stdClass Object ( [id] => 170691 [title] => Obnova svjetionika čeka Svetog Nikolu [alias] => obnova-svjetionika-ceka-svetog-nikolu [catid] => 253 [published] => 1 [introtext] => [fulltext] => Kad su se splitski pomorci s razlogom ponadali da će nakon 20 godina propadanja svjetionika, spomenika palim pomorcima na Katalinića brigu, krenuti njegova obnova, dalje od obećanja Grada nisu stigli.

Podsjetimo, na prošlogodišnjem svečanu obilježavanju Svetog Nikole, podno svjetionika, Jure Šundov, zamjenik splitskoga gradonačelnika, javno je obećao podršku Grada, osnivanje radne grupe za obnovu, te prvi sastanak grupe koji je trebao biti u siječnju ove godine. No, do sastanka radne grupe uopće nije došlo. Kako nam kaže Anton Malger, potpredsjednik Sindikata pomoraca Hrvatske, koji su ujedno i glavni inicijatori obnove poznatog svjetionika, iz Banovine već pola godine “ni pisma ni razglednice”.

Razočarani odnosom Grada

-Niti smo održali sastanak, niti je krenula obnova na proljeće kako je bilo rečeno. Dogradonačenik nam se nakon blagdana svetog Nikole više nije javljao. Zvao sam osobno u više navrata njegovu tajnicu i ostavljao poruke da ga tražim. No, do uzvratnog poziva nikada nije došlo. Najblaže rečeno, to nije korektno ponašanje.

Osim toga, sada čekamo na imenovanje novog direktora “Plovputa”, pod čijom je nadležnošću svjetionik, te se nadam da će dati podršku obnovi. Odnosom grada prema velebnom spomeniku naših pomoraca totalno smo razočarani - ogorčeno će Malger, drugi čovjek Sindikata pomoraca. Tragom navoda iz Sindikata pomoraca kontaktirali smo s dogradonačelnikom Šundovom.

-Razumijem želje i žurbu pomoraca. Poručujem im da stojim iza svake svoje izgovorene riječi i uvjeren sam da će do idućeg Svetog Nikole krenuti obnova svjetionika. I vaš novinarski upit shvatit ću kao dodatni poticaj poslu. Premda imam mnogo obveza, odmah ću angažirati svoje suradnike da se posvete svjetioniku - kaže nam prozvani Šundov.

Sam svjetionik visok je 33 metra, ima ukupno 5860 komada “staklenih pepeljara” koje se nalaze u njegovoj fasadi a koje je potrebno zamijeniti. Svjetionik je oštećen izravnim pogotkom brodskog topa za vrijeme napada JRM-a 15. studenoga 1991. Kasnije je i zub vremena dodatno načeo svjetionik, te kosturnicu i reljef spomenika.

Simbol neustrašivosti mornara

Spomenik palom pomorcu otkriven je 10 rujna 1958. godine u povodu proslave 16. obljetnice osnivanja partizanske mornarice. Sastoji se od svjetionika, kosturnice i reljefa.

Arhitektonsko rješenje izradili su arhitekti: Paško Kuzmanić, Budimir Prvan, Branko Franičević i Ivan Carić. Reljef je djelo čuvenoga splitskog kipara Andrije Krstulovića, učenika i suradnika velikog Ivana Meštrovića. Sam reljef simbolizira neustrašivost dalmatinskih mornara koji su malim drvenim brodovima jurišali na neprijatelja.

Podsjetimo, na prošlogodišnjem svečanu obilježavanju Svetog Nikole, podno svjetionika, Jure Šundov, zamjenik splitskoga gradonačelnika, javno je obećao podršku Grada, osnivanje radne grupe za obnovu, te prvi sastanak grupe koji je trebao biti u siječnju ove godine. No, do sastanka radne grupe uopće nije došlo. Kako nam kaže Anton Malger, potpredsjednik Sindikata pomoraca Hrvatske, koji su ujedno i glavni inicijatori obnove poznatog svjetionika, iz Banovine već pola godine “ni pisma ni razglednice”.

Razočarani odnosom Grada

-Niti smo održali sastanak, niti je krenula obnova na proljeće kako je bilo rečeno. Dogradonačenik nam se nakon blagdana svetog Nikole više nije javljao. Zvao sam osobno u više navrata njegovu tajnicu i ostavljao poruke da ga tražim. No, do uzvratnog poziva nikada nije došlo. Najblaže rečeno, to nije korektno ponašanje.

Osim toga, sada čekamo na imenovanje novog direktora “Plovputa”, pod čijom je nadležnošću svjetionik, te se nadam da će dati podršku obnovi. Odnosom grada prema velebnom spomeniku naših pomoraca totalno smo razočarani - ogorčeno će Malger, drugi čovjek Sindikata pomoraca. Tragom navoda iz Sindikata pomoraca kontaktirali smo s dogradonačelnikom Šundovom.

-Razumijem želje i žurbu pomoraca. Poručujem im da stojim iza svake svoje izgovorene riječi i uvjeren sam da će do idućeg Svetog Nikole krenuti obnova svjetionika. I vaš novinarski upit shvatit ću kao dodatni poticaj poslu. Premda imam mnogo obveza, odmah ću angažirati svoje suradnike da se posvete svjetioniku - kaže nam prozvani Šundov.

Sam svjetionik visok je 33 metra, ima ukupno 5860 komada “staklenih pepeljara” koje se nalaze u njegovoj fasadi a koje je potrebno zamijeniti. Svjetionik je oštećen izravnim pogotkom brodskog topa za vrijeme napada JRM-a 15. studenoga 1991. Kasnije je i zub vremena dodatno načeo svjetionik, te kosturnicu i reljef spomenika.

Simbol neustrašivosti mornara

Spomenik palom pomorcu otkriven je 10 rujna 1958. godine u povodu proslave 16. obljetnice osnivanja partizanske mornarice. Sastoji se od svjetionika, kosturnice i reljefa.

Arhitektonsko rješenje izradili su arhitekti: Paško Kuzmanić, Budimir Prvan, Branko Franičević i Ivan Carić. Reljef je djelo čuvenoga splitskog kipara Andrije Krstulovića, učenika i suradnika velikog Ivana Meštrovića. Sam reljef simbolizira neustrašivost dalmatinskih mornara koji su malim drvenim brodovima jurišali na neprijatelja.
