Samostalna izložba "I šta drugo… /& what else“ autora Mila Sakača otvara se u petak, 17. ožujka, u 19 sati u Sveučilišnoj galeriji, Ruđera Boškoviča 31, a ostaje otvorena do 3. travnja 2023. godine. Kustos izložbe je Branko Franceschi, a otvorit će je rektor Sveučilišta u Splitu prof. dr. sc. Dragan Ljutić.
Milo Sakač, iako strukom arhitekt, već trideset godina aktivno i uspješno, u zemlji i inozemstvu, djeluje kao slikar pa je splitska izložba koncipirana kao prvi kritički presjek njegovog dosadašnjeg likovnog stvaralaštva. Sakač je prepoznat kao nastavljač one tendencije u hrvatskom apstraktnom slikarstvu koja se zasniva na izražajnoj brzoj gesti, strasti prema elementarnom slikarskom materijalu u rasponu od lazurnog curenja do reljefnih nakupina boje, te zagasitom koloritu. Kompozicije mahom izvodi akrilikom na platnu u rasponu od srednjih do velikih formata, razvija ih iz čiste likovne impresije te iako se ne bavi nikakvim narativnim sadržajem njihova čisto likovna događanja s lakoćom privlače i okupiraju pažnju i zor promatrača.
Apstraktno slikarstvo tijekom prvih dekada našeg milenija u potpunosti je potisnulo prevladavajuće zanimanje slikara za figurativnu umjetnost koja im je omogućavala da ovaj tradicionalno likovni medij prilagode paradigmi umjetničkog angažmana. Upravo su umjetnici poput Sakača svojim radom kod publike zadržali zanimanje za umjetnost koja se bavi u suštini formalnim, odnosno, estetskim problemima kako ju još sredinom 20. stoljeća zastupajući slikarstvo američkog apstraktnog ekspresionizma postavio likovni kritičar i teoretičar Clement Greenberg. Unutar suvremenog stvaralačkog diskursa u kojem su referentnost i narativnost postali obvezujući i predvidljiv stvaralački poziv, slikarsko oslobođeno vanjskih poticaja ponovno se pokazuje svježim i relevantnim.
Sakačeva izložba stoga nije mogla doći u boljem trenutku. Izložba na dva kata i to tako da Sakačev recentni opus za kojeg je predviđena cijela etaža, suprotstavi izboru slika iz ranijih ciklusa na drugoj etaži. Tako će uvodom kroz povijesni pregled publika moći informirano sagledati umjetnikove kurentne formalne interese i izražajne preokupacije.

"Respektabilan presjek slika Mila Sakača izvedenih od 2017. do 2022. godine postavljen u Sveučilišnoj galeriji u Splitu, njegovo je do sada najambicioznije predstavljanje javnosti, ali i potvrda ne samo ustrajnosti s kojom se umjetnici na našoj likovnoj sceni posvećuju apstraktnom slikarskom idiomu, već i činjenice da publika ima konstantnu potrebu u njoj uživati.

Milo Sakač stvara i razvija osobnu stvaralačku paradigmu unutar gabarita kulturne baštine kakve su postavili pioniri i najutjecajniji predstavnici apstraktnog slikarstva. Upravo su moji kolege povjesničari umjetnosti kroz historiju vlastite discipline i rada, inovaciju postavili kao referentnu točku koja će metijerskoj vještini dodati onu dodatnu kvalitetu vrijednosti kakvu predmnijevamo kod umjetničkog djela. Gledajući slike Mila Sakača moramo propitati ispravnost ove postavke. Sakačev opus kako u namjeri, tako i u izvedbi nema težnju donositi revolucionarne novine na koje nas kao vrhunce u širokom području umjetničke prakse usmjerava inovacijama pregnantno dvadeseto stoljeće. Sakačevo slikarstvo je umjetnost parafraze izvedbenih formula apstrakcije, proživljenih s podjednakim dozama razumijevanja i strasti. Zbog toga funkcionira u svim svojim formalnim inačicama i zbog toga je relevantno."

