Zbog hripavca, bolesti pluća i dišnih puteva, u splitskoj je bolnici hospitalizirano dijete te je zabilježeno još devet slučajeva te bolesti kod dojenčadi, a istodobno se u bolnici nalazi i 20 pacijenata pozitivnih na covid, upozoreno je u srijedu iz Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo.
U županijskom Nastavnom zavodu za javno zdravstvo naglašavaju da bolest može izazvati teže posljedice, među kojima i smrt. Kažu da su imali 20 slučajeva hripavca kod djece do šest godina starosti, pet školaraca i dva roditelja.
Najbolja zaštita je cijepljenje, a u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji je procijepljenost djece predškolske i dojenačke dobi ispod 86 posto, dok je potpuno cijepljeno manje od 72 posto. Da se bolest ne bi širila treba procijepiti 95 posto djece.
Epidemiologinja Milka Brzović ističe kako djecu treba cijepiti na vrijeme prema programu cijepljenja već s navršena dva mjeseca, a do šestog mjeseca života primit će tri doze koje će ih zaštititi od teže kliničke slike i komplikacija.
Zbog velikog broja necijepljene djece moguć je veliki porast oboljelih, kažu liječnici uz poruku da je glavna prevencija cijepljenje, zbog čega apeliraju na roditelje da cijepe svoju djecu.
Osim hripavca u Splitu je svakim danom sve više hospitaliziranih zbog covida, potvrdila je predstojnica Klinike za infektologiju Mirela Pavičić Ivelja.
Situacija je za sada stabilna, u bolnici je 20 covid pozitivnih bolesnika, od čega ih je dvoje u intenzivnoj jedinici. Većina hospitaliziranih su starije životne dobi s brojnim kroničnim oboljenjima.
Najviše ih leži na Infektologiji, njih 11, a po jedno ili dvoje pacijenata je na ginekologiji, plućnom, anesteziji i ostalim odjelima.
"Situacija je stabilna jer nam je dostupno cjepivo, a sada na raspolaganju imamo i antivirusni lijek, čak i u obliku tableta koje mogu spriječiti teži razvoj bolesti", kaže Pavičić Ivelja.
Nema nekakve velike razlike u kliničkoj slici oboljelih, uglavnom se radilo o omikron soju i njegovim podvarijantama, rekla je.

Zbog hripavca, bolesti pluća i dišnih puteva, u splitskoj je bolnici hospitalizirano dijete te je zabilježeno još devet slučajeva te bolesti kod dojenčadi, a istodobno se u bolnici nalazi i 20 pacijenata pozitivnih na covid, upozoreno je u srijedu iz Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo.
U županijskom Nastavnom zavodu za javno zdravstvo naglašavaju da bolest može izazvati teže posljedice, među kojima i smrt. Kažu da su imali 20 slučajeva hripavca kod djece do šest godina starosti, pet školaraca i dva roditelja.
Najbolja zaštita je cijepljenje, a u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji je procijepljenost djece predškolske i dojenačke dobi ispod 86 posto, dok je potpuno cijepljeno manje od 72 posto. Da se bolest ne bi širila treba procijepiti 95 posto djece.
Epidemiologinja Milka Brzović ističe kako djecu treba cijepiti na vrijeme prema programu cijepljenja već s navršena dva mjeseca, a do šestog mjeseca života primit će tri doze koje će ih zaštititi od teže kliničke slike i komplikacija.
Zbog velikog broja necijepljene djece moguć je veliki porast oboljelih, kažu liječnici uz poruku da je glavna prevencija cijepljenje, zbog čega apeliraju na roditelje da cijepe svoju djecu.
Osim hripavca u Splitu je svakim danom sve više hospitaliziranih zbog covida, potvrdila je predstojnica Klinike za infektologiju Mirela Pavičić Ivelja.
Situacija je za sada stabilna, u bolnici je 20 covid pozitivnih bolesnika, od čega ih je dvoje u intenzivnoj jedinici. Većina hospitaliziranih su starije životne dobi s brojnim kroničnim oboljenjima.
Najviše ih leži na Infektologiji, njih 11, a po jedno ili dvoje pacijenata je na ginekologiji, plućnom, anesteziji i ostalim odjelima.
"Situacija je stabilna jer nam je dostupno cjepivo, a sada na raspolaganju imamo i antivirusni lijek, čak i u obliku tableta koje mogu spriječiti teži razvoj bolesti", kaže Pavičić Ivelja.
Nema nekakve velike razlike u kliničkoj slici oboljelih, uglavnom se radilo o omikron soju i njegovim podvarijantama, rekla je.
