Nedavni ljetni neverin koji je nakratko zahvatio splitsko područje, kao i vozačica u Smartu koja je na mokrom kolniku zaplesala kao u najboljoj baletnoj točki, podsjetili su nas na zamke koje kriju skliske ceste nakon ljetnog pljuska. 

Kiša i mokri asfalt inače su redoviti pratitelji svih vozača koji hvataju posljednje dane ljeta i putuju na godišnji odmor, ali takve stvari se događaju i u srcu ljetne sezone, poput ovog spomenutog na početku teksta. Mnogi vozači nemaju pojma, a kamoli iskustva da ljeti na mokrim kolnicima može biti jednako sklisko kao i zimi, po snijegu i poledici. Kad nakon ljetne sparine padne kiša, površinski se sloj prašine navlaži i cesta postaje skliska kao na poledici.

To je osobito opasno na našim cestama u Dalmaciji, gdje je asfalt bogat vapnencem koji se izlučuje na vrućini i s prvim kapima kiše postaje iznimno opasan, naročito ako se ne vozi oprezno. Čim počnu padati prve kapi kiše treba smanjiti gas, a brzinu prilagoditi novim uvjetima. Naime, prve minute na mokrom asfaltu od kiše nakon niza sunčanih i vrućih dana znaju biti podmukle i prepune neočekivanih opasnosti. Tu se prije svega misli na brzo i neočekivano proklizavanje pogonskih kotača, kako pri ubrzanju, tako i pri kočenju, a naročito u zavojima. Upuštanje u avanture u ljetnim kišnim uvjetima s istrošenim gumama i neispravnim kočnicama ravno je ruskom ruletu. Toga bi trebao biti svjestan vlasnik svakog starijeg i zapuštenijeg automobila.

Obično nakon velikih vrućina i sparina zna uslijediti ljetni neverin, koji u tren posla natopi vreli asfalt na kojem se prethodno nakupila prašina, stoga nije naodmet po tko zna koji put ponoviti kako se ponašati u vožnji prilikom iznenadnog ljetnog pljuska kada sparinu i omarinu zamijene kišni oblaci i iznenadne padaline. I upravo na kiši, posebice na onoj ljetnoj, poznaju se junaci. Ovo valja dobro upamtiti u vrijeme kada kiše i nevere smjenjuju ljetne vrućine. Kiša koja padne nakon duže sparine pretvara ceste u opasne skliske podloge.

Najopasnije je kad kiša počinje. Ne kad padnu prve kapljice, nego kad se navlaži cijeli kolnik. Najkritičnije je kad je cesta toliko navlažena da se vide tragovi prolaska prethodnog vozila. Tad se površinski sloj prašine pomiješa s vodom, tvoreći tanak sloj blata, koji je opasan poput leda. Tada neiskustvo i nepažnja vozača te neispravnost vozila dolaze do izražaja u punoj mjeri. Najgore je što niti jedan vozač, u niti jednom automobilu, ne može biti potpuno siguran, jer ne može utjecati na ponašanje ostalih sudionika u prometu. Najbolji savjet je ne voziti za ljetnih kiša ili barem pričekati dok kiša ne ispere površinski sloj ceste. 

Mnogi ipak nisu spremni za ovakva „odricanja“, što se donekle može shvatiti ako je automobil potpuno ispravan. U slučaju ljetnog pljuska vrlo je važno znati da je vožnja po mokrom asfaltu jednaka onoj na zaleđenoj cesti zimi. Stoga treba pripaziti na nekoliko bitnih stvari. Najvažnija je brzina, jer s prvim kapima kiše treba usporiti i voziti što laganije, ne brže od 80 km/h, čak i na autocesti. Pritom treba povećati razmak od vozila ispred sebe na barem 50 metara, izbjegavati nagle pokrete volanom ili pritiske na papučicu kočnice. 

Treba voditi računa o tome da se papučica kočnice pritišće što opreznije i laganije, te izbjegavati naglo uključivanje nižeg stupnja prijenosa jer kotači mogu blokirati. Uz to treba izbjegavati sva pretjecanja i pozorno motriti na ostale sudionike u prometu, posebice na motocikliste i pješake. Za bolju vidljivost, ali i za druge da vas bolje vide, budući da prema Zakonu o sigurnosti prometa na cestama nije obvezna vožnja s upaljenim svjetlima kao zimi, upalite svjetla.

Nedavni ljetni neverin koji je nakratko zahvatio splitsko područje, kao i vozačica u Smartu koja je na mokrom kolniku zaplesala kao u najboljoj baletnoj točki, podsjetili su nas na zamke koje kriju skliske ceste nakon ljetnog pljuska. 

