Bizaran novi trend u beauty tretmanima uključuje nanošenje urina na lice kako bi se pospješila kvaliteta tena. Ovaj u najmanju ruku nesvakidašnji postupak naziva se urinoterapija ili 'maska od urina', a može se izvoditi kod kuće, piše Independent.

 Uključuje prikupljanje urina, namakanje krpe u njega te apliciranje putem krpe na lice gdje se ostavlja da se osuši i potom ispire vodom.

Oni odvažni koji su ovu vrstu tretmana isprobali tvrde da čisti kožu, sužava pore poput tonera, a može čak liječiti psorijazu, ekcem i akne. Tvrde također da urea i mokraćna kiselina uklanjaju gornje slojeve mrtve kože te da pomažu tijelu upiti nutrijente koji inače nestaju u WC školjci.

Navodno najjači i najefikasniji za ovu namjenu je jutarnji urin, budući da je u tijelu proveo duže vrijeme.

No ljubiteljima urinalnih maski ipak nisu uvjerili stručnjake, a dio onih koji se usudio ovo isprobati nisu dobili očekivane rezultate. Novinarka Thrillista probala je urinoterapiju no metoda joj je samo iritirala kožu te potaknula pojavu osipa.

Kirurginja dermatologije iz New Yorka Sejal Shah upozorila je da urin može uzrokovati reakcije na licu te da nije dovoljno učinkovit da bi opravdao rizik.

- Urin je uglavnom sačinjen od vode i u njemu ima vrlo malo ureje. Sadržava manje od 5 posto dok proizvodi za njegu kože s urejom sadržavaju najmanje 10 posto - izjavila je Shah.

Dermatolog Neal Schultz smatra pak da su drugi prirodni proizvodi kao što su čaj, jabučni ocat i ulje čajevca ipak bolji izbor od urina.

Bizaran novi trend u beauty tretmanima uključuje nanošenje urina na lice kako bi se pospješila kvaliteta tena. Ovaj u najmanju ruku nesvakidašnji postupak naziva se urinoterapija ili 'maska od urina', a može se izvoditi kod kuće, piše Independent.

 Uključuje prikupljanje urina, namakanje krpe u njega te apliciranje putem krpe na lice gdje se ostavlja da se osuši i potom ispire vodom.

Oni odvažni koji su ovu vrstu tretmana isprobali tvrde da čisti kožu, sužava pore poput tonera, a može čak liječiti psorijazu, ekcem i akne. Tvrde također da urea i mokraćna kiselina uklanjaju gornje slojeve mrtve kože te da pomažu tijelu upiti nutrijente koji inače nestaju u WC školjci.

Navodno najjači i najefikasniji za ovu namjenu je jutarnji urin, budući da je u tijelu proveo duže vrijeme.

No ljubiteljima urinalnih maski ipak nisu uvjerili stručnjake, a dio onih koji se usudio ovo isprobati nisu dobili očekivane rezultate. Novinarka Thrillista probala je urinoterapiju no metoda joj je samo iritirala kožu te potaknula pojavu osipa.

Kirurginja dermatologije iz New Yorka Sejal Shah upozorila je da urin može uzrokovati reakcije na licu te da nije dovoljno učinkovit da bi opravdao rizik.

- Urin je uglavnom sačinjen od vode i u njemu ima vrlo malo ureje. Sadržava manje od 5 posto dok proizvodi za njegu kože s urejom sadržavaju najmanje 10 posto - izjavila je Shah.

Dermatolog Neal Schultz smatra pak da su drugi prirodni proizvodi kao što su čaj, jabučni ocat i ulje čajevca ipak bolji izbor od urina.
