Iz Austrije su jučer stigli rezultati uzoraka testova igrača Hajduka koji su pokazali kako je kod svih 11 testiranih igrača potvrđena zaraza britanskim sojem, što nam je potvrdila i dr. Željka Karin, ravnateljica Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo Splitsko-dalmatinske županije.
- Krajem veljače su rezultati iz Zagreba pokazali kako je britanski soj potvrđen kod dvojice igrača, ali svi ti uzorci poslani su i u Austriju. Jučer smo dobili rezultate da je kod 11 igrača zabilježen britanski soj.
Pojedinačno imamo još dva slučajeva kod kojih je potvrđeno da je riječ o britanskom soju te nisu vezani za veću grupaciju. Također, na testiranje smo dodatno poslali i uzorke iz zatvora na Bilicama i iz jedne ustanove za skrb o starijim i nemoćnim osoba te njihove rezultate još čekamo. Kako je riječ o soju koji se brzo širi za očekivati je da će se i tu potvrditi britanski soj, objasnila nam je dr. Karin.
Ističe kako upravo zbog činjenice da je britanski soj ušao među populaciju naše županije moramo biti puno oprezniji.
- Moramo biti svjesni da je moguće da zabilježimo i druge sojeve. Virus mutira i nismo sigurno samo zato što postoji cjepivo. Tek smo se počeli cijepiti i treba proći još puno mjeseci dok se procijepimo u zadovoljavajućem postotku. Moramo biti na visokom oprezu i dalje se strogo pridržavati epidemioloških mjera koje su na snazi jer je to još uvijek jedini način čuvanja dok se ne procijepimo - poručuje dr. Karin.
Prema podacima Ureda za nacionalnu statistiku u Velikoj Britaniji, najčešći simptomi britanskog soja koronavirusa su kašalj, grlobolja, umor i bolovi u mišićima. Dosadašnji podaci ukazuju na tu da osobe zaražene ovim sojem koronavirusa manje doživljavaju gubitak mirisa i okusa, prenosi N1.
Analiza koja je prikupljala podatke o simptomima nije pokazala razlike u prevalenciji gastrointestinalnih simptoma (poput mučnine i proljeva), otežanog disanja ili bolova u trbuhu.
Lawrence Young, virolog i profesor molekularne onkologije sa Sveučilišta Warwick u Velikoj Britaniji, naveo je da mutacije u britanskom soju mogu utjecati i na simptome kod zaraženih osoba.
“Ova varijanta virusa brže se prenosi i čini se da zaražene osobe imaju veće opterećenje virusom, što znači da proizvode više virusa. To bi moglo rezultirati raširenijom infekcijom u tijelu, što može uzrokovati jači kašalj, bolove u mišićima i umor”, kazao je Young.
“Osim toga, kod ovog soja su zabilježene 23 promjene u odnosu na izvorni soj, a neke od tih promjena mogu utjecati i na imunološki odgovor tijela te na raspon simptoma povezanih s infekcijom”, dodao je.
Richard Tedder, viši istraživač u medicinskoj virologiji, istaknuo je da bi promjena simptoma, osobito onih koji su povezani s infekcijom gornjih dišnih puteva, mogla biti jedan od razloga zašto se ovaj soj brže prenosi.
“Kašalj i kihanje mogu značajno povećati količinu virusa koji se širi u okruženju”, kazao je Tedder za Huff Post govoreći o britanskom soju virusa.
Čak i male promjene u simptomima mogu izazvati velike promjene i utjecati na to da se virus lakše širi i prenosi među ljudima, dodao je Tedder. Pojasnio je da upravo zbog toga treba održavati distancu i nositi masku jer te preventivne mjere mogu smanjiti količinu virusa koju zaražena osoba može širiti.

Iz Austrije su jučer stigli rezultati uzoraka testova igrača Hajduka koji su pokazali kako je kod svih 11 testiranih igrača potvrđena zaraza britanskim sojem, što nam je potvrdila i dr. Željka Karin, ravnateljica Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo Splitsko-dalmatinske županije.
- Krajem veljače su rezultati iz Zagreba pokazali kako je britanski soj potvrđen kod dvojice igrača, ali svi ti uzorci poslani su i u Austriju. Jučer smo dobili rezultate da je kod 11 igrača zabilježen britanski soj.
Pojedinačno imamo još dva slučajeva kod kojih je potvrđeno da je riječ o britanskom soju te nisu vezani za veću grupaciju. Također, na testiranje smo dodatno poslali i uzorke iz zatvora na Bilicama i iz jedne ustanove za skrb o starijim i nemoćnim osoba te njihove rezultate još čekamo. Kako je riječ o soju koji se brzo širi za očekivati je da će se i tu potvrditi britanski soj, objasnila nam je dr. Karin.
Ističe kako upravo zbog činjenice da je britanski soj ušao među populaciju naše županije moramo biti puno oprezniji.
- Moramo biti svjesni da je moguće da zabilježimo i druge sojeve. Virus mutira i nismo sigurno samo zato što postoji cjepivo. Tek smo se počeli cijepiti i treba proći još puno mjeseci dok se procijepimo u zadovoljavajućem postotku. Moramo biti na visokom oprezu i dalje se strogo pridržavati epidemioloških mjera koje su na snazi jer je to još uvijek jedini način čuvanja dok se ne procijepimo - poručuje dr. Karin.
Prema podacima Ureda za nacionalnu statistiku u Velikoj Britaniji, najčešći simptomi britanskog soja koronavirusa su kašalj, grlobolja, umor i bolovi u mišićima. Dosadašnji podaci ukazuju na tu da osobe zaražene ovim sojem koronavirusa manje doživljavaju gubitak mirisa i okusa, prenosi N1.
Analiza koja je prikupljala podatke o simptomima nije pokazala razlike u prevalenciji gastrointestinalnih simptoma (poput mučnine i proljeva), otežanog disanja ili bolova u trbuhu.
Lawrence Young, virolog i profesor molekularne onkologije sa Sveučilišta Warwick u Velikoj Britaniji, naveo je da mutacije u britanskom soju mogu utjecati i na simptome kod zaraženih osoba.
“Ova varijanta virusa brže se prenosi i čini se da zaražene osobe imaju veće opterećenje virusom, što znači da proizvode više virusa. To bi moglo rezultirati raširenijom infekcijom u tijelu, što može uzrokovati jači kašalj, bolove u mišićima i umor”, kazao je Young.
“Osim toga, kod ovog soja su zabilježene 23 promjene u odnosu na izvorni soj, a neke od tih promjena mogu utjecati i na imunološki odgovor tijela te na raspon simptoma povezanih s infekcijom”, dodao je.
Richard Tedder, viši istraživač u medicinskoj virologiji, istaknuo je da bi promjena simptoma, osobito onih koji su povezani s infekcijom gornjih dišnih puteva, mogla biti jedan od razloga zašto se ovaj soj brže prenosi.
“Kašalj i kihanje mogu značajno povećati količinu virusa koji se širi u okruženju”, kazao je Tedder za Huff Post govoreći o britanskom soju virusa.
Čak i male promjene u simptomima mogu izazvati velike promjene i utjecati na to da se virus lakše širi i prenosi među ljudima, dodao je Tedder. Pojasnio je da upravo zbog toga treba održavati distancu i nositi masku jer te preventivne mjere mogu smanjiti količinu virusa koju zaražena osoba može širiti.
