Svadbena svečanost glumice Priyanke Chopre i njezina odabranika Nicka Jonasa nastavlja se drugi dan zaredom u Choprinoj rodnoj Indiji, a više od izdanja u kojima su zasjali mladenci, javnost bruji o poklonu koji je mlada dobila od - svekrve.

Riječ je, naime, o naušnicama vrijednim nevjerojatnih 80.000 dolara, a koje je prelijepoj Indijki poklonila Denise Jonas, majka njenog odabranika. Dizajn potpisuje luksuzna draguljarska kuća Van Cleef & Arpels; naušnice "Snowflake" izrađene su od žutoga zlata i od čak 170 dijamanata iznimne kvalitete i čvrstoće.

Što se obreda tiče, i Priyanka i Nick su željeli da on odražava obje kulture. Sve je počelo jučer ceremonijom "puja" održanoj u kući mladenkine majke, zatim je uslijedio "sagneet", dio svečanosti na kojoj mladenkina obitelj pleše, te ceremonija "mehendi" u sklopu koje se mladenki iscrtavaju tradicionalne henna tetovaže na dlanovima i rukama. Potom je izvršeno kršćansko vjenčanje koje je vodio Nickov otac Paul Kevin Jonas, nekadašnji svećenik.

 

Danas je na redu hinduistički dio obreda na kojemu će se Jonas i Chopra još jednom zavjetovati jedno drugome na vječnu ljubav, a "fešta" se i dalje odvija u Palači Umaid Bhwan, u mladenkinom rodnom gradu Jodhpuru, iznad koje se jučer prolomio nevjerojatan vatromet jednom kad su mladenci rekli "da".

 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love.  Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. Svadbena svečanost glumice Priyanke Chopre i njezina odabranika Nicka Jonasa nastavlja se drugi dan zaredom u Choprinoj rodnoj Indiji, a više od izdanja u kojima su zasjali mladenci, javnost bruji o poklonu koji je mlada dobila od - svekrve.

Riječ je, naime, o naušnicama vrijednim nevjerojatnih 80.000 dolara, a koje je prelijepoj Indijki poklonila Denise Jonas, majka njenog odabranika. Dizajn potpisuje luksuzna draguljarska kuća Van Cleef & Arpels; naušnice "Snowflake" izrađene su od žutoga zlata i od čak 170 dijamanata iznimne kvalitete i čvrstoće.

Što se obreda tiče, i Priyanka i Nick su željeli da on odražava obje kulture. Sve je počelo jučer ceremonijom "puja" održanoj u kući mladenkine majke, zatim je uslijedio "sagneet", dio svečanosti na kojoj mladenkina obitelj pleše, te ceremonija "mehendi" u sklopu koje se mladenki iscrtavaju tradicionalne henna tetovaže na dlanovima i rukama. Potom je izvršeno kršćansko vjenčanje koje je vodio Nickov otac Paul Kevin Jonas, nekadašnji svećenik.

 

Danas je na redu hinduistički dio obreda na kojemu će se Jonas i Chopra još jednom zavjetovati jedno drugome na vječnu ljubav, a "fešta" se i dalje odvija u Palači Umaid Bhwan, u mladenkinom rodnom gradu Jodhpuru, iznad koje se jučer prolomio nevjerojatan vatromet jednom kad su mladenci rekli "da".

 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love.  Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives.
