Engleski prijevod romana Ivane Bodrožić "Rupa" uvršten je na listu najboljih međunarodnih kriminalističkih romana 2021. godine prema izboru američkog portala specijaliziranog za žanrovsku književnost CrimeReads.

Top listu čini ukupno deset romana, među kojima je četvero europskih autora. Za roman "Rupa", objavljen pod naslovom "We Trade Our Night for Someone Else’s Day" u prijevodu Ellen Elias-Bursać, na CrimeReadsu ističu kako je riječ o knjizi koja je, tematizirajući traumu, osvetu i beznađe, "u tolikoj mjeri noir koliko je to uopće moguće".

"Dolazak novinarke u neimenovani gradić, u kojem kvartovska sjećanja sežu daleko dok pravda ostaje kratkoga dometa, postaje katalizator za nove eksplozije etničke mržnje. Novinarka je stigla kako bi intervjuirala Hrvaticu koja je zatvorena jer je spavala sa svojim srpskim učenikom te ga uvjerila da joj ubije muža. No, ona je također tu s misijom da sazna istinu o svom davno nestalom ocu – ako joj diskretna veza s politički nepristranim taksistom ne poremeti potragu. Mračno, razorno i lirično".

Roman "Rupa" objavljen je 2016. godine u Hrvatskoj te proglašen najboljim kriminalističkim romanom recentne domaće književne produkcije po izboru čitatelja (Nagrada Balkan Noir za 2017.).

U SAD-u ga je objavio Seven Stories Press, a popratile su ga brojne izvrsne kritike uključujući i onu u New York Timesu, u kojoj zaključuju kako Bodrožić smjelo i uvjerljivo bilježi što je jedna zemlja odlučila zapamtiti, a što pak svjesno potisnuti – a sve u vrsnom prijevodu Ellen Elias-Bursać.

Engleski prijevod romana Ivane Bodrožić "Rupa" uvršten je na listu najboljih međunarodnih kriminalističkih romana 2021. godine prema izboru američkog portala specijaliziranog za žanrovsku književnost CrimeReads.

Top listu čini ukupno deset romana, među kojima je četvero europskih autora. Za roman "Rupa", objavljen pod naslovom "We Trade Our Night for Someone Else’s Day" u prijevodu Ellen Elias-Bursać, na CrimeReadsu ističu kako je riječ o knjizi koja je, tematizirajući traumu, osvetu i beznađe, "u tolikoj mjeri noir koliko je to uopće moguće".

"Dolazak novinarke u neimenovani gradić, u kojem kvartovska sjećanja sežu daleko dok pravda ostaje kratkoga dometa, postaje katalizator za nove eksplozije etničke mržnje. Novinarka je stigla kako bi intervjuirala Hrvaticu koja je zatvorena jer je spavala sa svojim srpskim učenikom te ga uvjerila da joj ubije muža. No, ona je također tu s misijom da sazna istinu o svom davno nestalom ocu – ako joj diskretna veza s politički nepristranim taksistom ne poremeti potragu. Mračno, razorno i lirično".

Roman "Rupa" objavljen je 2016. godine u Hrvatskoj te proglašen najboljim kriminalističkim romanom recentne domaće književne produkcije po izboru čitatelja (Nagrada Balkan Noir za 2017.).

U SAD-u ga je objavio Seven Stories Press, a popratile su ga brojne izvrsne kritike uključujući i onu u New York Timesu, u kojoj zaključuju kako Bodrožić smjelo i uvjerljivo bilježi što je jedna zemlja odlučila zapamtiti, a što pak svjesno potisnuti – a sve u vrsnom prijevodu Ellen Elias-Bursać.

Engleski prijevod romana Ivane Bodrožić "Rupa" uvršten je na listu najboljih međunarodnih kriminalističkih romana 2021. godine prema izboru američkog portala specijaliziranog za žanrovsku književnost CrimeReads.

Top listu čini ukupno deset romana, među kojima je četvero europskih autora. Za roman "Rupa", objavljen pod naslovom "We Trade Our Night for Someone Else’s Day" u prijevodu Ellen Elias-Bursać, na CrimeReadsu ističu kako je riječ o knjizi koja je, tematizirajući traumu, osvetu i beznađe, "u tolikoj mjeri noir koliko je to uopće moguće".
