Londonska četvrt Soho, poznata po svečanom noćnom životu, testira novu metodu za borbu protiv ponavljajućeg problema muškaraca koji uriniraju na ulicama: prekrivajući zidove čudnom bojom "protiv mokrenja".
Vlasti okruga - koji ima mnogo barova, restorana i kazališta, ali i oko 3.000 stanovnika - uhvatile su se u koštac s bojanjem zidova na desetak strateških mjesta, piše RTL.be.

Stvara se vodoodbojni prozirni sloj na zidovima, koji vraća urin, što je način da se odmah kazne krivci.
"To je vrlo učinkovito, dokazano je", rekla je lokalna vijećnica Aicha Less za AFP, pokazujući učinke spreja prskanjem zida bocom vode.
Gradsko vijeće Westminstera, koje pokriva Soho, pokrenulo je projekt nakon što je zaprimilo brojne pritužbe stanovnika i lokalnih zaposlenika i tvrtki.
"Očito je da urin nije baš ugodan i naši stanovnici su ljuti", priznaje gospođa Less.
"Ujutro čim pređete prag svojih vrata imate taj miris urina", dodaje ona i naglašava pravo svojih građana "da žive u čistom i sigurnom okruženju".
Lokalne vlasti, koje su odlučile koristiti ovu boju nakon što su saznale za slična iskustva drugdje, posebice u Njemačkoj, planiraju obojati deset zidova na strateškim lokacijama u Sohou.

Gradsko vijeće Westminstera troši gotovo milijun funti (1,15 milijuna eura) svake godine za čišćenje ulica i posipa vodu na one koji su onečišćeni urinom. Nadaju se da će bojanje pomoći da smanji te troškove.
"Vidjet ćemo koliku razliku čini za šest mjeseci i ima li manje tog mirisa u zraku", rekao je Less.
Iako su muškarci koji mokre u javnosti ponavljajući problem u živim četvrtima noćnog života, stanovnici Sohoa kažu da je ta tema posebno kritična na njihovim ulicama.

Londonska četvrt Soho, poznata po svečanom noćnom životu, testira novu metodu za borbu protiv ponavljajućeg problema muškaraca koji uriniraju na ulicama: prekrivajući zidove čudnom bojom "protiv mokrenja".
Vlasti okruga - koji ima mnogo barova, restorana i kazališta, ali i oko 3.000 stanovnika - uhvatile su se u koštac s bojanjem zidova na desetak strateških mjesta, piše RTL.be.
Stvara se vodoodbojni prozirni sloj na zidovima, koji vraća urin, što je način da se odmah kazne krivci.
