Kada su se princ Albert II. od Monaka (64)i njegova supruga Charlène (44) pojavili na proslavi u srijedu 14. prosinca, Albert je imao flaster na čelu. Kako prenosi Bunte, princ je operiran neposredno prije 8. rođendana svoje dvoje djece, koji su proslavili 10. prosinca.

---Madeži su, kako se navodi, uklonjeni s prednje i stražnje strane glave monegaškog suverena, a uzorci su poslani u laboratorij. To nije prvi put da Albert II. mora proći takvu operaciju. Princ je već tri puta operiran na glavi, javlja njemački magazin.
U ožujku 2014. Albertu II. je uklonjen benigni madež. U to se vrijeme Albert pojavio na ragbi utakmici u Francuskoj s velikim flasterom na glavi. "Procedura je prošla dobro. Daljnje medicinske mjere neće biti potrebne", priopćila je tada palača.

U 2019. princ je morao proći još jedan dermatološki postupak. Također je rečeno da je sve prošlo dobro. Operacija je bila "dugo planirana i kratka". Prinčev program rada ni na koji način nije pogođen", pojasnio je tada glasnogovornik palače. Čak i sada Albert II. se vratio normalnom životu odmah nakon uklanjanja madeža, kao što pokazuju trenutne fotografije.
Prevencija raka kože važna je princezi Charlène koja je, kao bivša plivačica, često trenirala na suncu. Također se kaže da je senzibilizirala svog muža na tu temu.
