Premda se u Splitu o splitskom turizmu klapa danonoćno, što pokazuje kako – osim Hajduka – nikakvih drugih zanimacija nema (jer i nema), studija Instituta za turizam o održivosti splitskog turizma, dobrano je prošla ispod javnog radara.
Kako i neće kad su u radaru samo turisti i zarada. Tromjesečna žetva koju nam valja gricati kroz ostatak godine. Žalosno je da se Split toliko bavi samo količinama turista i količinama zarade od turizma, ali ne i analizama, jer bi ova studija štošta pokazala. U prvom redu gdje smo i gdje srljamo. Neka nadogradnja u ovdašnjim glavama ne živi: poticanje obrtništva i malog poduzetništva, suvremenih industrija, održivog razvoja, socijalnih komponenti, nedajbože kulturne ponude, osmišljavanja neke scene... Ništa od toga.
U Splitu glavnu riječ vode ugostitelji i komunalci. Ponekad političari koji se bave sobom. Ili se priča o jadima štekatara kojima se ne da disati ili se krpaju raspadnute ulice. I to bi bilo sve od zanimljivosti namijenjenih građanima. Za turiste druga stvar, njima je Split poput zabavišta, par dana i idu dalje. Onima koji ostaju ništa ne ostaje osim vrtoglavih cijena.
Pa kad već svira takva muzika, sada, pretkraj sezone, otplešimo i taj posljednji ples na istu temu. Već smo prokomentirali prvi dio turističke studije, pedeset posto građana koji smatraju kako je turizam Splitu donio bolji život i isto toliko anketiranih koji drže kako je grad izgubio autentičnost, čak 63 posto građana koji više ne dolaze u gradsku jezgru i njih 83 posto koji smatraju kako bi se i u ostatku grada, a ne samo u centru trebala popraviti ugostiteljska ponuda...

Još je ondje zanimljivosti, primjerice, pokazalo se kako su četvrti Grad, Veli Varoš, Manuš i Bačvice najopterećenije s 50 posto svih turističkih noćenja, a ondje su i gotovo svi sadržaji namijenjeni turistima. U ta četiri stara gradska kvarta omjer gostiju i stanovnika je ludih 1 naprama 1, svakome stanaru je jedan gost na škini. Doduše, očekivali smo i gore, jer tamo u sezoni ne možeš sresti domaćega čovjeka. Inače, podatak o broju stanovnika u ovim kotarima je iz daleke 2011. godine pa je vjerojatno totalno nevjerodostojan. Jer prava seoba domaćih počela je tek iza te godine. Nije jasno zbog čega nije korišten popis stanovništva iz 2021. godine.
Pokazalo se da u najjačim danima splitskim ulicama hoda i vozi 42 tisuće turista (31 tisuća u smještaju, pet tisuća stranih kruzeraša, dvije tisuće s domaćih kruzera, 1,8 tisuća izletnika, 1,7 tisuća jednodnevnih gostiju i dvije tisuće na proputovanju). Što bi značilo da u tim vršnim danima uz 161 tisuću stanovnika Split "nateče" na 200 tisuća, od čega je gotovo jedna četvrtina turista.
Na četvero građana jedan je gost. Je li to puno ili malo, to studija ne kaže, ali dovoljno je prošetati gradom navečer, bolje reći, provlačiti se da sve bude jasno. Dok kvartovi izvan ona četiri najopterećenija uživaju u kakvom-takvom spokoju, tamo je ludnica.
Izrađivači studije procjenjuju kako je upisana godišnja brojka od dva milijuna turističkih noćenja u Splitu netočna, oni tvrde kako ih je više nego dvostruko više, pet milijuna!

To se očituje i po plažama, standard bi predviđao kako na jednoga gosta ide pet kvadrata kupališne obale, dok je u Splitu koji se ponosi s čak petnaest kilometara plaža – što je nevjerojatno puno u konkurenciji mediteranskih gradova – ta površina po kupaču tek 1,2 kvadrata.
Očito je iz svih podataka da je Split na rubu pucanja: zastarjela infrastruktura koja nije dostatna niti za stanovnike, u prvom redu prometni kolaps za čije rješenje je ključno ostvariti desetljećima nedostižni projekt koji bi povezao Istočnu obalu i Kopilicu, tunelom izbacio vozila iz luke na širu prometnicu od jednotračnice na Bačvicama, izmjestio željeznicu i autobuse u Kopilicu, pa sve skupa povezao s aerodromom – nešto slično upravo dovršava Rijeka – trebali bi biti prvi korak, uz konačno probijanje nedovršenih gradskih cesta – arterija.
Trenutno pred Splitom nema važnijeg projekta od ovog. A onda ćemo možda doživjeti i nadogradnju kvalitete života koja je na nikad nižim granama. Poput životarenja u lunaparku. Tko ima za kartu njemu je dobro. Ostali prodaju zjake ili podmazuju konjiće.

