Sanda Dubravčić posebno je bila povezna s Milkom Babović, smrt naše proslavljene tv-novinarke, legendarne reporterke naročito je pogodila sportašicu, uspješnu klizačicu umjetničkog klizanja...
- Ustuknula sam načas, znam da je gospođa Milka bila u ozbiljnim godinama, ali sam znala i da ih dobro nosi. Tako ružnu vijest nikad ne očekujete. Mobitel mi je bio ugašen i kad sam ga otvorila vidim 25 poziva... I teško mi je, moram priznat, kako mi neće biti teško. Znate kaj, u sedmom mjesecu sam izgubila majku, a moja mama i Milka bile su si vrlo bliske, vezivao ih je sport. Majka mi je imala 89 godina... Generacijski su bile tu negdje, a uz mene obje rekla bih cijeli život. Tako da mi je sve to dodatno teško, najprije mama, a sad evo i gospođa Milka – uzdahnula je Sanda.
Pamtimo je kao blistavu sportašicu i lijepu djevojku, srebrnu na Europskom prvenstvu 1981. u Innsbrucku što je bio izvrstan doseg, a onda je 1984. godine upalila olimpijski plamen u Sarajevu na stadionu Koševo, na otvaranju Zimskih olimpijskih igara. Karijeru su joj pratili nezaboravni opisi i dočaravanje događaja Milke Babović.
Ona je danas doc. dr sc. Sanda Dubravčić-Šimunjak, prim. dr med., pročelnica Zavoda za fizikalnu medicinu i rehabilitaciju KB Sveti Duh u Zagrebu. I pokojna majka joj je, kaže nam, bila liječnica, dr. Zora Lipošćak-Dubravčić, sportska prijateljica Milke.

Sandi naviru sjećanja:
- Ono što je bila i što nedvojbeno stoji jest da je Milka Babović davala cijelu sebe u svoj rad i komentare. Brižljivo se pripremala. Ja naravno komentare nisam mogla doživjeti izravno, dok sam klizala, ali znam dobro da je to obilježilo epohu, njeni opisi, kako se govorilo Milka i njene šljokice... Bila su potpuno drugačija vremena, najprije crno-bijeli televizori gdje su Milkin dojam i opisi bili osobito dragocjeni. Bilo je to vrijeme bez interneta gdje se nije kao danas moglo instant doći do svih informacija. Milka Babović je bila jedinstvena po svom predanom radu, po svojim čuvenim bilježnicama i bilješkama, informirana maksimalno, educirana u sport kojeg je pratila. Nitko nije tako zorno prenozio taj divni sport koji sad nije toliko u žarištu pozornosti, ali možda jednog dana opet bude...
Naviru sjećanja, emocije, gospođa liječnica Dubravčić nam priča:
- Odgajala je svih oko sebe i držala visoko podignutu letvicu rada, ozbiljnosti, pripreme za svoj posao. Mi smo imale poseban odnos, majčinski, ja bih rekla, jer ipak nas je dijelila razlika u godinama da bismo bile prijateljice. Ali, taj majčinski odnos je bio izniman. Ne mogu zaboravit doček nakon što sam 1981. osvojila europsko srebro i razgovore s mnogim novinarima. Jedan gospodin je nešto pogrešno preveo s francuskog na engleski, nije to bilo precizno, a ja, hvala bogu poznam oba jezika. Ja sam ispravila gospodina, a Milka je na to ponosno rekla: To je moje dijete!
Riječi naviru, pun naramak uspomena:
- Posljednji put smo se srele kad smo bile u Plesu sa zvijezdama, tv-show, ja natjecateljica, a Milka u žiriju. Vrlo profesionalno je to odradila i nije mi popuštala ni za djelić. Ona je bila takva, maksimalno ozbiljna i savjesna, stroga, a isto tako i dobra, mekana duša. Baš kao i svaka prava majka. Ne mogu vam ni opisati koliko sam pogođena i koliko će mi nedostajati, prvo mama Zora, a sad i Milka, baš teška godina – ispričala nam je nezaboravna Sanda Dubravčić.

