Kompanije GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) i Vir Biotechnology objavile su u ponedjeljak da terapija monoklonskim antitijelima, sotrovimab, ako se primijeni u ranoj fazi bolesti, značajno smanjuje rizik od hospitalizacije i smrti kod visokorizičnih covid pacijenata na izvanbolničkom liječenju.

Istraživanje koje je obuhvatilo 1.057 osoba oboljelih od covida-19, pokazalo je da sotrovimab za 79 posto smanjuje rizik od hospitalizacije za više od 24 sata kao i smrtni ishod, neovisno o uzroku, objavili su u ponedjeljak proizvođači lijeka, kompanije GlaxoSmithKline i Vir Biotechnology.

Američki Nacionalni institut za zdravlje (National Institutes of Health, NIH) preporučio je sotrovimab za izvanbolničko liječenje visokorizičnih pacijenata koji imaju blage do umjerene simptome.

Američka agencija za hranu i lijekove još je u svibnju odobrila primjenu monoklonskog antitijela sotrovimab u hitnim slučajevima liječenja covida-19, a ovu vrstu terapije podržala su i regulatorna tijela EU-a. Američka regulatorna tijela već su odobrila slične terapije, koje su razvile konkurentske kompanije Regeneron i Eli Lilly, također za izvanbolničko liječenje covid- pacijenata.

Sotrovimab spada u skupinu lijekova koji se nazivaju monoklonskim antitijelima, a riječ je o antitijelima koja oponašaju prirodna antitijela organizma uslijed infekcije.

GSK je objavio da testira intramuskularnu primjenu sotrovimaba putem injekcije, što je, poručuju iz kompanije, znatno prikladnije nego trenutna intravenozna primjena u obliku infuzijske otopine.

Kompanije GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) i Vir Biotechnology objavile su u ponedjeljak da terapija monoklonskim antitijelima, sotrovimab, ako se primijeni u ranoj fazi bolesti, značajno smanjuje rizik od hospitalizacije i smrti kod visokorizičnih covid pacijenata na izvanbolničkom liječenju.

Istraživanje koje je obuhvatilo 1.057 osoba oboljelih od covida-19, pokazalo je da sotrovimab za 79 posto smanjuje rizik od hospitalizacije za više od 24 sata kao i smrtni ishod, neovisno o uzroku, objavili su u ponedjeljak proizvođači lijeka, kompanije GlaxoSmithKline i Vir Biotechnology.

Američki Nacionalni institut za zdravlje (National Institutes of Health, NIH) preporučio je sotrovimab za izvanbolničko liječenje visokorizičnih pacijenata koji imaju blage do umjerene simptome.

Američka agencija za hranu i lijekove još je u svibnju odobrila primjenu monoklonskog antitijela sotrovimab u hitnim slučajevima liječenja covida-19, a ovu vrstu terapije podržala su i regulatorna tijela EU-a. Američka regulatorna tijela već su odobrila slične terapije, koje su razvile konkurentske kompanije Regeneron i Eli Lilly, također za izvanbolničko liječenje covid- pacijenata.

Sotrovimab spada u skupinu lijekova koji se nazivaju monoklonskim antitijelima, a riječ je o antitijelima koja oponašaju prirodna antitijela organizma uslijed infekcije.

GSK je objavio da testira intramuskularnu primjenu sotrovimaba putem injekcije, što je, poručuju iz kompanije, znatno prikladnije nego trenutna intravenozna primjena u obliku infuzijske otopine.

Nova studija otkrila koji lijek pomaže kod oboljenja od COVID-a: za čak 79 posto smanjuje rizik od hospitalizacije i smrti

Kompanije GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) i Vir Biotechnology objavile su u ponedjeljak da terapija monoklonskim antitijelima, sotrovimab, ako se primijeni u ranoj fazi bolesti, značajno smanjuje rizik od hospitalizacije i smrti kod visokorizičnih covid pacijenata na izvanbolničkom liječenju.

Istraživanje koje je obuhvatilo 1.057 osoba oboljelih od covida-19, pokazalo je da sotrovimab za 79 posto smanjuje rizik od hospitalizacije za više od 24 sata kao i smrtni ishod, neovisno o uzroku, objavili su u ponedjeljak proizvođači lijeka, kompanije GlaxoSmithKline i Vir Biotechnology.

Američki Nacionalni institut za zdravlje (National Institutes of Health, NIH) preporučio je sotrovimab za izvanbolničko liječenje visokorizičnih pacijenata koji imaju blage do umjerene simptome.
