Umjesto iščekivanja "nekih boljih vremena" i unatoč mišljenju mnogih da "nije pravo vrijeme za velike investicije", menadžment resorta "Le Meridien Lav" zasukao je rukave i krenuo u temeljito i opsežno renoviranje, zbog čega luksuzni hotel u sklopu resorta ljetnu sezonu dočekuje spreman za nove goste, u potpuno novom, osvježenom ruhu.
Upravo završena "proljetna faza" renovacije hotela tek je prva od tri predviđene faze obnove, zahvaljujući kojima će "Le Meridien Lav" dobiti posve nov izgled. U prvoj fazi, koja je upravo završila, kultni splitski hotel oplemenjen je novim vizualnim identitetom smještajnih kapaciteta, ali i javnih prostorija poput predvorja, recepcije, bara i samog ulaza u hotel. Temeljiti "makeover" hotela povjeren je timu međunarodnog arhitektonskog ureda "Atellior", koji mu je darovao prozračan i moderan izgled, istovremeno ne ispuštajući iz vida bogato naslijeđe hotela i važnost koju hotel ima u identitetu Splita i kolektivnoj memoriji njegovih stanovnika. Upravo je zato koncept preuređenja baziran na spoju mediteranskog ambijenta i mid century stila samog brenda, a društvena je vrijednost integrirana u dizajn umjetničkim radovima u sobama hotela koje potpisuju fotografi poput Feđe Klarića i Stanka Karamana, koji od šezdesetih godina dokumentiraju život na splitskim ulicama.

Već od ovoga tjedna goste dočekuje 180 obnovljenih soba u dva hotelska bloka iznad marine, obnovljene su i kongresne dvorane, a novost u "Lavu" jest to da je hotel od ove sezone bogatiji za još tri poslovne dvorane namijenjene za sastanke i druge događaje. Hotel sada raspolaže s čak 12 kongresnih dvorana i prostorija za evente, a dvorane nose nazive po poznatim splitskim umjetnicima kao što su Meštrović, Marulić, Vidović...
No, tu novostima nije kraj. Osim hotelskih soba i javnih prostorija u novom ruhu, "Le Meridien Lav" može se podičiti novim vinskim podrumom te luksuznim, suvremenim apartmanom od 143 kvadratna metra koji krasi prostrana terasa s nezaboravnim pogledom na marinu, a koja je začinjena jacuzzijem i sunčalištem s pogledom na obližnje otoke. No, osim estetike, pri preuređenju se vodilo računa i o drugim funkcijama koje prostor treba zadovoljiti.

- Jedan od glavnih upita od hotela bio je osmisliti sobu koja karakterom odgovara resortu, ali može zadovoljiti sve potrebe gosta hotela koji ima i konferencijski centar. To je podrazumijevalo osmisliti više garderobnog prostora, ukinuti klasične hotelske komade poput pisaćeg stola i stolca te predstaviti višenamjenski namještaj. Kad je riječ o javnom prostoru, najveći je izazov bio osmisliti dizajn bara koji će biti centralni element, ali pozicioniran tako da omogućuje nesmetan pogled s terase na marinu i otoke, objasnili su iz "Atellior" tima.
Unatoč tome što je pred nama još jedna "pandemijska" sezona, tim "Le Meridien Lava" iznimno je optimističan i vjeruje da se ove godine možemo nadati boljoj sezoni.

- U turizmu je ključ uspjeha čovjek! Zaposlenici su naša najveća snaga i doista smo učinili iznimne napore kako bismo unatoč svim izazovima prošle i ove godine zadržali sve stalne zaposlenike. Očekuje nas još jedna pandemijska sezona, to je sigurno, međutim vjerujem da se, ako se cijepimo i ako se budemo pridržavali epidemioloških mjera, možemo nadati boljoj sezoni nego 2020., izjavio je Arnoud Zaalberg, generalni direktor resorta "Le Meridien Lav".
Ovo je, inače, tek prva faza obnove splitskog resorta koja je koštala 5,15 milijuna eura od ukupno tri, koje će uključiti obnovu svih smještajnih kapaciteta, modernizaciju i proširenje marine u sklopu samog resorta, dodatno uređenje plaža, kao i poslovnih prostorija u samoj marini, a što bi trebalo biti finalizirano do ljeta 2022. godine.

