Prema studiji objavljenoj u časopisu Clinical Infectious Diseases, najbolje vrijeme za testiranje na covid-19 kućnim testom je četvrti dan nakon pojave simptome. Evo i zašto.

Istraživači su promatrali gotovo 350 ljudi i otkrili da je količina virusa dosegla vrhunac nekoliko dana nakon što su simptomi pojavili.

“Virusno opterećenje odnosi se samo na količinu virusa koji se replicira u vašem tijelu, dakle, što se više virusa replicira, to je veća šansa da test postane pozitivan”, rekao je John Brownstein, glavni direktor za inovacije dječje bolnice Boston.

Pojasnio je da kako infekcija napreduje tako se povećava i količina virusa koji se replicira u tijelu, prenosi ABC News. Studija je pokazala da su kućni testovi bili najtočniji četvrtog dana od pojave simptoma.

Iako su neki detektirali infekciju u prva tri dana, veća je vjerojatnost da u tom razdoblju budu negativni. Autori studije stoga navode da njihovi nalazi ukazuju na to da ljudi ne bi trebali isključiti covid ako su imali negativan test rano nakon pojave simptoma.

Centar za kontrolu i prevenciju bolesti (CDC) preporučuje da se testirate odmah ako imate simptome i ako je negativan, da nakon najmanje 48 sati napravite još jedan test.

Prema studiji objavljenoj u časopisu Clinical Infectious Diseases, najbolje vrijeme za testiranje na covid-19 kućnim testom je četvrti dan nakon pojave simptome. Evo i zašto.

Istraživači su promatrali gotovo 350 ljudi i otkrili da je količina virusa dosegla vrhunac nekoliko dana nakon što su simptomi pojavili.

“Virusno opterećenje odnosi se samo na količinu virusa koji se replicira u vašem tijelu, dakle, što se više virusa replicira, to je veća šansa da test postane pozitivan”, rekao je John Brownstein, glavni direktor za inovacije dječje bolnice Boston.

Pojasnio je da kako infekcija napreduje tako se povećava i količina virusa koji se replicira u tijelu, prenosi ABC News. Studija je pokazala da su kućni testovi bili najtočniji četvrtog dana od pojave simptoma.

Iako su neki detektirali infekciju u prva tri dana, veća je vjerojatnost da u tom razdoblju budu negativni. Autori studije stoga navode da njihovi nalazi ukazuju na to da ljudi ne bi trebali isključiti covid ako su imali negativan test rano nakon pojave simptoma.

Centar za kontrolu i prevenciju bolesti (CDC) preporučuje da se testirate odmah ako imate simptome i ako je negativan, da nakon najmanje 48 sati napravite još jedan test.

Prema studiji objavljenoj u časopisu Clinical Infectious Diseases, najbolje vrijeme za testiranje na covid-19 kućnim testom je četvrti dan nakon pojave simptome. Evo i zašto.

Istraživači su promatrali gotovo 350 ljudi i otkrili da je količina virusa dosegla vrhunac nekoliko dana nakon što su simptomi pojavili.

“Virusno opterećenje odnosi se samo na količinu virusa koji se replicira u vašem tijelu, dakle, što se više virusa replicira, to je veća šansa da test postane pozitivan”, rekao je John Brownstein, glavni direktor za inovacije dječje bolnice Boston.

Pojasnio je da kako infekcija napreduje tako se povećava i količina virusa koji se replicira u tijelu, prenosi ABC News. Studija je pokazala da su kućni testovi bili najtočniji četvrtog dana od pojave simptoma.

Iako su neki detektirali infekciju u prva tri dana, veća je vjerojatnost da u tom razdoblju budu negativni. Autori studije stoga navode da njihovi nalazi ukazuju na to da ljudi ne bi trebali isključiti covid ako su imali negativan test rano nakon pojave simptoma.

Centar za kontrolu i prevenciju bolesti (CDC) preporučuje da se testirate odmah ako imate simptome i ako je negativan, da nakon najmanje 48 sati napravite još jedan test.
