Nakon studije objavljene u The Lancetu, koja je pokazala da je svaki osmi koji je prebolio covid-19 osjeća dugotrajne posljedice bolesti, što se naziva dugim covidom ili postcovidom, znanstvenici su pronašli i tri vrste dugog covida, piše Živim.hr

Najčešće su osobe osjećale simptome kao što su bol u prsima, otežano disanje, bol u mišićima, gubitak osjeta okusa i mirisa te umor mjesecima nakon preboljenja infekcije, a prema novoj studiji s King‘s Collegea u Londonu tri su različita profila dugoročnih simptoma - usmjerenim na neurološka, respiratorna ili fizička stanja.

"Naši podaci jasno pokazuju da postcovid sindrom nije samo jedno stanje, već se čini da ima nekoliko podtipova. Razumijevanje temeljnih uzroka ovih podtipova može pomoći u pronalaženju strategija liječenja i naglašavaju potrebu za personaliziranom pristupu svakog s postcovidom", rekla je dr. Claire Steves, jedna od autorica studije i viša klinička predavačica na King‘s College London‘s School of Life Course & Population Sciences.

Otkrili su da najviše ljudi s postcovidom ima skupina ima nakupinu simptoma u živčanom sustavu, poput umora, moždane magle i glavobolje. Bio je to najčešći podtip među Alpha varijantom, koji je bio dominantan u zimi 2020.-2021., i delta varijantom, koja je bila dominantna 2021. godine. Druga skupina imala je respiratorne simptome, poput bolova u prsima i jakog nedostatka daha, što bi moglo sugerirati oštećenje pluća. Bio je to najveći klaster za izvorni soj koronavirusa u proljeće 2020. godine, kada su ljudi bili necijepljeni.

Treća skupina uključivala je ljude koji su prijavili raznolik raspon fizičkih simptoma, uključujući lupanje srca, bolove u mišićima te promjene na koži i kosi. Ova skupina imala je neke od "najtežih i iscrpljujućih simptoma više organa", napisali su istraživači.

Istraživači su otkrili da su podtipovi slični kod cijepljenih i necijepljenih ljudi na temelju do sada istraženih varijanti. No, podaci su pokazali da je rizik od dugog covida smanjen cijepljenjem.

Nakon studije objavljene u The Lancetu, koja je pokazala da je svaki osmi koji je prebolio covid-19 osjeća dugotrajne posljedice bolesti, što se naziva dugim covidom ili postcovidom, znanstvenici su pronašli i tri vrste dugog covida, piše Živim.hr

Najčešće su osobe osjećale simptome kao što su bol u prsima, otežano disanje, bol u mišićima, gubitak osjeta okusa i mirisa te umor mjesecima nakon preboljenja infekcije, a prema novoj studiji s King‘s Collegea u Londonu tri su različita profila dugoročnih simptoma - usmjerenim na neurološka, respiratorna ili fizička stanja.

"Naši podaci jasno pokazuju da postcovid sindrom nije samo jedno stanje, već se čini da ima nekoliko podtipova. Razumijevanje temeljnih uzroka ovih podtipova može pomoći u pronalaženju strategija liječenja i naglašavaju potrebu za personaliziranom pristupu svakog s postcovidom", rekla je dr. Claire Steves, jedna od autorica studije i viša klinička predavačica na King‘s College London‘s School of Life Course & Population Sciences.

Otkrili su da najviše ljudi s postcovidom ima skupina ima nakupinu simptoma u živčanom sustavu, poput umora, moždane magle i glavobolje. Bio je to najčešći podtip među Alpha varijantom, koji je bio dominantan u zimi 2020.-2021., i delta varijantom, koja je bila dominantna 2021. godine. Druga skupina imala je respiratorne simptome, poput bolova u prsima i jakog nedostatka daha, što bi moglo sugerirati oštećenje pluća. Bio je to najveći klaster za izvorni soj koronavirusa u proljeće 2020. godine, kada su ljudi bili necijepljeni.

Treća skupina uključivala je ljude koji su prijavili raznolik raspon fizičkih simptoma, uključujući lupanje srca, bolove u mišićima te promjene na koži i kosi. Ova skupina imala je neke od "najtežih i iscrpljujućih simptoma više organa", napisali su istraživači.

Istraživači su otkrili da su podtipovi slični kod cijepljenih i necijepljenih ljudi na temelju do sada istraženih varijanti. No, podaci su pokazali da je rizik od dugog covida smanjen cijepljenjem.

Nakon studije objavljene u The Lancetu, koja je pokazala da je svaki osmi koji je prebolio covid-19 osjeća dugotrajne posljedice bolesti, što se naziva dugim covidom ili postcovidom, znanstvenici su pronašli i tri vrste dugog covida, piše Živim.hr

Najčešće su osobe osjećale simptome kao što su bol u prsima, otežano disanje, bol u mišićima, gubitak osjeta okusa i mirisa te umor mjesecima nakon preboljenja infekcije, a prema novoj studiji s King‘s Collegea u Londonu tri su različita profila dugoročnih simptoma - usmjerenim na neurološka, respiratorna ili fizička stanja.

"Naši podaci jasno pokazuju da postcovid sindrom nije samo jedno stanje, već se čini da ima nekoliko podtipova. Razumijevanje temeljnih uzroka ovih podtipova može pomoći u pronalaženju strategija...
