjesto da poberu te masline na način kako se to radi, počeli su pilati, lomiti grane, čak i debla. Tek kad bi ih polomili, pobrali bi plodove. Kada su nas vidjeli počeli su se povlačiti, ali iza sebe su ostavili totalni kaos, doslovno su masakrirali jadna stabla u strogo zaštićenoj zoni!

Pokupili su pile, škare, kašete i prostrike i otišli, ali šteta koju su napravili ne može se ispraviti niti proći bez posljedica. S obzirom da su imali toliku količinu alata i da su došli starim bijelim kombijem do proširenja ispod crkve Sv. Jere, najprije smo mislili kako je riječ o djelatnicima Park-šume Marjan, jer su prošli kontrolnu rampu.

No, u četvrtak sam razgovarao s jednim djelatnikom koji je bio iznenađen ovim incidentom te me uputio na prijavu upravi Javne ustanove za upravljanje park-šumom Marjan, što smo i napravili – ispričao nam je jedan od slobodnih penjača, koji se godinama brinu da ne naruše prirodni sklad njegovih južnih padina.

Kako je moguće da se nešto ovakvoga dogodi u granicama zaštićene splitske park-šume, morat će odgovoriti Javna ustanova zadužena za skrb o Marjanu kojima smo uputili upit.

Na iznenađenje slobodnih penjača koji treniraju na Šantinim stinama, nešto iza 16 sati su pod Karepićevom eremitažom zatekli kombi zadarskih registarskih oznaka (poslali su ih upravi Javne ustanove za upravljanje park-šumom Marjan) iz kojeg je izašla ekipa dobro raspoloženih berača maslina.

- Ono što je uslijedilo naprosto nas je šokiralo: umjesto da poberu te masline na način kako se to radi, počeli su pilati, lomiti grane, čak i debla. Tek kad bi ih polomili, pobrali bi plodove. Kada su nas vidjeli počeli su se povlačiti, ali iza sebe su ostavili totalni kaos, doslovno su masakrirali jadna stabla u strogo zaštićenoj zoni!

Pokupili su pile, škare, kašete i prostrike i otišli, ali šteta koju su napravili ne može se ispraviti niti proći bez posljedica. S obzirom da su imali toliku količinu alata i da su došli starim bijelim kombijem do proširenja ispod crkve Sv. Jere, najprije smo mislili kako je riječ o djelatnicima Park-šume Marjan, jer su prošli kontrolnu rampu.

No, u četvrtak sam razgovarao s jednim djelatnikom koji je bio iznenađen ovim incidentom te me uputio na prijavu upravi Javne ustanove za upravljanje park-šumom Marjan, što smo i napravili – ispričao nam je jedan od slobodnih penjača, koji se godinama brinu da ne naruše prirodni sklad njegovih južnih padina.

Kako je moguće da se nešto ovakvoga dogodi u granicama zaštićene splitske park-šume, morat će odgovoriti Javna ustanova zadužena za skrb o Marjanu kojima smo uputili upit.

Usred Marjana, s rajske južne strane, u srijedu poslijepodne događao se pravi maslinocid!
