Udruga "Sindrom Down 21" iz Splita već više od 20 godina organizira terapeutske radionice za djecu i odrasle s Down sindromom čime im pomaže u razvoju ključnih kognitivnih funkcija te psihomotoričkih i socijalnih vještina.

U organizaciji i realizaciji radionica pomaže 42 volontera koji rade bez ikakve naknade, a stručni kadar i oprema se financiraju donacijama, prodajom radova korisnika udruge na štandovima diljem grada, izradom pozivnica za vjenčanja, humanitarnim akcijama i koncertima. Zbog epidemiološke situacije, u 2020. godini većinu akcija nije bilo moguće održati, pa će udruga uskoro ostati bez sredstava za rad. Pomoć su odlučili potražiti putem internet stranice "GoGetFunding".

- Oni su naša djeca, a bez angažmana u Udruzi su se već počeli povlačiti u sebe. Pomozite nam da našoj djeci nastavimo pružati sigurno utočište za razvoj i omogućimo im osnovni i neprestani napredak kako bi i dalje mogli obogaćivati naše i vaše živote. Oni nam imaju toliko toga za dati! Vrtićke skupine, razredi u školi i sva druga mjesta gdje se uklope, zahvaljujući njima uče empatiju, uče što je ljubav i što su prave životne vrijednosti. Predsjednik udruge Davor Bučević kaže da nije bilo drugog načina. Sredstva kojim trenutno raspolažu dovoljna su da nastave funkcionirati još maksimalno tri mjeseca, nakon čega će, ako stanje ostane isto, morati obustaviti brojne aktivnosti.

- Sredstvima udruge financiramo defektologa, fizikalnog i glazbenog terapeuta. Također, skupa s roditeljima financiramo i radionice za govor koje su bitne za djecu najmanje dobi kako bi im se ojačali i pravilno razvili mišići lica. Opremili smo i kuhinju u kojoj djecu učimo kuhati, zatim plesne radionice kroz koje djeca uče stare splitske plesove... Imamo jako puno aktivnosti, ali problem su uvijek financijska sredstva - kaže Bučević.

Osim u aktivnostima u organizaciji udruge, korisnici sudjeluju i u projektu "Fotografije u službi socijalne inkluzije osoba s Down sindromom" udruge Prokultura kroz koji uče fotografirati te turnirima "Specijalne lige" (Special Power League) u organizaciji Hrvatskog nogometnog saveza, koje je podržao i HNK Hajduk.

Sve te aktivnosti pomažu im u socijalizaciji, a pozitivno utječu i na ukupnu zdravstvenu situaciju.

- Djeca s Downovim sindromom, ukoliko nisu aktivna, lakše nakupljaju kilograme što im utječe na zdravlje. U udruzi se trudimo stalno ih držati angažiranima kroz radionice, imaju svoje obaveze koje moraju odraditi i dosad imamo fantastične rezultate. Jačanjem mišića lica kroz radionice za govor postižemo da sasvim mala djeca drže bocu i jedu kao da nemaju Down, imali smo djece koja nisu govorila ili nisu bila socijalizirana, a sada bez problema funkcioniraju u društvu i sudjeluju u raznim aktivnostima. To je dobrobit koju imaju od ovih radionica - uključivanje u društvo u kojem žive - zaključuje Bučević.

Udruga "Sindrom Down21" broji 71 člana u dobi od rođenja do 40 godina, a osnovni troškovi za stručne voditelje, materijale i drugu opremu za radionice mjesečno iznose oko 30 tisuća kuna. Kroz kampanju na internet stranici "GoGetFunding" pokušavaju prikupiti dovoljno sredstava da osiguraju rad u cijeloj 2021. godini, ali svaka kuna im je važna. Udruga "Sindrom Down 21" iz Splita već više od 20 godina organizira terapeutske radionice za djecu i odrasle s Down sindromom čime im pomaže u razvoju ključnih kognitivnih funkcija te psihomotoričkih i socijalnih vještina.

U organizaciji i realizaciji radionica pomaže 42 volontera koji rade bez ikakve naknade, a stručni kadar i oprema se financiraju donacijama, prodajom radova korisnika udruge na štandovima diljem grada, izradom pozivnica za vjenčanja, humanitarnim akcijama i koncertima. Zbog epidemiološke situacije, u 2020. godini većinu akcija nije bilo moguće održati, pa će udruga uskoro ostati bez sredstava za rad. Pomoć su odlučili potražiti putem internet stranice "GoGetFunding".

- Oni su naša djeca, a bez angažmana u Udruzi su se već počeli povlačiti u sebe. Pomozite nam da našoj djeci nastavimo pružati sigurno utočište za razvoj i omogućimo im osnovni i neprestani napredak kako bi i dalje mogli obogaćivati naše i vaše živote. Oni nam imaju toliko toga za dati! Vrtićke skupine, razredi u školi i sva druga mjesta gdje se uklope, zahvaljujući njima uče empatiju, uče što je ljubav i što su prave životne vrijednosti. Ne dajte da nas ovo rastavi! - stoji u opisu kampanje koja je u dva dana prikupila tek 39 dolara, odnosno oko 250 kuna.

Predsjednik udruge Davor Bučević kaže da nije bilo drugog načina. Sredstva kojim trenutno raspolažu dovoljna su da nastave funkcionirati još maksimalno tri mjeseca, nakon čega će, ako stanje ostane isto, morati obustaviti brojne aktivnosti.

- Sredstvima udruge financiramo defektologa, fizikalnog i glazbenog terapeuta. Također, skupa s roditeljima financiramo i radionice za govor koje su bitne za djecu najmanje dobi kako bi im se ojačali i pravilno razvili mišići lica. Opremili smo i kuhinju u kojoj djecu učimo kuhati, zatim plesne radionice kroz koje djeca uče stare splitske plesove... Imamo jako puno aktivnosti, ali problem su uvijek financijska sredstva - kaže Bučević.

Osim u aktivnostima u organizaciji udruge, korisnici sudjeluju i u projektu "Fotografije u službi socijalne inkluzije osoba s Down sindromom" udruge Prokultura kroz koji uče fotografirati te turnirima "Specijalne lige" (Special Power League) u organizaciji Hrvatskog nogometnog saveza, koje je podržao i HNK Hajduk.

Sve te aktivnosti pomažu im u socijalizaciji, a pozitivno utječu i na ukupnu zdravstvenu situaciju.

- Djeca s Downovim sindromom, ukoliko nisu aktivna, lakše nakupljaju kilograme što im utječe na zdravlje. U udruzi se trudimo stalno ih držati angažiranima kroz radionice, imaju svoje obaveze koje moraju odraditi i dosad imamo fantastične rezultate. Jačanjem mišića lica kroz radionice za govor postižemo da sasvim mala djeca drže bocu i jedu kao da nemaju Down, imali smo djece koja nisu govorila ili nisu bila socijalizirana, a sada bez problema funkcioniraju u društvu i sudjeluju u raznim aktivnostima. To je dobrobit koju imaju od ovih radionica - uključivanje u društvo u kojem žive - zaključuje Bučević.

Udruga "Sindrom Down21" broji 71 člana u dobi od rođenja do 40 godina, a osnovni troškovi za stručne voditelje, materijale i drugu opremu za radionice mjesečno iznose oko 30 tisuća kuna. Kroz kampanju na internet stranici "GoGetFunding" pokušavaju prikupiti dovoljno sredstava da osiguraju rad u cijeloj 2021. godini, ali svaka kuna im je važna.
