Nakon što su mediji objavili priču o napadu psa vrste Jack Russel terijer na šestogodišnje dijete na jednoj od gradskoj plaži na Žnjanu gdje je psima zabranjen dolazak, oglasio se i Gradski kotar Žnjan putem Facebooka. Sve se dogodilo početkom kolovoza kada je pas bez povodca i brnjice, u blizini vlasnice napao dijete koje je s ocem došlo na kupanje. Došlo je do svađe u kojoj bi, prema informacijama iz policije, deblji kraj mogao izvući otac kojem prijeti i do 30 dana zatvora zbog remećenja javnog reda i mira.
Iz Gradskog kotara Žnjan u objavi na Facebooku, između ostalog, ističu kako je „zabranjeno voditi pse na javnim površinama bez povodca i puštanje kućnih ljubimaca bez nadzora” i „apeliraju na sve vlasnike pasa da ne smiju puštati pse na plažu, u gradske parkove, na dječja igrališta, sportske terene, prostore oko škola, dječjih vrtića, športskih objekata, doma zdravlja, groblja i druge javne površine”.

U komentarima su se javili građani koji ističu dva problema: pitanje izgradnje parka za pse i obilaska komunalnih redara.
Upravo je obilazak komunalnih redara nešto o čemu je upozorila i majka djeteta koje je pretrpjelo lakše tjelesne ozljede pitajući se „gdje su komunalni redari” i „zašto nikad ne dolaze na plažu”.
- Komunalnog redara nikad vidjela, ni po prijavi…a veterinarski inspektori obaraju rekorde svojom nezainteresiranošću i muljažom! A kazna je 200 kn sve da je netko i provede, besmislena!
- Kada će početi nadgledati redari i pisati kazne,još ni jednog nisam vidila,ja sa svojim psom zbog straha imam ograničene šetnje ajde pokrenite se!
- Potpisujem sve napisano, ali bih ipak postavila pitanje kada će se u našem kotaru (kao što postoji u drugim kotarima) napraviti park za pse?
- Potpuno ispravno. Ali isto gdje je park za pse na Žnjanu da adekvatno tome taj vlasnik može svog psa sigurno izvest da ne smeta drugim građanima na plazi?
Psi se mogu voditi bez udice na 23 lokacije, uključujući Žnjan. To obuhvaća prostor ispod Osnovne škole Mertojak i istočno od Odeske do Žnjanske ulice. Sve plaže od Bačvica do Žnjana su označene kao one na kojima se ne mogu dovoditi psi bez uzice. Na dvije plaže se smiju dovoditi psi bez uzice: istočnom dijelu uvale Kašjuni i prostoru Lumbarda ispod Pazdigrada od sedam do 22 sata.
Predsjednik Gradskog kotara Žnjan Tonči Vatavuk nam je odgovorio kako "nema tražene informacije" o broju komunalnih redara i obilasku plaža na Žnjanu i koliko je kazni napisano zbog događaja poput ovog o kojem smo pisali. Upit smo poslali i Gradu Splitu. Kad dođe odgovor, objavimo.

Nakon što su mediji objavili priču o napadu psa vrste Jack Russel terijer na šestogodišnje dijete na jednoj od gradskoj plaži na Žnjanu gdje je psima zabranjen dolazak, oglasio se i Gradski kotar Žnjan putem Facebooka. Sve se dogodilo početkom kolovoza kada je pas bez povodca i brnjice, u blizini vlasnice napao dijete koje je s ocem došlo na kupanje. Došlo je do svađe u kojoj bi, prema informacijama iz policije, deblji kraj mogao izvući otac kojem prijeti i do 30 dana zatvora zbog remećenja javnog reda i mira.
Iz Gradskog kotara Žnjan u objavi na Facebooku, između ostalog, ističu kako je „zabranjeno voditi pse na javnim površinama bez povodca i puštanje kućnih ljubimaca bez nadzora” i „apeliraju na sve vlasnike pasa da ne smiju puštati pse na plažu, u gradske parkove, na dječja igrališta, sportske terene, prostore oko škola, dječjih vrtića, športskih objekata, doma zdravlja, groblja i druge javne površine”.

U komentarima su se javili građani koji ističu dva problema: pitanje izgradnje parka za pse i obilaska komunalnih redara.
Upravo je obilazak komunalnih redara nešto o čemu je upozorila i majka djeteta koje je pretrpjelo lakše tjelesne ozljede pitajući se „gdje su komunalni redari” i „zašto nikad ne dolaze na plažu”.
- Komunalnog redara nikad vidjela, ni po prijavi…a veterinarski inspektori obaraju rekorde svojom nezainteresiranošću i muljažom! A kazna je 200 kn sve da je netko i provede, besmislena!
- Kada će početi nadgledati redari i pisati kazne,još ni jednog nisam vidila,ja sa svojim psom zbog straha imam ograničene šetnje ajde pokrenite se!
- Potpisujem sve napisano, ali bih ipak postavila pitanje kada će se u našem kotaru (kao što postoji u drugim kotarima) napraviti park za pse?
- Potpuno ispravno. Ali isto gdje je park za pse na Žnjanu da adekvatno tome taj vlasnik može svog psa sigurno izvest da ne smeta drugim građanima na plazi?
Psi se mogu voditi bez udice na 23 lokacije, uključujući Žnjan. To obuhvaća prostor ispod Osnovne škole Mertojak i istočno od Odeske do Žnjanske ulice. Sve plaže od Bačvica do Žnjana su označene kao one na kojima se ne mogu dovoditi psi bez uzice. Na dvije plaže se smiju dovoditi psi bez uzice: istočnom dijelu uvale Kašjuni i prostoru Lumbarda ispod Pazdigrada od sedam do 22 sata.
Predsjednik Gradskog kotara Žnjan Tonči Vatavuk nam je odgovorio kako "nema tražene informacije" o broju komunalnih redara i obilasku plaža na Žnjanu i koliko je kazni napisano zbog događaja poput ovog o kojem smo pisali. Upit smo poslali i Gradu Splitu. Kad dođe odgovor, objavimo.
