Većina ljudi koji boluju od astigmatizma ili imaju tzv. "cilindar" toga do svoje dijagnoze nije bila svjesna - dok im okulist nije stanje objasnio nisu ni znali što je to.

No vrlo moguće da im to nije ni nakon objašnjenja mnogo jasnije. Ili, bolje rečeno, sve je u teoriji jasno, ali u praksi... Ne baš.

Još je teže astigmatizam pojmiti onima koji nemaju dioptriju. Te dvije stavke, naime, ne idu nužno zajedno, pa oni koji nemaju problem s gledanjem na daljinu ili blizinu, često ni ne otkriju da imaju abnormalno zakrivljenje očne rožnice.

Ne iznenađuje stoga ogromna popularnost koju je doživio korisnik Twittera koji je ljudima pružio sasvim jednostavan trik za otkrivanje boluju li ili ne od ove "greške" oka.

A tajna je u - svjetlu.

Dvije fotografije prikazuju prometnu cestu po noći, a svjetla automobila kao i javna rasvjeta otkrivaju kako bi sliku vidjeli oni s astigmatizmom (lijevo), te oni bez problema (desno).

 

Objava je u samo tjedan dana pregledana oko pedeset tisuća puta. Ljudi su u šoku.

"Čekaj, ljudi vide svjetla - normalno?! Ne vide svi ove crte??", u šoku je korisnik koji očito od astigmatizma boluje bez svojega znanja. 

"Ja sam mislio da svi vide ove linije, kad sam bio mali škiljio bih da ih produljim kako bih se zabavio, mislio sam da je normalno", pišu drugi.

Svakako, mnogo je zbunjenih, ali i još veći broj onih koji konačno znaju "na čemu su".

Većina ljudi koji boluju od astigmatizma ili imaju tzv. "cilindar" toga do svoje dijagnoze nije bila svjesna - dok im okulist nije stanje objasnio nisu ni znali što je to.

No vrlo moguće da im to nije ni nakon objašnjenja mnogo jasnije. Ili, bolje rečeno, sve je u teoriji jasno, ali u praksi... Ne baš.

Još je teže astigmatizam pojmiti onima koji nemaju dioptriju. Te dvije stavke, naime, ne idu nužno zajedno, pa oni koji nemaju problem s gledanjem na daljinu ili blizinu, često ni ne otkriju da imaju abnormalno zakrivljenje očne rožnice.

Ne iznenađuje stoga ogromna popularnost koju je doživio korisnik Twittera koji je ljudima pružio sasvim jednostavan trik za otkrivanje boluju li ili ne od ove "greške" oka.

A tajna je u - svjetlu.

Dvije fotografije prikazuju prometnu cestu po noći, a svjetla automobila kao i javna rasvjeta otkrivaju kako bi sliku vidjeli oni s astigmatizmom (lijevo), te oni bez problema (desno).

 

Objava je u samo tjedan dana pregledana oko pedeset tisuća puta. Ljudi su u šoku.

"Čekaj, ljudi vide svjetla - normalno?! Ne vide svi ove crte??", u šoku je korisnik koji očito od astigmatizma boluje bez svojega znanja. 

"Ja sam mislio da svi vide ove linije, kad sam bio mali škiljio bih da ih produljim kako bih se zabavio, mislio sam da je normalno", pišu drugi.

Svakako, mnogo je zbunjenih, ali i još veći broj onih koji konačno znaju "na čemu su".
