Ode naš Špiro! Za cijelu Hrvatsku, posebice Dalmaciju Špiro Guberina je bio Strikan iz Velog Mista, a za nas zaklete Šibenčane dragi i nezaboravni Dolačanin, dobitnik Nagrade grada Šibenika i zaljubljenik u Jadriju.
Više nego simpatična bila je njegova šibenska amaterska dramska družina. S više nego dragim, pa i poznatim šibenskim likovima. Poput pokojnog šibenskog kroničara i profesora Ive Livakovića, svekra bivše predsjednice Hrvatske prof. Ivice Kitarovića, Vlatka Maričića…
U to doba u operetnom kazališnom orkestru violinu je svirao i pokojni ginekolog Ivo Merka. Svoje nadarene šibenske glumce Špiro je odreda nagovarao da upišu glumačku akademiju, ali, suprotno tome, on nije iz Šibenika požurio na studij za profesionalnog glumca.
- Uvati se nečeg pametnijeg, ozbiljnijeg. Ne pravi cirkus od sebe u kazalištu – tako je Špiri govorio njegov otac prije odlaska na studij u Zagreb.
Špiro ga je nevoljko poslušao, pa su njegovi studentski indeksi prvotno bili vezani za PMF i građevinu, dok ga, konačno, srce nije odvuklo na prijamni ispit. Njegovo povremeno i simpatično zamuckivanje samo je pojačala nervoza čitanja stihova i odigravanja kratkih rola pred ispitnom komisijom. No, ni zamuckivanje nije bilo prepreka čuvenom Branku Gavelli da zapazi Špirin glumački talent.
- Nije me puno brige što si dosad studirao, sad si naš. Ne možeš više pobjeći iz arene hrvatskog glumišta – kazao je onomad mladom Šibenčaninu stari kazališni mačak Gavella.
Možda sve te i ine detalje ne bismo ni doznali da nam se Guberina nije naširoko i nadugo raspričao u dvije prilike. Iste smo godine dobili Nagradu grada Šibenika, a neizbježni su bili i naši ljetni susreti na Jadriji, gdje je guštao u moru, suncu i šibenskom (crnom) humoru.
Neispunjena želja
- Špiro je pozvao na koncert na Jadriji Splićanina Peru Panjkovića, jer je jedini pjevač koji muca kao Špiro – oglasili su se šibenski zajebanti, kad se Guberina na omiljenoj Jadriji priključio bratu Emilu u organizaciji "Jadrijskog ljeta“ i nekad više nego omiljenih "Bodulskih pripetavanja“.
Od svojih zgoda na bini Špiro je najradije pričao sinjsku epizodu. On se toliko uživio u ulogu vlaja Strikana da je pozvao brojno gledateljstvo na osnivanje Stranke vlaja, te da potvrde s "Vau“ ili imitiranjem lajanja pasa. Za tren je nekoliko stotina gledatelja lajalo, stvarajući ugođaj kao da smo u nekom azilu za pse, a ne na glazbenoj priredbi.
Zadnji razgovor za novine odradili smo na jednoj od jadrijskih terasa. Ćakula je bila više šibenska nego profesionalna. Uvelike se odužila, jer je Špirin pogled lutao prema Prviću, Zlarinu, trošnim jadrijskim kabinama…
- Sve bi dao da zadnje godine života provedem na Jadriji – otelo mu se pri kraju razgovora.
Želja mu se, nažalost, nije ispunila. Kad smo se zadnji put čuli mobitelom, osjetili smo da nije spreman, a ni sposoban za normalnu komunikaciju. A onda je iz Zagreba stigla tužna vijest. Poslije nogometaša Krasnodara Rore u kratkom vremenu otišao je i glumac Špiro Guberina. Prevelik gubitak za emotivne i fetive Šibenčane.

Ode naš Špiro! Za cijelu Hrvatsku, posebice Dalmaciju Špiro Guberina je bio Strikan iz Velog Mista, a za nas zaklete Šibenčane dragi i nezaboravni Dolačanin, dobitnik Nagrade grada Šibenika i zaljubljenik u Jadriju.
Više nego simpatična bila je njegova šibenska amaterska dramska družina. S više nego dragim, pa i poznatim šibenskim likovima. Poput pokojnog šibenskog kroničara i profesora Ive Livakovića, svekra bivše predsjednice Hrvatske prof. Ivice Kitarovića, Vlatka Maričića…
U to doba u operetnom kazališnom orkestru violinu je svirao i pokojni ginekolog Ivo Merka. Svoje nadarene šibenske glumce Špiro je odreda nagovarao da upišu glumačku akademiju, ali, suprotno tome, on nije iz Šibenika požurio na studij za profesionalnog glumca.
- Uvati se nečeg pametnijeg, ozbiljnijeg. Ne pravi cirkus od sebe u kazalištu – tako je Špiri govorio njegov otac prije odlaska na studij u Zagreb.
Špiro ga je nevoljko poslušao, pa su njegovi studentski indeksi prvotno bili vezani za PMF i građevinu, dok ga, konačno, srce nije odvuklo na prijamni ispit. Njegovo povremeno i simpatično zamuckivanje samo je pojačala nervoza čitanja stihova i odigravanja kratkih rola pred ispitnom komisijom. No, ni zamuckivanje nije bilo prepreka čuvenom Branku Gavelli da zapazi Špirin glumački talent.
- Nije me puno brige što si dosad studirao, sad si naš. Ne možeš više pobjeći iz arene hrvatskog glumišta – kazao je onomad mladom Šibenčaninu stari kazališni mačak Gavella.
Možda sve te i ine detalje ne bismo ni doznali da nam se Guberina nije naširoko i nadugo raspričao u dvije prilike. Iste smo godine dobili Nagradu grada Šibenika, a neizbježni su bili i naši ljetni susreti na Jadriji, gdje je guštao u moru, suncu i šibenskom (crnom) humoru.
Neispunjena želja
- Špiro je pozvao na koncert na Jadriji Splićanina Peru Panjkovića, jer je jedini pjevač koji muca kao Špiro – oglasili su se šibenski zajebanti, kad se Guberina na omiljenoj Jadriji priključio bratu Emilu u organizaciji "Jadrijskog ljeta“ i nekad više nego omiljenih "Bodulskih pripetavanja“.
Od svojih zgoda na bini Špiro je najradije pričao sinjsku epizodu. On se toliko uživio u ulogu vlaja Strikana da je pozvao brojno gledateljstvo na osnivanje Stranke vlaja, te da potvrde s "Vau“ ili imitiranjem lajanja pasa. Za tren je nekoliko stotina gledatelja lajalo, stvarajući ugođaj kao da smo u nekom azilu za pse, a ne na glazbenoj priredbi.
Zadnji razgovor za novine odradili smo na jednoj od jadrijskih terasa. Ćakula je bila više šibenska nego profesionalna. Uvelike se odužila, jer je Špirin pogled lutao prema Prviću, Zlarinu, trošnim jadrijskim kabinama…
- Sve bi dao da zadnje godine života provedem na Jadriji – otelo mu se pri kraju razgovora.
Želja mu se, nažalost, nije ispunila. Kad smo se zadnji put čuli mobitelom, osjetili smo da nije spreman, a ni sposoban za normalnu komunikaciju. A onda je iz Zagreba stigla tužna vijest. Poslije nogometaša Krasnodara Rore u kratkom vremenu otišao je i glumac Špiro Guberina. Prevelik gubitak za emotivne i fetive Šibenčane.
