Tenisači Španjolske posljednji su polufinalnisti premijernog izdanja ATP kupa, momčadskog natjecanja 24 reprezentacije, koje se održava u Australiji, a za mjesto u nedjeljnom finalu će se u subotu boriti protiv domaće momčadi, dok će u drugom polufinalu igrati Srbija i Rusija. 

Španjolska je za plasman u polufinale pobijedila Belgiju sa 2-1, iako je najbolji tenisač svijeta Rafael Nadal doživio prvi pojedinačni poraz na ovom natjecanju. Svladao ga je najbolji belgijski tenisač David Goffin sa 6-4, 7-6 (3) i tako odveo meč do odlučujuće igre parova, nakon što je prethodno Roberto Bautista Agut nadigrao Kimmera Coppejansa sa 6-1, 6-4.

U parovima je Nadal udružio snage s Pablom Carreno-Bustom, a u vrlo neizvjesnom dvoboju španjolski dvojac je pobijedio Sandera Gillea i Jorana Vliegena sa 6-7 (7), 7-5, 10-7. Belgijci su u desetom gemu drugog seta bili na dva poena do pobjede, ali su izgubili tri gema zaredom te potom s dvije dvostruke pogreške pomogli suparnicima na putu do trijumfa u odlučujućem 'tie-breaku'.

Srbija je u četvrtfinalu sa 3-0 nadigrala Kanadu. Dušan Lajović je sa 6-4, 6-2 bio bolji od Felixa Auger-Aliassimea, dok je Novak Đoković zapečatio plasman u polufinale svladavši Denisa Shapovalova sa 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4). U revijalnom dvoboju parova su Viktor Troicki i Nikola Čačić pobijedili Petera Polanskog i Adila Shamasdina sa 6-3, 6-2.

U subotu, od 1 sat iza ponoći po srednjoeuropskom, za finale će se boriti Srbija i Rusija, a od 8.30 sati trebao bi započeti polufinalni dvoboj Australije i Španjolske.

Tenisači Španjolske posljednji su polufinalnisti premijernog izdanja ATP kupa, momčadskog natjecanja 24 reprezentacije, koje se održava u Australiji, a za mjesto u nedjeljnom finalu će se u subotu boriti protiv domaće momčadi, dok će u drugom polufinalu igrati Srbija i Rusija. 

Španjolska je za plasman u polufinale pobijedila Belgiju sa 2-1, iako je najbolji tenisač svijeta Rafael Nadal doživio prvi pojedinačni poraz na ovom natjecanju. Svladao ga je najbolji belgijski tenisač David Goffin sa 6-4, 7-6 (3) i tako odveo meč do odlučujuće igre parova, nakon što je prethodno Roberto Bautista Agut nadigrao Kimmera Coppejansa sa 6-1, 6-4.

U parovima je Nadal udružio snage s Pablom Carreno-Bustom, a u vrlo neizvjesnom dvoboju španjolski dvojac je pobijedio Sandera Gillea i Jorana Vliegena sa 6-7 (7), 7-5, 10-7. Belgijci su u desetom gemu drugog seta bili na dva poena do pobjede, ali su izgubili tri gema zaredom te potom s dvije dvostruke pogreške pomogli suparnicima na putu do trijumfa u odlučujućem 'tie-breaku'.

Srbija je u četvrtfinalu sa 3-0 nadigrala Kanadu. Dušan Lajović je sa 6-4, 6-2 bio bolji od Felixa Auger-Aliassimea, dok je Novak Đoković zapečatio plasman u polufinale svladavši Denisa Shapovalova sa 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4). U revijalnom dvoboju parova su Viktor Troicki i Nikola Čačić pobijedili Petera Polanskog i Adila Shamasdina sa 6-3, 6-2.

U subotu, od 1 sat iza ponoći po srednjoeuropskom, za finale će se boriti Srbija i Rusija, a od 8.30 sati trebao bi započeti polufinalni dvoboj Australije i Španjolske.

Tenisači Španjolske posljednji su polufinalnisti premijernog izdanja ATP kupa, momčadskog natjecanja 24 reprezentacije, koje se održava u Australiji, a za mjesto u nedjeljnom finalu će se u subotu boriti protiv domaće momčadi, dok će u drugom polufinalu igrati Srbija i Rusija. 

Španjolska je za plasman u polufinale pobijedila Belgiju sa 2-1, iako je najbolji tenisač svijeta Rafael Nadal doživio prvi pojedinačni poraz na ovom natjecanju. Svladao ga je najbolji belgijski tenisač David Goffin sa 6-4, 7-6 (3) i tako odveo meč do odlučujuće igre parova, nakon što je prethodno Roberto Bautista Agut nadigrao Kimmera Coppejansa sa 6-1, 6-4.

U parovima je Nadal udružio snage s Pablom Carreno-Bustom, a u vrlo neizvjesnom dvoboju španjolski dvojac je pobijedio Sandera Gillea i...
