Mozaik informacija o novom koronavirusu i COVID-u 19 nadopunjava se gotovo svakodnevno i još je uvijek mnogo nepoznanica na koje ni stručnjaci za sada nemaju pouzdan odgovor.

Tako se ovih dana našoj redakciji javio čitatelj koji je prije nekoliko dana bio u kontaktu s prijateljem koji je pozitivan na koronavirus, iako nije imao nikakve druge simptome osim gubitka okusa. Nakon toga i sam se otišao testirati i nakon dana neizvjesnosti dobio je nalaz koji se smatra nevažećim. Naravno, od epidemiologa je dobio uputu što mora nakon toga učiniti, a mi smo za sve one koji mogu imati slično iskustvo potražili objašnjenje što ovakav nalaz znači i kako se osoba i njezina okolina u tom slučaju trebaju ponašati.

- Kad je test nevažeći treba ga ponoviti u roku od 24 do 48 sati, nakon čega će se vidjeti je li pozitivan ili negativan. Imamo različitih ishoda. Nije ništa neobično da dobijemo nevažeći nalaz, takav je poneki svakodnevno. I ne samo kod nas, nego se to događa u svim drugim laboratorijima gdje se obavljaju testiranja na koronavirus.

U pozitivnom testu se dokažu barem dva ciljna virusna antigena. A ako se nađe samo jedan, a drugi ne, test je diskutabilan za interpretaciju te se izdaje kao nevažeći s preporukom da se ponovi za 24 do 48 sati. Zbog ovakvih nalaza ne treba se plašiti, jer će se u ponovljenom nalazu pokazati je li osoba pozitivna ili negativna, a do tada se treba držati propisanih epidemioloških mjera, a to znači izbjegavati bliske kontakte s ukućanima i drugim ljudima, često pranje ruku, nošenje maske... pojašnjava prof. dr. sc. Inače, smatra se da je osoba zarazna 48 sati prije pojave prvih simptoma. Također, osoba koja je testirana iz bilo kojeg razloga, recimo zbog predstojećeg operativnog zahvata, zbog odlaska na putovanje ili zbog rada u određenim službama... a bez simptoma je i dobije pozitivan nalaz, onda tražimo njegove kontakte unutar zadnjih 48 sati prije testiranja, jer je očito bila u kontaktu s nekom zaraženom osobom u tom razdoblju. Dakle, treba istražiti s kim je sve bila u kontaktu i jesu li te osobe imale simptome bolesti. U konkretnom slučaju koji spominjete, ističe se da je pozitivna osoba imala gubitak osjeta okusa.

No, moguće je da je taj simptom bio samo jedan u nizu onih kojima se nije pridavala pažnja, kao što je recimo grebanje u grlu, ili kašljucanje koje se pripisivalo reakciji na klima-uređaj, ili konzumiranju sladoleda, hladnih pića... a koji su ljeti uobičajeni neovisno o koronavirusu i stoga ih se često zanemaruje. U svakom slučaju, prije pojave prvih simptoma osoba je zarazna 48 sati i smatra se da svi koji su s njom bili u kontaktu trebaju biti testirani ili u samoizolaciji i držati se propisanih epidemioloških mjera, ističe dr. Jurčev Savičević.

Mozaik informacija o novom koronavirusu i COVID-u 19 nadopunjava se gotovo svakodnevno i još je uvijek mnogo nepoznanica na koje ni stručnjaci za sada nemaju pouzdan odgovor.

Tako se ovih dana našoj redakciji javio čitatelj koji je prije nekoliko dana bio u kontaktu s prijateljem koji je pozitivan na koronavirus, iako nije imao nikakve druge simptome osim gubitka okusa. Nakon toga i sam se otišao testirati i nakon dana neizvjesnosti dobio je nalaz koji se smatra nevažećim. Naravno, od epidemiologa je dobio uputu što mora nakon toga učiniti, a mi smo za sve one koji mogu imati slično iskustvo potražili objašnjenje što ovakav nalaz znači i kako se osoba i njezina okolina u tom slučaju trebaju ponašati.

- Kad je test nevažeći treba ga ponoviti u roku od 24 do 48 sati, nakon čega će se vidjeti je li pozitivan ili negativan. Imamo različitih ishoda. Nije ništa neobično da dobijemo nevažeći nalaz, takav je poneki svakodnevno. I ne samo kod nas, nego se to događa u svim drugim laboratorijima gdje se obavljaju testiranja na koronavirus.

U pozitivnom testu se dokažu barem dva ciljna virusna antigena. A ako se nađe samo jedan, a drugi ne, test je diskutabilan za interpretaciju te se izdaje kao nevažeći s preporukom da se ponovi za 24 do 48 sati. Zbog ovakvih nalaza ne treba se plašiti, jer će se u ponovljenom nalazu pokazati je li osoba pozitivna ili negativna, a do tada se treba držati propisanih epidemioloških mjera, a to znači izbjegavati bliske kontakte s ukućanima i drugim ljudima, često pranje ruku, nošenje maske... pojašnjava prof. dr. sc. Inače, smatra se da je osoba zarazna 48 sati prije pojave prvih simptoma. Također, osoba koja je testirana iz bilo kojeg razloga, recimo zbog predstojećeg operativnog zahvata, zbog odlaska na putovanje ili zbog rada u određenim službama... a bez simptoma je i dobije pozitivan nalaz, onda tražimo njegove kontakte unutar zadnjih 48 sati prije testiranja, jer je očito bila u kontaktu s nekom zaraženom osobom u tom razdoblju. Dakle, treba istražiti s kim je sve bila u kontaktu i jesu li te osobe imale simptome bolesti. U konkretnom slučaju koji spominjete, ističe se da je pozitivna osoba imala gubitak osjeta okusa.

No, moguće je da je taj simptom bio samo jedan u nizu onih kojima se nije pridavala pažnja, kao što je recimo grebanje u grlu, ili kašljucanje koje se pripisivalo reakciji na klima-uređaj, ili konzumiranju sladoleda, hladnih pića... a koji su ljeti uobičajeni neovisno o koronavirusu i stoga ih se često zanemaruje. U svakom slučaju, prije pojave prvih simptoma osoba je zarazna 48 sati i smatra se da svi koji su s njom bili u kontaktu trebaju biti testirani ili u samoizolaciji i držati se propisanih epidemioloških mjera, ističe dr. Jurčev Savičević.
