Ficus lyrata zimzeleno je drvo iz porodice Moracea poznato kao Lirasti fikus ili Fiddle leaf fig. Iz vertikalnih, malo razgranatih stabljika izrastaju veliki, tamnozeleni listovi, kožaste strukture, izražene nervature i valovitog ruba koji mogu dosegnuti i dužinu od 40 cm. Ako se uzgaja kao sobna biljka, izostaje plod. Puno direktne svjetlosti i vlažna, dobro drenirana zemlja najbolje oponašaju uvjete prirodnog staništa, piše Dom&Dizajn.

Ovo je biljka “sa stavom”, koja mijenja izgled i atmosferu svakog prostora, a savršen odnos volumena krošnje i praznine debla, strukturiranosti i svojevrsne hirovitosti daju joj odlike skulpture u prostoru. Smatra se zahtjevnom za održavanje, ali ako joj se osiguraju adekvatni uvjeti (puno direktne svjetlosti i redovito zalijevanje), nije. Ako ovu vrstu fikusa ne možete smjestiti neposredno uz prozor, gdje direktne sunčeve zrake dopiru do svih njezinih dijelova, predlažemo da odaberete za svoj dom ili poslovni prostor neku drugu biljku.

Obično raste u visinu, ali ako vam je prevelik, odrežite ga vrtlarskim škarama na visinu koja vam odgovara. Biljka nakon toga više neće rasti u visinu nego će se granati u širinu. Odrezani dio stavite u posudu s vodom, u kojoj će pustiti korijenje pa ga nakon nekog vremena možete presaditi u zemlju. Nagli rast možete spriječiti i tako da podrežete korijenje (najviše 20 posto) i ne presađujete ga svake dvije godine u veću teglu.

Biljku treba zalijevati u prosjeku jedanput tjedno, pogotovo kada se gornji sloj zemlje isuši, no i izgled opuštenih listova bit će vam jako dobar pokazatelj velike potrebe ove biljke za vodom. U razdoblju od proljeća do kasne jeseni biljku je potrebno dohranjivati tekućim gnojivom za lisne sobne biljke.

Ficus lyrata zimzeleno je drvo iz porodice Moracea poznato kao Lirasti fikus ili Fiddle leaf fig. Iz vertikalnih, malo razgranatih stabljika izrastaju veliki, tamnozeleni listovi, kožaste strukture, izražene nervature i valovitog ruba koji mogu dosegnuti i dužinu od 40 cm. Ako se uzgaja kao sobna biljka, izostaje plod. Puno direktne svjetlosti i vlažna, dobro drenirana zemlja najbolje oponašaju uvjete prirodnog staništa, piše Dom&Dizajn.

Ovo je biljka “sa stavom”, koja mijenja izgled i atmosferu svakog prostora, a savršen odnos volumena krošnje i praznine debla, strukturiranosti i svojevrsne hirovitosti daju joj odlike skulpture u prostoru. Smatra se zahtjevnom za održavanje, ali ako joj se osiguraju adekvatni uvjeti (puno direktne svjetlosti i redovito zalijevanje), nije. Ako ovu vrstu fikusa ne možete smjestiti neposredno uz prozor, gdje direktne sunčeve zrake dopiru do svih njezinih dijelova, predlažemo da odaberete za svoj dom ili poslovni prostor neku drugu biljku.

Obično raste u visinu, ali ako vam je prevelik, odrežite ga vrtlarskim škarama na visinu koja vam odgovara. Biljka nakon toga više neće rasti u visinu nego će se granati u širinu. Odrezani dio stavite u posudu s vodom, u kojoj će pustiti korijenje pa ga nakon nekog vremena možete presaditi u zemlju. Nagli rast možete spriječiti i tako da podrežete korijenje (najviše 20 posto) i ne presađujete ga svake dvije godine u veću teglu.

Biljku treba zalijevati u prosjeku jedanput tjedno, pogotovo kada se gornji sloj zemlje isuši, no i izgled opuštenih listova bit će vam jako dobar pokazatelj velike potrebe ove biljke za vodom. U razdoblju od proljeća do kasne jeseni biljku je potrebno dohranjivati tekućim gnojivom za lisne sobne biljke.
