Predsjednica saborskog Odbora za zdravstvo i socijalnu politiku Renata Sabljar-Dračevac upozorila je u petak da svaki deveti stanovnik u Hrvatskoj boluje od dijabetesa koji je 2020. bio jedan od vodećih uzroka smrtnosti u Hrvatskoj.
''Broj oboljelih povećava se iz godine u godinu, a istraživanja pokazuju da u Hrvatskoj tek 60 posto oboljelih osoba ima postavljenu dijagnozu što znači da svaka deveta osoba u Hrvatskoj ima šećernu bolest'', rekla je Sabljar-Dračevac u povodu obilježavanja prvog hrvatskog Dana šećerne bolesti u Saboru.
Predsjednica saborskog Odbora za zdravstvo dodala kako je ta bolest 2020. bila treći uzrok smrtnosti s udjelom od 8,2 posto.
Kako bi se skrenula pozornost na važnost podizanja svijesti građana o rizicima šećerne bolesti i njezinoj prevenciji, Hrvatski savez dijabetičkih udruga (HSDU) inicirao je javnozdravstvenu akciju mjerenja šećera u krvi i krvnog tlaka za saborske zastupnike.

Taj liječnik upozorava da broj oboljelih od šećerne bolesti u Hrvatskoj premašuje brojku od 500 tisuća, ali od toga ih je registrirano tek oko 330 tisuća. Ukazao je stoga na važnost pravovremenog otkrivanja i liječenja šećerne bolesti radi povećanja kvalitete života oboljelih, ali i zbog smanjenja troškova u zdravstvu.

Predsjednica saborskog Odbora za zdravstvo i socijalnu politiku Renata Sabljar-Dračevac upozorila je u petak da svaki deveti stanovnik u Hrvatskoj boluje od dijabetesa koji je 2020. bio jedan od vodećih uzroka smrtnosti u Hrvatskoj.
''Broj oboljelih povećava se iz godine u godinu, a istraživanja pokazuju da u Hrvatskoj tek 60 posto oboljelih osoba ima postavljenu dijagnozu što znači da svaka deveta osoba u Hrvatskoj ima šećernu bolest'', rekla je Sabljar-Dračevac u povodu obilježavanja prvog hrvatskog Dana šećerne bolesti u Saboru.
Predsjednica saborskog Odbora za zdravstvo dodala kako je ta bolest 2020. bila treći uzrok smrtnosti s udjelom od 8,2 posto.
Kako bi se skrenula pozornost na važnost podizanja svijesti građana o rizicima šećerne bolesti i njezinoj prevenciji, Hrvatski savez dijabetičkih udruga (HSDU) inicirao je javnozdravstvenu akciju mjerenja šećera u krvi i krvnog tlaka za saborske zastupnike.

''Šećerna bolest je važan javnozdravstveni i socioekonomski problem jer se više od 20 posto proračuna Hrvatskog zavoda za zdravstveno osiguranje troši na liječenje te bolesti, od čega čak 88 posto na liječenje kroničnih komplikacija'', kazao je predsjednik Hrvatskog društva za dijabetes i bolesti metabolizma Hrvatskog liječničkog zbora Dario Rahelić
Taj liječnik upozorava da broj oboljelih od šećerne bolesti u Hrvatskoj premašuje brojku od 500 tisuća, ali od toga ih je registrirano tek oko 330 tisuća. Ukazao je stoga na važnost pravovremenog otkrivanja i liječenja šećerne bolesti radi povećanja kvalitete života oboljelih, ali i zbog smanjenja troškova u zdravstvu.
