Jeste li proteklih tjedana provedenih u samoizolaciji i društveno distancirani od prijatelja i obitelji primijetili da vas češće boli glava?
Karantena uvjetovana pandemijom koronavirusa natjerala nas je da se zatvorimo u kuće, dane provodimo bez "z" od svježeg zraka i presložimo svoju svakodnevicu. Odgovaralo nam to ili ne, našli smo se vezani uz dom.
A iako bi naglu pojavu neobjašnjivih glavobolja mnogi zato pripisali upravo tome, boravku u zatvorenom prostoru, manjku kisika i sunca, višku svađa jednom kad postane jasno da je životni prostor možda i preuzak za baš 24-satno druženje, postoji jedan sasvim drugi krivac za pulsiranje u sljepoočnicama.
Radi se o ekranu. Po želji, ali i svima zajedno. Naprezanje oka može rezultirati ozbiljnim glavoboljama, a jednom kad ste se našli u situaciji da radite od kuće i provodite dodatnu količinu vremena vezani uz zaslon kompjutora, televizora i mobitela, našli ste se u opasnosti da iskusite pritom češće bol u predijelu glave.

Čak i ako inače tome niste skloni. Ekstremna količina vremena provedenog uz ekran, osim naprezanja, rezultira i suhoćom oka, mantavicama, ali i glavoboljom, piše Allure.
Kathleen Digre, šefica Američkog društva za glavobolju, kaže da je uopće ne iznenađuje što se ljudi proteklih tjedana češće žale na glavobolju.

Što uzrokuje naprezanje oka?
Čitanje knjiga i dugotrajno gledanje u ekran računala.
- Kad čitamo knjigu ili "buljimo" u ekran, ne trepćemo često koliko bismo to inače radili. U nekakvnom normalnom ritmu ne idemo za tim, ali jednom kad se zagledate u ekran, trepćete sporije, što doprinosi suhoći oka", objašnjava Digre.
Crveni kapci, natečenost i neugodan osjećaj peckanja i svrbeža u očima posljedica su dugotrajnog "zurenja". Ako problemi rezultiraju pojačanom mutnoćom vida, bilo bi dobro provjeriti koliko vam odgovaraju leće ili naočale koje nosite, ukoliko ih nosite. Ako imate prejaku ili preslabu dioptriju na svom pomagalu, to može uzrokovati ekstremna naprezanja oka.
Zašto naprezanje oka uzrokuje glavobolju?
Kod nekih, naprezanje oka može biti samo popratni simptom migrena, tenzijskih glavobolja ili problema sa sinusima. No isto tako, samo naprezanje može prouzrokovati glavobolju ili poslužiti kao okidač.
- Kad vam oči postanu suhe, nastupa neugodan osjećaj boli. On potom šalje signal vašemu mozgu i to njegovome dijelu koji se nosi s migrenama, kaže Digre.
Kako su ljudi skloni migrenama i inače vizualno osjetljivi, posebno na plavu svjetlost ekrana, trebali bi ograničiti količinu vremena koju provode uz njih. Pretjerivanje može rezultirati i mantavicama, nakon dužeg perioda naprezanja oka to je uobičajeno.
Što poduzeti?
Ako ne možete ograničiti količinu vremena provedenog za računalom zbog posla, obavezno koristite blage umjetne suze koje će vam pripisati vaš oftalmolog.
Možete pokušati raditi i poznatu vježbu s olovkom. Uzmite olovku u ruku i ispružite ju tako da bude u ravnini s očima. Potom ju pomičite prema centru nosa, polako, i pratite pogledom. Nakon toga ju ponovno udaljite i ponovite potez nekoliko puta. Pomaže kod konvergencije oka.
Stručnjaci predlažu i češće odlaske na pauze, svakih 30 do 45 minuta bilo bi idealno. Ako primijetite da su glavobolje unatoč tome postale prečeste, potražite liječničku pomoć.