Samostalna izložba "I šta drugo… /& what else“ autora Mila Sakača otvara se u petak, 17. ožujka, u 19 sati u Sveučilišnoj galeriji, Ruđera Boškoviča 31, a ostaje otvorena do 3. travnja 2023. godine. Kustos izložbe je Branko Franceschi, a otvorit će je rektor Sveučilišta u Splitu prof. dr. sc. Dragan Ljutić.
Milo Sakač, iako strukom arhitekt, već trideset godina aktivno i uspješno, u zemlji i inozemstvu, djeluje kao slikar pa je splitska izložba koncipirana kao prvi kritički presjek njegovog dosadašnjeg likovnog stvaralaštva. Sakač je prepoznat kao nastavljač one tendencije u hrvatskom apstraktnom slikarstvu koja se zasniva na izražajnoj brzoj gesti, strasti prema elementarnom slikarskom materijalu u rasponu od lazurnog curenja do reljefnih nakupina boje, te zagasitom koloritu. Kompozicije mahom izvodi akrilikom na platnu u rasponu od srednjih do velikih formata, razvija ih iz čiste likovne impresije te iako se ne bavi nikakvim narativnim sadržajem njihova čisto likovna događanja s lakoćom privlače i okupiraju pažnju i zor promatrača.
Apstraktno slikarstvo tijekom prvih dekada našeg milenija u potpunosti je potisnulo prevladavajuće zanimanje slikara za figurativnu umjetnost koja im je omogućavala da ovaj tradicionalno likovni medij prilagode paradigmi umjetničkog angažmana. Upravo su umjetnici poput Sakača svojim radom kod publike zadržali zanimanje za umjetnost koja se bavi u suštini formalnim, odnosno, estetskim problemima kako ju još sredinom 20. stoljeća zastupajući slikarstvo američkog apstraktnog ekspresionizma postavio likovni kritičar i teoretičar Clement Greenberg. Unutar suvremenog stvaralačkog diskursa u kojem su referentnost i narativnost postali obvezujući i predvidljiv stvaralački poziv, slikarsko oslobođeno vanjskih poticaja ponovno se pokazuje svježim i relevantnim.
Sakačeva izložba stoga nije mogla doći u boljem trenutku. Izložba na dva kata i to tako da Sakačev recentni opus za kojeg je predviđena cijela etaža, suprotstavi izboru slika iz ranijih ciklusa na drugoj etaži. Tako će uvodom kroz povijesni pregled publika moći informirano sagledati umjetnikove kurentne formalne interese i izražajne preokupacije.

"Respektabilan presjek slika Mila Sakača izvedenih od 2017. do 2022. godine postavljen u Sveučilišnoj galeriji u Splitu, njegovo je do sada najambicioznije predstavljanje javnosti, ali i potvrda ne samo ustrajnosti s kojom se umjetnici na našoj likovnoj sceni posvećuju apstraktnom slikarskom idiomu, već i činjenice da publika ima konstantnu potrebu u njoj uživati.

Milo Sakač stvara i razvija osobnu stvaralačku paradigmu unutar gabarita kulturne baštine kakve su postavili pioniri i najutjecajniji predstavnici apstraktnog slikarstva. Upravo su moji kolege povjesničari umjetnosti kroz historiju vlastite discipline i rada, inovaciju postavili kao referentnu točku koja će metijerskoj vještini dodati onu dodatnu kvalitetu vrijednosti kakvu predmnijevamo kod umjetničkog djela. Gledajući slike Mila Sakača moramo propitati ispravnost ove postavke. Sakačev opus kako u namjeri, tako i u izvedbi nema težnju donositi revolucionarne novine na koje nas kao vrhunce u širokom području umjetničke prakse usmjerava inovacijama pregnantno dvadeseto stoljeće. Sakačevo slikarstvo je umjetnost parafraze izvedbenih formula apstrakcije, proživljenih s podjednakim dozama razumijevanja i strasti.