Sanda Dubravčić posebno je bila povezna s Milkom Babović, smrt naše proslavljene tv-novinarke, legendarne reporterke naročito je pogodila sportašicu, uspješnu klizačicu umjetničkog klizanja...
- Ustuknula sam načas, znam da je gospođa Milka bila u ozbiljnim godinama, ali sam znala i da ih dobro nosi. Tako ružnu vijest nikad ne očekujete. Mobitel mi je bio ugašen i kad sam ga otvorila vidim 25 poziva... I teško mi je, moram priznat, kako mi neće biti teško. Znate kaj, u sedmom mjesecu sam izgubila majku, a moja mama i Milka bile su si vrlo bliske, vezivao ih je sport. Majka mi je imala 89 godina... Generacijski su bile tu negdje, a uz mene obje rekla bih cijeli život. Tako da mi je sve to dodatno teško, najprije mama, a sad evo i gospođa Milka – uzdahnula je Sanda.
Pamtimo je kao blistavu sportašicu i lijepu djevojku, srebrnu na Europskom prvenstvu 1981. u Innsbrucku što je bio izvrstan doseg, a onda je 1984. godine upalila olimpijski plamen u Sarajevu na stadionu Koševo, na otvaranju Zimskih olimpijskih igara. Karijeru su joj pratili nezaboravni opisi i dočaravanje događaja Milke Babović.
Ona je danas doc. dr sc. Sanda Dubravčić-Šimunjak, prim. dr med., pročelnica Zavoda za fizikalnu medicinu i rehabilitaciju KB Sveti Duh u Zagrebu. I pokojna majka joj je, kaže nam, bila liječnica, dr. Zora Lipošćak-Dubravčić, sportska prijateljica Milke.

Sandi naviru sjećanja:
- Ono što je bila i što nedvojbeno stoji jest da je Milka Babović davala cijelu sebe u svoj rad i komentare. Brižljivo se pripremala. Ja naravno komentare nisam mogla doživjeti izravno, dok sam klizala, ali znam dobro da je to obilježilo epohu, njeni opisi, kako se govorilo Milka i njene šljokice... Bila su potpuno drugačija vremena, najprije crno-bijeli televizori gdje su Milkin dojam i opisi bili osobito dragocjeni. Bilo je to vrijeme bez interneta gdje se nije kao danas moglo instant doći do svih informacija. Milka Babović je bila jedinstvena po svom predanom radu, po svojim čuvenim bilježnicama i bilješkama, informirana maksimalno, educirana u sport kojeg je pratila. Nitko nije tako zorno prenozio taj divni sport koji sad nije toliko u žarištu pozornosti, ali možda jednog dana opet bude...
Naviru sjećanja, emocije, gospođa liječnica Dubravčić nam priča:
- Odgajala je svih oko sebe i držala visoko podignutu letvicu rada, ozbiljnosti, pripreme za svoj posao. Mi smo imale poseban odnos, majčinski, ja bih rekla, jer ipak nas je dijelila razlika u godinama da bismo bile prijateljice. Ali, taj majčinski odnos je bio izniman. Ne mogu zaboravit doček nakon što sam 1981. osvojila europsko srebro i razgovore s mnogim novinarima. Jedan gospodin je nešto pogrešno preveo s francuskog na engleski, nije to bilo precizno, a ja, hvala bogu poznam oba jezika. Ja sam ispravila gospodina, a Milka je na to ponosno rekla: To je moje dijete!
Riječi naviru, pun naramak uspomena:
- Posljednji put smo se srele kad smo bile u Plesu sa zvijezdama, tv-show, ja natjecateljica, a Milka u žiriju. Vrlo profesionalno je to odradila i nije mi popuštala ni za djelić. Ona je bila takva, maksimalno ozbiljna i savjesna, stroga, a isto tako i dobra, mekana duša. Baš kao i svaka prava majka. Ne mogu vam ni opisati koliko sam pogođena i koliko će mi nedostajati, prvo mama Zora, a sad i Milka, baš teška godina – ispričala nam je nezaboravna Sanda Dubravčić.
