U povodu Svjetskog dana astme, vodeći hrvatski pulmolozi i stručnjaci za respiratorne bolesti predstavili su nove smjernice u liječenju te priručnik “Astma, što je to?”, u kojemu na pregledan i razumljiv način svi oboljeli od astme te osobe koje o njima skrbe mogu pronaći sve informacije o ovoj bolesti.

Dostupna je i istoimena Facebook stranica, na kojoj je zaklada “Hrvatska kuća disanja” premijerno prikazala dokumentarni film “Bez daha”, u kojem se govori o oboljelima od astme koji svoju bolest drže pod kontrolom.

Okupljeni liječnici su na virtualnoj tribini istaknuli kako se oboljeli od astme posljednjih mjeseci nose s nizom izazova; od mjera izolacije, smanjene mogućnosti izlaska i mogućnosti odlaska na redovite preglede, pa do posljedica potresa zbog kojih su neke od ključnih zdravstvenih ustanova postale nedostupne pacijentima.

Ipak, zahvaljujući kvalitetnoj suradnji unutar zdravstvenog sustava, svim bolesnicima s teškom astmom i drugim težim bolesnicima koji zahtijevaju specifične biološke terapije ili neke druge oblike liječenja, uspješno je pružena adekvatna respiratorna skrb u poliklinici na Jordanovcu, naglasio je akademik Miroslav Samaržija, ujedno upravitelj zaklade “Hrvatska kuća disanja”, te pojasnio kako zaraza koronavirusom utječe na astmatičare.

“Osobe oboljele od respiratornih bolesti ugroženije su, no nema pokazatelja da su astmatičari posebno ugrožena kategorija. Ipak, posebnu pažnju treba posvetiti onima s teškom astmom, te pretilim bolesnicima”, kaže akademik Samaržija.

Astma je jedna od najčešćih kroničnih bolesti današnjice, a procjenjuje se da u Hrvatskoj oko 220-250 tisuća osoba boluje od astme.

Najčešće obolijevaju djeca, osobito do 5. godine života, a kod svakog drugog bolesnika javi se prije 10. godine života. U ranoj dobi astma se češće javlja u dječaka, dok je nakon puberteta češća u žena.

Nove smjernice

Ujedno je i među 10 vodećih uzroka smrti u Republici Hrvatskoj te je cilj, ističu stručnjaci, to potpuno promijeniti.

“Prema astmi se treba ponašati kao prema doživotnom suputniku, a ne povremenom gostu. Postizanjem potpune kontrole simptoma oboljeli bez poteškoća mogu obavljati uobičajene dnevne aktivnosti, raditi i baviti se sportom”, ističe prim. dr. Tajana Jalušić-Glunčić, dodajući kako je za bolesnike ključna suradnja s liječnicima i korištenje učinkovite terapije.

Stručnjaci su u priručniku istaknuli kako su posljednjih godinu dana na snazi nove smjernice Globalne inicijative za astmu (GINA), prema kojima je neizmjerno važno provoditi ispravnu i trajnu terapiju, dok je simptomatska terapija, koja se donedavno redovito koristila za kratkotrajno uklanjanje tegoba astme, sada definirana kao alternativna, jer njezino učestalo korištenje otežava postizanje kontrole astme, odnosno uklanja samo površne simptome.

U povodu Svjetskog dana astme, vodeći hrvatski pulmolozi i stručnjaci za respiratorne bolesti predstavili su nove smjernice u liječenju te priručnik “Astma, što je to?”, u kojemu na pregledan i razumljiv način svi oboljeli od astme te osobe koje o njima skrbe mogu pronaći sve informacije o ovoj bolesti.

Dostupna je i istoimena Facebook stranica, na kojoj je zaklada “Hrvatska kuća disanja” premijerno prikazala dokumentarni film “Bez daha”, u kojem se govori o oboljelima od astme koji svoju bolest drže pod kontrolom.

Okupljeni liječnici su na virtualnoj tribini istaknuli kako se oboljeli od astme posljednjih mjeseci nose s nizom izazova; od mjera izolacije, smanjene mogućnosti izlaska i mogućnosti odlaska na redovite preglede, pa do posljedica potresa zbog kojih su neke od ključnih zdravstvenih ustanova postale nedostupne pacijentima.

Ipak, zahvaljujući kvalitetnoj suradnji unutar zdravstvenog sustava, svim bolesnicima s teškom astmom i drugim težim bolesnicima koji zahtijevaju specifične biološke terapije ili neke druge oblike liječenja, uspješno je pružena adekvatna respiratorna skrb u poliklinici na Jordanovcu, naglasio je akademik Miroslav Samaržija, ujedno upravitelj zaklade “Hrvatska kuća disanja”, te pojasnio kako zaraza koronavirusom utječe na astmatičare.

“Osobe oboljele od respiratornih bolesti ugroženije su, no nema pokazatelja da su astmatičari posebno ugrožena kategorija. Ipak, posebnu pažnju treba posvetiti onima s teškom astmom, te pretilim bolesnicima”, kaže akademik Samaržija.

Astma je jedna od najčešćih kroničnih bolesti današnjice, a procjenjuje se da u Hrvatskoj oko 220-250 tisuća osoba boluje od astme.

Najčešće obolijevaju djeca, osobito do 5. godine života, a kod svakog drugog bolesnika javi se prije 10. godine života. U ranoj dobi astma se češće javlja u dječaka, dok je nakon puberteta češća u žena.

Nove smjernice

Ujedno je i među 10 vodećih uzroka smrti u Republici Hrvatskoj te je cilj, ističu stručnjaci, to potpuno promijeniti.

“Prema astmi se treba ponašati kao prema doživotnom suputniku, a ne povremenom gostu. Postizanjem potpune kontrole simptoma oboljeli bez poteškoća mogu obavljati uobičajene dnevne aktivnosti, raditi i baviti se sportom”, ističe prim. dr. Tajana Jalušić-Glunčić, dodajući kako je za bolesnike ključna suradnja s liječnicima i korištenje učinkovite terapije.

Stručnjaci su u priručniku istaknuli kako su posljednjih godinu dana na snazi nove smjernice Globalne inicijative za astmu (GINA), prema kojima je neizmjerno važno provoditi ispravnu i trajnu terapiju, dok je simptomatska terapija, koja se donedavno redovito koristila za kratkotrajno uklanjanje tegoba astme, sada definirana kao alternativna, jer njezino učestalo korištenje otežava postizanje kontrole astme, odnosno uklanja samo površne simptome.

U povodu Svjetskog dana astme, vodeći hrvatski pulmolozi i stručnjaci za respiratorne bolesti predstavili su nove smjernice u liječenju te priručnik “Astma, što je to?”, u kojemu na pregledan i razumljiv način svi oboljeli od astme te osobe koje o njima skrbe mogu pronaći sve informacije o ovoj bolesti.

Dostupna je i istoimena Facebook stranica, na kojoj je zaklada “Hrvatska kuća disanja” premijerno prikazala dokumentarni film “Bez daha”, u kojem se govori o oboljelima od astme koji svoju bolest drže pod kontrolom.



Okupljeni liječnici su na virtualnoj tribini istaknuli kako se oboljeli od astme posljednjih mjeseci nose s nizom izazova; od mjera izolacije, smanjene mogućnosti izlaska i mogućnosti odlaska na redovite preglede, pa do posljedica potresa zbog kojih su...
