Prema odlukama nadležnih ministarstava, ustanove socijalne skrbi pod posebnom su paskom za vrijeme trajanja pandemije koronavirusa.
Uz pojačane higijenske mjere, u tim ustanovama obustavljeni su svi posjeti, kao i izlasci, a novi korisnici morat će čekati na slobodno mjesto. To se odnosi i na domove za starije i nemoćne u kojima borave osobe koje spadaju u rizičnu skupinu zbog svoje starosne dobi i nerijetko narušena zdravlja.
Stoga je mnogim obiteljima teško pala najnovija informacija da se Dom za starije i nemoćne “Afrodita” na Duilovu zatvara iz nepoznatih razloga. Zna se kakav je slučaj s domovima - ionako su prekapacitirani, za smještaj u njima redovito se potežu veze i vezice, a cijene su u privatnim objektima prilično visoke.
- Zove me jučer prijatelj i pita di ćemo s punicom sad kad zatvara dom. Meni šok, to mi je bila prva vijest. Zvali smo odmah vlasnika doma, a ovaj će da moraju zatvorit, da je baš krenuo javljat ljudima... Ma zamisli, u doba korone, kad drugi domovi ne primaju nikog, on zatvara dom u kojem je smješteno više od 60 starih, nemoćnih ljudi! Pa di će sad svi ti ljudi?! Nama je punica priko 90, dementna, teško pokretna. Do 1. svibnja treba iselit, kaže. Zvali smo odmah domove okolo, al’ nema šanse u ovom trenutku naći mjesto igdje. U Domu “Arkus” iz Kaštela rekli su nam da im telefoni zvone cili dan, u Košutama isto tako... - kaže nam jedan gospodin (podaci poznati redakciji) čija je obitelj smještaj svoje starice plaćala 6500 kuna.
Nazvali smo Ivana Šimundžu, vlasnika “Afrodite”, u kojoj 20 djelatnika skrbi za 66 korisnika. Kaže da je riječ o poslovnoj odluci i da zatvaraju ustanovu od 1. svibnja, nakon 15 godina rada. Nema oboljelih od koronavirusa, odmah je naglasio, jer ga mnogi pitaju je li možda zaraza razlog zatvaranju
- Da ima zaraženih, već bi se to znalo, a i cijeli dom bi morao biti dezinficiran, a ljudi u izolaciji. Nema veze korona s mojom odlukom o zatvaranju... Nećemo nikoga tjerati iz doma, ali obavijestili smo korisnike i njihove obitelji da od 1. svibnja zatvaramo. Može to biti i 1. lipnja, sve ovisi o situaciji s koronavirusom i mjerama koje se budu provodile. Prestajemo biti funkcionalni uslijed krize i morali smo donijeti ovu odluku. Želimo biti odgovorni prema naših zaposlenicima jer im ne možemo obećati plaće u budućnosti, pa je poštenije sve zatvoriti. Ne želimo da ljudi rade, a da im nemamo odakle platiti rad ili da dođemo u situaciju da se nema tko brinuti za korisnike jer nemamo za plaće. Ne mogu sebi dopustiti da radimo površno. Ovo je iscrpljujući posao, traži 24-satnu brigu. Ne može se ovo radit polovično - kazuje nam Šimundža.
Pitamo ga koji mu je plan s objektom na Duilovu.
- Nema planova! Vidite da je sve stalo. Meni je ovo jako teška odluka, vjerujte mi - odgovara nam.
Dom “Afrodita” već je imao problema s poslovanjem. Kako smo već pisali, Grad Split je 2013. tražio njegovu prodaju zbog duga od 635.000 kuna jer vlasnik nije prethodno platio komunalni doprinos. Ovrha je pokrenuta još 2009. godine, no na računima nije bilo novca da se ona provede. Sud je tad dozvolio Gradu zabilježbu ovrhe na vili na Duilovu, a vlasnik se žalio da je za to nastupila zastara, no sud to nije prihvatio. Tako su vještaci krajem 2011. godine procijenili nekretninu na 11,12 milijuna kuna. Prema nalazu vještaka, objekt na Duilovu, osim izgrađenih dijelova građevine, ima dvije podrumske etaže, aneks u razini visokog prizemlja, te nadgrađe. U prizemlju su restoran, recepcija i lift, a na katovima apartmani. Šimundža pak kaže kako je to davna priča i da njegova odluka o zatvaranju doma nema veze s tim.
Kako će se snaći obitelji korisnika doma nakon zatvaranja, prilično je teško pitanje. Na području Splitsko-dalmatinske županije djeluje 18 domova za starije i nemoćne osobe s ukupnim kapacitetom 1792 osobe, 14 obiteljskih domova za starije i nemoćne s kapacitetom od 262 korisnika te tri pružatelja usluga smještaja i boravka bez osnivanja doma koji mogu prihvatiti 52 korisnika. Kad se sve zbroji, u županiji imamo 35 domova koji mogu primiti 2106 osoba.

