Ljudi koji su prvo primili cjepivo Johnson & Johnson protiv koronavirusa mogli bi imati koristi od dodatne doze Pfizera ili Moderne, pokazali su preliminarni rezultati američke studije objavljeni u srijedu.

Studija, koju je financirao Nacionalni institut za zdravlje (NIH), s nestrpljenjem se očekivala u Sjedinjenim Državama jer se razmatrala mogućnost "miješanja" cjepiva - korištenje cjepiva različitog od početnih doza za docjepljivanje što trenutno nije dopušteno u zemlji.

Studija je provedena na 458 odraslih osoba koje su prije najmanje 12 tjedana cijepljene s jednim od tri odobrena cjepiva u SAD-u (Pfizer, Moderna ili J&J).

Ove tri skupine podijeljene su u tri nove skupine kako bi dobile jedno od dostupnih cjepiva kao dodatno cijepljenje. Devet grupa sastojalo se od po 50-ak ljudi.

Znanstvenici su zatim analizirali razinu antitijela 15 dana nakon docjepljivanja.

Za ljude koji su prvobitno bili cijepljeni cjepivom Johnson&Johnson, razine protutijela bile su četiri puta veće nakon docjepljivanja istim cjepivom,  35 puta veće nakon docjepljivanja Pfizerom i 76 puta veće nakon docjepljivanja Modernom.

Razina protutijela za one koji su prvobitno primili Modernu bila je veća "bez obzira na to kojim su cjepivom docijepljeni", u usporedbi s onima koji su u početku primali Pfizer ili J&J, navodi se u studiji.

U dodatku na to pokazalo se da "nisu utvrđeni nikakvi sigurnosni problemi" nakon docjepljivanja.

Studija, koja još nije recenzirana, ima nekoliko ograničenja.

Broj sudionika bio je mali, a imuni odgovor mogao se vremenom razvijati i nakon 15 dana koliko je praćen tijekom studije.

"Važno je ne zanositi se previše rezultatima", napisao je na Twitteru Peter Hotez, profesor na Baylor College of Medicine.

Dodao je da su rezultati ispitivanja docjepljivanja cjepivom J&J koje je provela sama tvrtka bili "impresivni".

Studija NIH-a trebala bi potaknuti raspravu stručnog povjerenstva američke Uprave za hranu i lijekove (FDA), koje bi u četvrtak i petak trebalo razmotriti zahtjeve za docjepljivanjem Moderne i J&J-a.

Docjepljivanje Pfizerom već je odobreno u Sjedinjenim Državama za određenu populaciju, poput osoba starijih od 65 ili više godina, odraslih s visokorizičnim zdravstvenim stanjima i onih na poslovima gdje su često izloženi koronavirusu.

Ljudi koji su prvo primili cjepivo Johnson & Johnson protiv koronavirusa mogli bi imati koristi od dodatne doze Pfizera ili Moderne, pokazali su preliminarni rezultati američke studije objavljeni u srijedu.

Studija, koju je financirao Nacionalni institut za zdravlje (NIH), s nestrpljenjem se očekivala u Sjedinjenim Državama jer se razmatrala mogućnost "miješanja" cjepiva - korištenje cjepiva različitog od početnih doza za docjepljivanje što trenutno nije dopušteno u zemlji.

Studija je provedena na 458 odraslih osoba koje su prije najmanje 12 tjedana cijepljene s jednim od tri odobrena cjepiva u SAD-u (Pfizer, Moderna ili J&J).

Ove tri skupine podijeljene su u tri nove skupine kako bi dobile jedno od dostupnih cjepiva kao dodatno cijepljenje. Devet grupa sastojalo se od po 50-ak ljudi.

Znanstvenici su zatim analizirali razinu antitijela 15 dana nakon docjepljivanja.

Za ljude koji su prvobitno bili cijepljeni cjepivom Johnson&Johnson, razine protutijela bile su četiri puta veće nakon docjepljivanja istim cjepivom,  35 puta veće nakon docjepljivanja Pfizerom i 76 puta veće nakon docjepljivanja Modernom.

Razina protutijela za one koji su prvobitno primili Modernu bila je veća "bez obzira na to kojim su cjepivom docijepljeni", u usporedbi s onima koji su u početku primali Pfizer ili J&J, navodi se u studiji.

U dodatku na to pokazalo se da "nisu utvrđeni nikakvi sigurnosni problemi" nakon docjepljivanja.

Studija, koja još nije recenzirana, ima nekoliko ograničenja.

Broj sudionika bio je mali, a imuni odgovor mogao se vremenom razvijati i nakon 15 dana koliko je praćen tijekom studije.

"Važno je ne zanositi se previše rezultatima", napisao je na Twitteru Peter Hotez, profesor na Baylor College of Medicine.

Dodao je da su rezultati ispitivanja docjepljivanja cjepivom J&J koje je provela sama tvrtka bili "impresivni".

Studija NIH-a trebala bi potaknuti raspravu stručnog povjerenstva američke Uprave za hranu i lijekove (FDA), koje bi u četvrtak i petak trebalo razmotriti zahtjeve za docjepljivanjem Moderne i J&J-a.

Docjepljivanje Pfizerom već je odobreno u Sjedinjenim Državama za određenu populaciju, poput osoba starijih od 65 ili više godina, odraslih s visokorizičnim zdravstvenim stanjima i onih na poslovima gdje su često izloženi koronavirusu.

Ljudi koji su prvo primili cjepivo Johnson & Johnson protiv koronavirusa mogli bi imati koristi od dodatne doze Pfizera ili Moderne, pokazali su preliminarni rezultati američke studije objavljeni u srijedu.

Studija, koju je financirao Nacionalni institut za zdravlje (NIH), s nestrpljenjem se očekivala u Sjedinjenim Državama jer se razmatrala mogućnost "miješanja" cjepiva - korištenje cjepiva različitog od početnih doza za docjepljivanje što trenutno nije dopušteno u zemlji.

Studija je provedena na 458 odraslih osoba koje su prije najmanje 12 tjedana cijepljene s jednim od tri odobrena cjepiva u SAD-u (Pfizer, Moderna ili J&J).

Ove tri skupine podijeljene su u tri nove skupine kako bi dobile jedno od dostupnih cjepiva kao dodatno cijepljenje. Devet grupa sastojalo se od po 5...