Premda se u Splitu o splitskom turizmu klapa danonoćno, što pokazuje kako – osim Hajduka – nikakvih drugih zanimacija nema (jer i nema), studija Instituta za turizam o održivosti splitskog turizma, dobrano je prošla ispod javnog radara.
Kako i neće kad su u radaru samo turisti i zarada. Tromjesečna žetva koju nam valja gricati kroz ostatak godine. Žalosno je da se Split toliko bavi samo količinama turista i količinama zarade od turizma, ali ne i analizama, jer bi ova studija štošta pokazala. U prvom redu gdje smo i gdje srljamo. Neka nadogradnja u ovdašnjim glavama ne živi: poticanje obrtništva i malog poduzetništva, suvremenih industrija, održivog razvoja, socijalnih komponenti, nedajbože kulturne ponude, osmišljavanja neke scene... Ništa od toga.
U Splitu glavnu riječ vode ugostitelji i komunalci. Ponekad političari koji se bave sobom. Ili se priča o jadima štekatara kojima se ne da disati ili se krpaju raspadnute ulice. I to bi bilo sve od zanimljivosti namijenjenih građanima. Za turiste druga stvar, njima je Split poput zabavišta, par dana i idu dalje. Onima koji ostaju ništa ne ostaje osim vrtoglavih cijena.
Pa kad već svira takva muzika, sada, pretkraj sezone, otplešimo i taj posljednji ples na istu temu. Već smo prokomentirali prvi dio turističke studije, pedeset posto građana koji smatraju kako je turizam Splitu donio bolji život i isto toliko anketiranih koji drže kako je grad izgubio autentičnost, čak 63 posto građana koji više ne dolaze u gradsku jezgru i njih 83 posto koji smatraju kako bi se i u ostatku grada, a ne samo u centru trebala popraviti ugostiteljska ponuda...

Još je ondje zanimljivosti, primjerice, pokazalo se kako su četvrti Grad, Veli Varoš, Manuš i Bačvice najopterećenije s 50 posto svih turističkih noćenja, a ondje su i gotovo svi sadržaji namijenjeni turistima. U ta četiri stara gradska kvarta omjer gostiju i stanovnika je ludih 1 naprama 1, svakome stanaru je jedan gost na škini. Doduše, očekivali smo i gore, jer tamo u sezoni ne možeš sresti domaćega čovjeka. Inače, podatak o broju stanovnika u ovim kotarima je iz daleke 2011. godine pa je vjerojatno totalno nevjerodostojan. Jer prava seoba domaćih počela je tek iza te godine. Nije jasno zbog čega nije korišten popis stanovništva iz 2021. godine.
Pokazalo se da u najjačim danima splitskim ulicama hoda i vozi 42 tisuće turista (31 tisuća u smještaju, pet tisuća stranih kruzeraša, dvije tisuće s domaćih kruzera, 1,8 tisuća izletnika, 1,7 tisuća jednodnevnih gostiju i dvije tisuće na proputovanju). Što bi značilo da u tim vršnim danima uz 161 tisuću stanovnika Split "nateče" na 200 tisuća, od čega je gotovo jedna četvrtina turista.
Na četvero građana jedan je gost. Je li to puno ili malo, to studija ne kaže, ali dovoljno je prošetati gradom navečer, bolje reći, provlačiti se da sve bude jasno. Dok kvartovi izvan ona četiri najopterećenija uživaju u kakvom-takvom spokoju, tamo je ludnica.
Izrađivači studije procjenjuju kako je upisana godišnja brojka od dva milijuna turističkih noćenja u Splitu netočna, oni tvrde kako ih je više nego dvostruko više, pet milijuna!

To se očituje i po plažama, standard bi predviđao kako na jednoga gosta ide pet kvadrata kupališne obale, dok je u Splitu koji se ponosi s čak petnaest kilometara plaža – što je nevjerojatno puno u konkurenciji mediteranskih gradova – ta površina po kupaču tek 1,2 kvadrata.
Očito je iz svih podataka da je Split na rubu pucanja: zastarjela infrastruktura koja nije dostatna niti za stanovnike, u prvom redu prometni kolaps za čije rješenje je ključno ostvariti desetljećima nedostižni projekt koji bi povezao Istočnu obalu i Kopilicu, tunelom izbacio vozila iz luke na širu prometnicu od jednotračnice na Bačvicama, izmjestio željeznicu i autobuse u Kopilicu, pa sve skupa povezao s aerodromom – nešto slično upravo dovršava Rijeka – trebali bi biti prvi korak, uz konačno probijanje nedovršenih gradskih cesta – arterija.
Trenutno pred Splitom nema važnijeg projekta od ovog. A onda ćemo možda doživjeti i nadogradnju kvalitete života koja je na nikad nižim granama. Poput životarenja u lunaparku. Tko ima za kartu njemu je dobro. Ostali prodaju zjake ili podmazuju konjiće.