Prema odlukama nadležnih ministarstava, ustanove socijalne skrbi pod posebnom su paskom za vrijeme trajanja pandemije koronavirusa.
Uz pojačane higijenske mjere, u tim ustanovama obustavljeni su svi posjeti, kao i izlasci, a novi korisnici morat će čekati na slobodno mjesto. To se odnosi i na domove za starije i nemoćne u kojima borave osobe koje spadaju u rizičnu skupinu zbog svoje starosne dobi i nerijetko narušena zdravlja.
Stoga je mnogim obiteljima teško pala najnovija informacija da se Dom za starije i nemoćne “Afrodita” na Duilovu zatvara iz nepoznatih razloga. Zna se kakav je slučaj s domovima - ionako su prekapacitirani, za smještaj u njima redovito se potežu veze i vezice, a cijene su u privatnim objektima prilično visoke.
- Zove me jučer prijatelj i pita di ćemo s punicom sad kad zatvara dom. Meni šok, to mi je bila prva vijest. Zvali smo odmah vlasnika doma, a ovaj će da moraju zatvorit, da je baš krenuo javljat ljudima... Ma zamisli, u doba korone, kad drugi domovi ne primaju nikog, on zatvara dom u kojem je smješteno više od 60 starih, nemoćnih ljudi! Pa di će sad svi ti ljudi?! Nama je punica priko 90, dementna, teško pokretna. Do 1. svibnja treba iselit, kaže. Zvali smo odmah domove okolo, al’ nema šanse u ovom trenutku naći mjesto igdje. U Domu “Arkus” iz Kaštela rekli su nam da im telefoni zvone cili dan, u Košutama isto tako... - kaže nam jedan gospodin (podaci poznati redakciji) čija je obitelj smještaj svoje starice plaćala 6500 kuna.
Nazvali smo Ivana Šimundžu, vlasnika “Afrodite”, u kojoj 20 djelatnika skrbi za 66 korisnika. Kaže da je riječ o poslovnoj odluci i da zatvaraju ustanovu od 1. svibnja, nakon 15 godina rada. Nema oboljelih od koronavirusa, odmah je naglasio, jer ga mnogi pitaju je li možda zaraza razlog zatvaranju
- Da ima zaraženih, već bi se to znalo, a i cijeli dom bi morao biti dezinficiran, a ljudi u izolaciji. Nema veze korona s mojom odlukom o zatvaranju... Nećemo nikoga tjerati iz doma, ali obavijestili smo korisnike i njihove obitelji da od 1. svibnja zatvaramo. Može to biti i 1. lipnja, sve ovisi o situaciji s koronavirusom i mjerama koje se budu provodile. Prestajemo biti funkcionalni uslijed krize i morali smo donijeti ovu odluku. Želimo biti odgovorni prema naših zaposlenicima jer im ne možemo obećati plaće u budućnosti, pa je poštenije sve zatvoriti. Ne želimo da ljudi rade, a da im nemamo odakle platiti rad ili da dođemo u situaciju da se nema tko brinuti za korisnike jer nemamo za plaće. Ne mogu sebi dopustiti da radimo površno. Ovo je iscrpljujući posao, traži 24-satnu brigu. Ne može se ovo radit polovično - kazuje nam Šimundža.

- Nema planova! Vidite da je sve stalo. Meni je ovo jako teška odluka, vjerujte mi - odgovara nam.
Dom “Afrodita” već je imao problema s poslovanjem. Kako smo već pisali, Grad Split je 2013. tražio njegovu prodaju zbog duga od 635.000 kuna jer vlasnik nije prethodno platio komunalni doprinos. Ovrha je pokrenuta još 2009. godine, no na računima nije bilo novca da se ona provede. Sud je tad dozvolio Gradu zabilježbu ovrhe na vili na Duilovu, a vlasnik se žalio da je za to nastupila zastara, no sud to nije prihvatio. Tako su vještaci krajem 2011. godine procijenili nekretninu na 11,12 milijuna kuna. Prema nalazu vještaka, objekt na Duilovu, osim izgrađenih dijelova građevine, ima dvije podrumske etaže, aneks u razini visokog prizemlja, te nadgrađe. U prizemlju su restoran, recepcija i lift, a na katovima apartmani. Šimundža pak kaže kako je to davna priča i da njegova odluka o zatvaranju doma nema veze s tim.
Kako će se snaći obitelji korisnika doma nakon zatvaranja, prilično je teško pitanje. Na području Splitsko-dalmatinske županije djeluje 18 domova za starije i nemoćne osobe s ukupnim kapacitetom 1792 osobe, 14 obiteljskih domova za starije i nemoćne s kapacitetom od 262 korisnika te tri pružatelja usluga smještaja i boravka bez osnivanja doma koji mogu prihvatiti 52 korisnika. Kad se sve zbroji, u županiji imamo 35 domova koji mogu primiti 2106 osoba.