Kiša i mokri asfalt inače su redoviti pratitelji svih vozača koji hvataju posljednje dane ljeta i putuju na godišnji odmor, ali takve stvari se događaju i u srcu ljetne sezone, poput ovog spomenutog na početku teksta. Mnogi vozači nemaju pojma, a kamoli iskustva da ljeti na mokrim kolnicima može biti jednako sklisko kao i zimi, po snijegu i poledici. Kad nakon ljetne sparine padne kiša, površinski se sloj prašine navlaži i cesta postaje skliska kao na poledici.

To je osobito opasno na našim cestama u Dalmaciji, gdje je asfalt bogat vapnencem koji se izlučuje na vrućini i s prvim kapima kiše postaje iznimno opasan, naročito ako se ne vozi oprezno. Čim počnu padati prve kapi kiše treba smanjiti gas, a brzinu prilagoditi novim uvjetima. Naime, prve minute na mokrom asfaltu od kiše nakon niza sunčanih i vrućih dana znaju biti podmukle i prepune neočekivanih opasnosti. Tu se prije svega misli na brzo i neočekivano proklizavanje pogonskih kotača, kako pri ubrzanju, tako i pri kočenju, a naročito u zavojima. Upuštanje u avanture u ljetnim kišnim uvjetima s istrošenim gumama i neispravnim kočnicama ravno je ruskom ruletu. Toga bi trebao biti svjestan vlasnik svakog starijeg i zapuštenijeg automobila.

Obično nakon velikih vrućina i sparina zna uslijediti ljetni neverin, koji u tren posla natopi vreli asfalt na kojem se prethodno nakupila prašina, stoga nije naodmet po tko zna koji put ponoviti kako se ponašati u vožnji prilikom iznenadnog ljetnog pljuska kada sparinu i omarinu zamijene kišni oblaci i iznenadne padaline. I upravo na kiši, posebice na onoj ljetnoj, poznaju se junaci. Ovo valja dobro upamtiti u vrijeme kada kiše i nevere smjenjuju ljetne vrućine. Kiša koja padne nakon duže sparine pretvara ceste u opasne skliske podloge.

Najopasnije je kad kiša počinje. Ne kad padnu prve kapljice, nego kad se navlaži cijeli kolnik. Najkritičnije je kad je cesta toliko navlažena da se vide tragovi prolaska prethodnog vozila. Tad se površinski sloj prašine pomiješa s vodom, tvoreći tanak sloj blata, koji je opasan poput leda. Tada neiskustvo i nepažnja vozača te neispravnost vozila dolaze do izražaja u punoj mjeri. Najgore je što niti jedan vozač, u niti jednom automobilu, ne može biti potpuno siguran, jer ne može utjecati na ponašanje ostalih sudionika u prometu. Najbolji savjet je ne voziti za ljetnih kiša ili barem pričekati dok kiša ne ispere površinski sloj ceste. 

Mnogi ipak nisu spremni za ovakva „odricanja“, što se donekle može shvatiti ako je automobil potpuno ispravan. U slučaju ljetnog pljuska vrlo je važno znati da je vožnja po mokrom asfaltu jednaka onoj na zaleđenoj cesti zimi. Stoga treba pripaziti na nekoliko bitnih stvari. Najvažnija je brzina, jer s prvim kapima kiše treba usporiti i voziti što laganije, ne brže od 80 km/h, čak i na autocesti. Pritom treba povećati razmak od vozila ispred sebe na barem 50 metara, izbjegavati nagle pokrete volanom ili pritiske na papučicu kočnice. 

Treba voditi računa o tome da se papučica kočnice pritišće što opreznije i laganije, te izbjegavati naglo uključivanje nižeg stupnja prijenosa jer kotači mogu blokirati. Uz to treba izbjegavati sva pretjecanja i pozorno motriti na ostale sudionike u prometu, posebice na motocikliste i pješake. Za bolju vidljivost, ali i za druge da vas bolje vide, budući da prema Zakonu o sigurnosti prometa na cestama nije obvezna vožnja s upaljenim svjetlima kao zimi, upalite svjetla.

Vožnja u ljetnim kišnim uvjetima, s istrošenim gumama i neispravnim kočnicama, ravna je ruskom ruletu

Nedavni ljetni neverin koji je nakratko zahvatio splitsko područje, kao i vozačica u Smartu koja je na mokrom kolniku zaplesala kao u najboljoj baletnoj točki, podsjetili su nas na zamke koje kriju skliske ceste nakon ljetnog pljuska. 

Kiša i mokri asfalt inače su redoviti pratitelji svih vozača koji hvataju posljednje dane ljeta i putuju na godišnji odmor, ali takve stvari se događaju i u srcu ljetne sezone, poput ovog spomenutog na početku teksta. Mnogi vozači nemaju pojma, a kamoli iskustva da ljeti na mokrim kolnicima može biti jednako sklisko kao i zimi, po snijegu i poledici. Kad nakon ljetne sparine padne kiša, površinski se sloj prašine navlaži i cesta postaje skliska kao na poledici.

To je osobito opasno na našim cestama u Dalmaciji, gdje je asfalt bogat...