Jeste li proteklih tjedana provedenih u samoizolaciji i društveno distancirani od prijatelja i obitelji primijetili da vas češće boli glava?
Karantena uvjetovana pandemijom koronavirusa natjerala nas je da se zatvorimo u kuće, dane provodimo bez "z" od svježeg zraka i presložimo svoju svakodnevicu. Odgovaralo nam to ili ne, našli smo se vezani uz dom.
A iako bi naglu pojavu neobjašnjivih glavobolja mnogi zato pripisali upravo tome, boravku u zatvorenom prostoru, manjku kisika i sunca, višku svađa jednom kad postane jasno da je životni prostor možda i preuzak za baš 24-satno druženje, postoji jedan sasvim drugi krivac za pulsiranje u sljepoočnicama.
Radi se o ekranu. Po želji, ali i svima zajedno. Naprezanje oka može rezultirati ozbiljnim glavoboljama, a jednom kad ste se našli u situaciji da radite od kuće i provodite dodatnu količinu vremena vezani uz zaslon kompjutora, televizora i mobitela, našli ste se u opasnosti da iskusite pritom češće bol u predijelu glave.

Čak i ako inače tome niste skloni. Ekstremna količina vremena provedenog uz ekran, osim naprezanja, rezultira i suhoćom oka, mantavicama, ali i glavoboljom, piše Allure.
Kathleen Digre, šefica Američkog društva za glavobolju, kaže da je uopće ne iznenađuje što se ljudi proteklih tjedana češće žale na glavobolju.
- Naprosto višak vremena provodimo uz ekran, kaže.
Što uzrokuje naprezanje oka?
Čitanje knjiga i dugotrajno gledanje u ekran računala.
- Kad čitamo knjigu ili "buljimo" u ekran, ne trepćemo često koliko bismo to inače radili. U nekakvnom normalnom ritmu ne idemo za tim, ali jednom kad se zagledate u ekran, trepćete sporije, što doprinosi suhoći oka", objašnjava Digre.
Crveni kapci, natečenost i neugodan osjećaj peckanja i svrbeža u očima posljedica su dugotrajnog "zurenja". Ako problemi rezultiraju pojačanom mutnoćom vida, bilo bi dobro provjeriti koliko vam odgovaraju leće ili naočale koje nosite, ukoliko ih nosite. Ako imate prejaku ili preslabu dioptriju na svom pomagalu, to može uzrokovati ekstremna naprezanja oka.
Zašto naprezanje oka uzrokuje glavobolju?
Kod nekih, naprezanje oka može biti samo popratni simptom migrena, tenzijskih glavobolja ili problema sa sinusima. No isto tako, samo naprezanje može prouzrokovati glavobolju ili poslužiti kao okidač.
- Kad vam oči postanu suhe, nastupa neugodan osjećaj boli. On potom šalje signal vašemu mozgu i to njegovome dijelu koji se nosi s migrenama, kaže Digre.
Kako su ljudi skloni migrenama i inače vizualno osjetljivi, posebno na plavu svjetlost ekrana, trebali bi ograničiti količinu vremena koju provode uz njih. Pretjerivanje može rezultirati i mantavicama, nakon dužeg perioda naprezanja oka to je uobičajeno.
Što poduzeti?
Ako ne možete ograničiti količinu vremena provedenog za računalom zbog posla, obavezno koristite blage umjetne suze koje će vam pripisati vaš oftalmolog.
Možete pokušati raditi i poznatu vježbu s olovkom. Uzmite olovku u ruku i ispružite ju tako da bude u ravnini s očima. Potom ju pomičite prema centru nosa, polako, i pratite pogledom. Nakon toga ju ponovno udaljite i ponovite potez nekoliko puta. Pomaže kod konvergencije oka.
Stručnjaci predlažu i češće odlaske na pauze, svakih 30 do 45 minuta bilo bi idealno. Ako primijetite da su glavobolje unatoč tome postale prečeste, potražite liječničku pomoć.