Umjesto iščekivanja "nekih boljih vremena" i unatoč mišljenju mnogih da "nije pravo vrijeme za velike investicije", menadžment resorta "Le Meridien Lav" zasukao je rukave i krenuo u temeljito i opsežno renoviranje, zbog čega luksuzni hotel u sklopu resorta ljetnu sezonu dočekuje spreman za nove goste, u potpuno novom, osvježenom ruhu.
Upravo završena "proljetna faza" renovacije hotela tek je prva od tri predviđene faze obnove, zahvaljujući kojima će "Le Meridien Lav" dobiti posve nov izgled. U prvoj fazi, koja je upravo završila, kultni splitski hotel oplemenjen je novim vizualnim identitetom smještajnih kapaciteta, ali i javnih prostorija poput predvorja, recepcije, bara i samog ulaza u hotel. Temeljiti "makeover" hotela povjeren je timu međunarodnog arhitektonskog ureda "Atellior", koji mu je darovao prozračan i moderan izgled, istovremeno ne ispuštajući iz vida bogato naslijeđe hotela i važnost koju hotel ima u identitetu Splita i kolektivnoj memoriji njegovih stanovnika. Upravo je zato koncept preuređenja baziran na spoju mediteranskog ambijenta i mid century stila samog brenda, a društvena je vrijednost integrirana u dizajn umjetničkim radovima u sobama hotela koje potpisuju fotografi poput Feđe Klarića i Stanka Karamana, koji od šezdesetih godina dokumentiraju život na splitskim ulicama.

Već od ovoga tjedna goste dočekuje 180 obnovljenih soba u dva hotelska bloka iznad marine, obnovljene su i kongresne dvorane, a novost u "Lavu" jest to da je hotel od ove sezone bogatiji za još tri poslovne dvorane namijenjene za sastanke i druge događaje. Hotel sada raspolaže s čak 12 kongresnih dvorana i prostorija za evente, a dvorane nose nazive po poznatim splitskim umjetnicima kao što su Meštrović, Marulić, Vidović...
No, tu novostima nije kraj. Osim hotelskih soba i javnih prostorija u novom ruhu, "Le Meridien Lav" može se podičiti novim vinskim podrumom te luksuznim, suvremenim apartmanom od 143 kvadratna metra koji krasi prostrana terasa s nezaboravnim pogledom na marinu, a koja je začinjena jacuzzijem i sunčalištem s pogledom na obližnje otoke. No, osim estetike, pri preuređenju se vodilo računa i o drugim funkcijama koje prostor treba zadovoljiti.

- Jedan od glavnih upita od hotela bio je osmisliti sobu koja karakterom odgovara resortu, ali može zadovoljiti sve potrebe gosta hotela koji ima i konferencijski centar. To je podrazumijevalo osmisliti više garderobnog prostora, ukinuti klasične hotelske komade poput pisaćeg stola i stolca te predstaviti višenamjenski namještaj. Kad je riječ o javnom prostoru, najveći je izazov bio osmisliti dizajn bara koji će biti centralni element, ali pozicioniran tako da omogućuje nesmetan pogled s terase na marinu i otoke, objasnili su iz "Atellior" tima.
Unatoč tome što je pred nama još jedna "pandemijska" sezona, tim "Le Meridien Lava" iznimno je optimističan i vjeruje da se ove godine možemo nadati boljoj sezoni.

- U turizmu je ključ uspjeha čovjek! Zaposlenici su naša najveća snaga i doista smo učinili iznimne napore kako bismo unatoč svim izazovima prošle i ove godine zadržali sve stalne zaposlenike. Očekuje nas još jedna pandemijska sezona, to je sigurno, međutim vjerujem da se, ako se cijepimo i ako se budemo pridržavali epidemioloških mjera, možemo nadati boljoj sezoni nego 2020., izjavio je Arnoud Zaalberg, generalni direktor resorta "Le Meridien Lav".
Ovo je, inače, tek prva faza obnove splitskog resorta koja je koštala 5,15 milijuna eura od ukupno tri, koje će uključiti obnovu svih smještajnih kapaciteta, modernizaciju i proširenje marine u sklopu samog resorta, dodatno uređenje plaža, kao i poslovnih prostorija u samoj marini, a što bi trebalo biti finalizirano do ljeta 2022. godine.
